I am so glad I found this place. My favorite Mexican restaurant in Chicago thus far. Great prices and great portions and it all tastes great!

I really, really like this place. The food is great, and the chicken dinner is a real bargain. We have eaten in and ordered out multiple times. Catered multiple birthday parties, everyone loves the food. I however, have one problem with this business. Service. On holidays and busy weekends no one will answer the phone and you turn grubhub off. I have a suggestion, if you expect to be super busy, hire a few more people to work that day. Me and other people stood in line for two hours Dec 31^st. You lost probably 20 sales in an hour, from people walking out. The woman who ran the cash register, would take ONE order and then help the other poor ONE woman who was filling orders for ten minutes and then take ONE more order. Also if we call a day ahead of time and try to place an order, please don’t have your employees say it’s not necessary and that you are prepared for the rush, because you’re never are! Please do yourself a favor, fix your ordering and fulfillment process and make a lot more money! I’ll still be back…

The food is delicious!!! My issue is with the whole chicken meal. They are very inconsistent when ordering Togo Sometimes they give enough chicken that my family of 3 has enough leftovers for the next day and other times like today I didn’t even have enough for my family of 3 to eat. Very disappointing. And I don’t live in the area so I can’t take it and show them, or get some more.
My whole chicken today consisted of 3 thighs a breast bone (no meat on it) and a leg.

This place is soooooooo good. We order the whole chicken every Saturday and it’s so good and very inexpensive. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants good Mexican food and anyone who wants to not spend a lot.

We had a family event in their back little party room, it fits around 100, all I can say is how wonderful their service was and the food was great, The waitress was very nice and help us a lot, its not so fancy but the chicken and fries make up for the décor. Also the burgers are delicious.

This is the first time eating at this restaurant. I had steak enchiladas with red sauce. The dish looked really well put together, the steak was a little overcooked but overall everything was nicely done except one thing, the dish was over spiced to the point of being inedible and I like hot food. If it was going to be that spicy they should have asked if I liked hot food. I will definatly go there again but will let them know to hold back on the spice. The place looked clean but could use an interior decorator. Overall a good place to go eat.

Awesome food! My family usually orders the ½ or whole chicken dinner. The whole chicken easily feeds a family of 4 – 5 people.

The food was delicious the place was clean and tidy. The service was fast and the waiters were very sweet recommend this place to anyone who wants to try authentic Mexican food. AAA

I came here for all the food today I ordered a Grilled Chicken Burrito with fries, they serve a LOT OF FOOD, you should share waverer your order for 2 people, salsas & chip are ready at all times, this is a BYOB Full Restaurant, has also a Banquet Salon for parties… Yummy here is my burrito! Accepted Visa/​MC — Tuesday you get half chicken Free! :D

The food is very tasty, very well served and the services is always great! They truly care about customer service.

Ordered delivery and it was at my house in 20 minutes. Got the ½ chicken special for two, came with rice, beans, onions (not cebollitas as I was told but essentially the same thing) fries and a salad. We paid $ 16!
Very happy, will order again.

Im only giving this place 5 stars because of the time I fell in love wit da waitress. It was like a hawt knife cutting swiftly through the morning margerine, coincidentally her name is margarita. The fries are great.

Great place. The food is delicious buut the only thing ican complain about is the prices. Other than that iwould recomend this place.

I would give this place 5 stars, but I’ve never say down and ate there. I always carry out. Chicken is the best!!! Very humble staff that are always willing to bend over backwards to accommodate your needs.

Visiting from Southern California & family decided to bring us here. Four of us were interested in the parillada but went with the one that fed three. There was enough pork, chicken, beef, veggies, tilapia, shrimp, seasoned fries, sausage, and quesadilla for all four us & WE STILL HAD SUFFICIENT LEFTOVERS TO TAKE HOME. The parillada also comes with a side of rice, beans, salad, and tortillas.
Minus one star for the seating. We were interested in sitting at the restaurant side being that we were a party of eight. However, we were denied as they only open that side during weekends.

This place rocks… the chicken is delicious but if I had to recommend one thing in specific would be the huarache. it’s to die for… the service is superb and everyone greets you with a smile from ear to ear… if there where more stars to give I would. Come try them out now!

We ordered the whole chicken, which came with seasoned fries, jalapeño peppers, onions, rice, beans, and tortillas. All in one large pan (except the rice, beans, and tortillas). Bonus: It’s Tuesday, and apparently on Tuesdays when you order an entire chicken, you get another half chicken FREE. What?! So we get the food and start digging in, and let me tell you, that chicken is amazing. I don’t know what seasonings they use, but it’s delicious. The juices that pool in the bottom of the pan = liquid gold. The chicken is so moist and tender, everyone loved it.
I also have to mention that we called literally 9 minutes before they closed. They STILL answered and took our order, and the guy on the phone was so nice, telling us about the Tuesday special thing. He just asked if we could pick it up, which was no problem.
If I had to find something wrong, I would just say the beans didn’t have any cheese on top. I’m used to the melted sprinkling on my beans when I go to Mexican restaurants so I was a little bummed, but again, I’m being picky. Cheese or no cheese, everyone thought it was great. We’ll definitely be ordering from here again (in a more timely manner, of course).

despite all the trouble, they tried really really hard to correct the problem (which I totally appreciate). I ordered 2x’s via another family member (like a secret shopper) & they gave her all the desert cups & items that we used to get with our order; no issues. I haven’t ordered for work because they have been ordering from another establishment but I will order from them again to get things back to good standing. If a business is willing to keep its customers happy, they deserve to be considered for it!

Muy buena comida, ordenamos una parrillada y estaba muy sabrosa, my familia y yo recomendamos este lugar para cualquier ocasión, el servicio ordenando la comida por teléfono fue muy cordial.

They started to add less juice in the tray with the chicken order. I order when they have the order a whole chicken, get half chicken free, so I just ask for more juice. I also ask for fries on the side instead. I’m updating my review because I have gone here for some orders for parties and also I known some people order here for emergency last minute chicken orders because their caterers or food plans don’t go as planned. It is plenty of food for events and still delicious.

Great place.
The best thing about this place is their chicken take out dinners. It says it feeds 3 people, but it feeds 4 unless people are starving. It’s also less than $ 20. I’ve also ordered a burger at this place and it was great for the value. It was loaded with toppings and came with great seasoned fries. They also gave me a small styrofoam cup so I could help myself to a bit of desert.
PROS: Quick, inexpensive, large portions and friendly service.
CONS: Not exactly the nicest place to eat in and wait times vary depending on the day.
