Wanted to try this place ever since they opened awhile back and it’s walking distance. The interior looks good, but the staff seemed cold. Not friendly at all. Ordered a steak burrito. The burrito was well prepared. I especially enjoyed the crispiness of the tortilla versus soggy. I might try again some other time, but in the mean time I will stick with my current burrito place. and it is NOT Chipotle! :)

This place is awesome. On a friends recommendation, we used them to cater an afternoon gathering yesterday for 45+ people. Everything was amazing. The initial contact, follow up, and preparation was perfect. Our friends raved about the chicken, steak, salsas and guacamole. I was very impressed with the perfection of the tomatoes, lettuce and tortillas. We will definitely do this again.

This place sucks. Their food has WAY too much salt. The burritos, the guacamole, nachos, everything had too much salt. I only entered because I love Mexican food and this place looked clean. But it seems as though the place looks clean because of all the salt killing the germs here.

I’ve only eaten here once since its literally a 3 minute walk and I wasn’t particularly impressed. I decided to give it another try tonight so, I wanted to call ahead since the food cook time is longer than walk back and forth. I called at 9:30p(they are open until 2a) and no answer, I call again and someone picks up and hangs up on me when I said i wanted to place a pick up order! I tired once more and no answer, I’m done.

Lots of whiny reviews here. This place is a great bang for the buck. No chips unless you ask for them, and a rare smaller size burrito(for Chicago) that is just right. Atmosphere great, and everyone that works there is super nice. My go-to taqueria.

I’m giving it 2 stars because it was nice inside and the bathroom was nice clean and new. But the food had no flavor =(they were nice guys, but the steak taco wasn’t good. It looked good but it didn’t taste good. By boyfriend ordered 3 steak tostada dinner but also so flavor. Idk it will take me long time to go back. Again really nice guys tho

The first time I entered this place I was completely plastered so I hung out and got even more dizzy from the mosaic tables while my not so sympathetic significant other stuffed his face. I so wished I was in good shape to eat it because it looked and smelled amazing. Then I went the second time, third and fourth and never have I been disappointed. The staff is super friendly! They take your order, sing, cook your food, sing some more and then you have your food and life is good. My suggestion! Order the junior burrito because portions are massive here. I can never finish my food. Total rookie! P. S. The guac is surreal. So creamy and delish, it must be fake. Yum!

When I’m craving late night food, this is one of my go-to spots. However, I think I might switch to El Potosi or search for someplace new. Why? Multiple times, I’ve ordered the nachos and they weren’t fully cooked. WTF, Burrito House? You served me cold, undercooked meat… more than once! It’s not that the whole thing is cold, but there’s usually a cold section. Other than that, it’s not bad. The burritos are also really good. I’m posting the negative review in hopes that they’ll change their ways. I get it, you’re in a hurry and customers are impatient. But I’d rather wait an extra few minutes if it means cooking everything all the way. Will I try this place again? Sure, and if it’s good next time, I’ll update the review.

They’re open late when you need it. They have free parking. They speak drunk. or at least understand drunk jibberish. They provide 2 types of salsa. Good and Gooder. Tacos and Burritos because gringos.

Attractively redecorated in Mexican tiles since its previous incarnation as a Chinese restaurant. Bright and roomy, with widely-spaced tables for four, six, and eight. Open kitchen. Burrito House offers very familiar northern Mexican standards. Best deal may be the ten specials, ranging from $ 5.60 to $ 10.80, including a 20– ounce soft drink. I tried the quesadilla and chile relleno plate: two flour tortillas rather skimpily filled with cheese, and a big Anaheim pepper, cheese-stuffed, lightly breaded, and covered in a mild red sauce. Accompanied by rice, retried beans, salad, and sour cream. Competent but unmemorable. The others in my party had the same reaction to their burrito choices. No liquor. No TV; background music from a Spanish-language radio station. Limited parking, about four spaces, but plenty of street parking in the neighborhood. About a half mile north of the Belmont Blue Line station, via the 82-Kimball bus; one block from the 152-Addison bus.

When you’re hungry you’re hungry and you’ll eat just about anything unfortunately we stop at burrito house did not have a good experience asked the guy behind the register for chips and salsa after i placed our order he said its extra i told him this is the first Mexican restaurant I’ve been to that charges for chips and salsa when dining in. Hint, make sure you have access to a bathroom shortly after your visit your going to need it.

This place should get at least 4.5 stars if not 5 based on the food alone. The only reason why I give 4 stars is because of one of their workers(not sure of his name). He is usually cooking on the flat top grill. Doesn’t smile, gives you awkward stares, and then right after will speak in Spanish and crack jokes about you to his coworkers. The food is amazing and the rest of their staff is extremely professional. There is just the one worker, wish I could provide his name but they don’t wear name tags.

Same Burrito House from Addison and Kedzie, new location, much bigger, newer, nice bathrooms, but not much parking.
