Great location at the Northwestern Hospital Campus! This was my first time ordering from Argo and loved it! Ordered the tomato mozzarella quiche that was warmed and for only $ 5 you can’t go wrong! Large seating area with large window and free wifi. Will definitely be back to take advantage of the weekly tea special. Buy any signature tea and receive a bakery croissant free before 9am. Offer runs until September 7th!

I kept running into Argo Tea and I have to say I loved them. My favorite drink was the Hibiscus ginger ale. Such a refreshing drink to have on a warm summer’s day, especially after you’ve been walking for 5 miles.

First time trying Argo Tea and I wasn’t disappointed, I am more of a coffee drinker but their tea was tasty and refreshing. The first drink I got was a bit tart for me but they made sure I left happy and made me another drink which was the iced Pom tea and it was great. Friendly employees always make customers come back. My son will be staying at the hospital a few days so I will definitely be back to try more teas.

I LOVE argo tea, but this location just does not do it for me. The baristas aren’t always super friendly. I feel like they just want to do their job serving you as quickly as possible. Also, 90% of the time I’ve gotten a signature drink from here, it has such a bland taste like it’s super watered down. Not cool :(If you want GOOD argo, head a few blocks to the one on Rush.

Large seating area lots of tables and chairs. The coffee and tea selection is nice. Good for a stop off while in the Gold Coast.

This is located in the lobby of Northwestern’s Prentice Women’s Hospital. Most people are not here for a happy reason, so you think they would be falling all over themselves to help you out. Um, no. I was there early for an appointment and decided to grab something to drink. I ordered a chai tea and hubby wanted some coffee. The barista said«we make tea» although there were coffee items on the menu. I don’t get it. Isn’t a sale a sale? Anyway, I left to visit the restroom and came back and our drinks STILL weren’t ready! Hubby was reading the paper wondering what happened as others came and went. Then my chai was missing some of the spiciness. Just not good. Until the service picks up and the employees actually care I would say it’s not worth the hassle.

I was a fan of Argo Tea. But I had a horrible experience here. For medical reasons, I can’t have caffeine right now(as I’m sure is true of many women coming to this hospital). I wanted something caffeine free and milky; didn’t seem like I’d have problems finding options at a tea shop(as opposed to, say, Corner Bakery, where I went beforehand only to find no options). But, of their signature drinks, only two are caffeine free and only one is milky. So, I had *one* choice. I asked the person at the counter about other options and she looked up at the signature drink board and read off the same drink options(um, hello? I can read). I again asked for *other* options. She recommended their hot chocolate drinks, even though they do, indeed, have caffeine. I explained that I could not have caffeine – none, zero, zip. We went around and around like this. Another person at the counter stepped in to help, but again suggest their hot chocolate drinks(!!!) They couldn’t come up with any solution, so I finally ordered my only option, a Teapuccino(medium for $ 4.33), and asked for contact information to Argo Tea so I could complain about their options, especially in this particular location given that so many other women would have similar constraints. I mean, even Starbucks(one block away and where I should have gone had I not already been to two other places and running short on time) offers a Vanilla Rooibos Latte. I left, but later when I took a sip of the Teapuccino it tasted awful and I ended up throwing it away. I sent a message to Argo Tea headquarters telling them about my bad experience, including the misinformation the people at the counter gave me about their hot chocolate drinks – this is a serious problem for people with medical restrictions like allergies. That’s just asking for a lawsuit, imho. I also told them the drink was awful and that I wanted a refund. They never responded. Instead, a couple days later I went back and demanded a refund, which thankfully they gave me. But I won’t ever be returning to this place. I think they seriously need to rethink their product and how they train their employees. Very disappointing, Argo.

I’ve been on a latte binge lately and the latte here is by far the best I’ve tasted. Bye bye Starbucks!
