I LOVE this place for delivery… my pizza rating is based on the thin crust, but i’ve heard great things about their deep dish as well. I have lived in Chicago for 5 years, and every other thin crust pales in comparison to this place! I’m a bit of a pizza purist, so when I find a thin crust, cheese pizza I like: It means we’re pretty serious, This pizza is at the top of my list! The crust is crispy, but still has a nice buttery flavor to it. I find the sauce to be a nice combination of sweet and robust, and it’s not over-powering…nice quality cheese, and they top it off with dried herbs. LOVEIT! The toppings are also great… although I love«just cheese», we ordered a giardinera and Italian beef pizza which was amazing! Great quality beef and a nice, crisp, zesty giardinera. I was also pleasantly surprised by their wings! Their medium hot wings are consistently crispy without being over-sauced or greasy.(The ranch and bleu cheese dressings are also decent quality! Nit picking, but if you like your dressing, this is kind of important!!) Another surprising plus is their caprese salad… granted, it’s an easy salad to make, it’s fresh and high-quality ingredients for a pizza joint. This is my favorite go-to pizza place for wafer-thin, thin crust pizza! Highly recommend for the pizza purist, and those who like high-quality ingredients and a tasty sauce!

I’ve had this pizza twice while visiting my sister & bro in law and it’s delicious! We have had it delivered, so I cannot vouch for dining in, and it is delivered PIPING hot. The toppings are generous, including the cheese. Yesterday we had the Chicago Classic(the sausage could use a little seasoning) and a pepperoni(has a nice kick), both thin crust. I’d post a pizza photo, but it disappears too quickly. Yum!

This is my new favorite deep dish. I’ve had Lou Malnati’s(my previous favorite), Giordanos, Gino’s East, Pequods, a couple of other local places(Tano’s), but after trying Bartoli’s recently, I’ve got to say that it’s just the best I’ve had. The place is small and cozy. The staff was really friendly and quick. We got a large Chicago Classic(sausage, green peppers, onions, mushrooms) There is something different about their cheese and their sauce that makes this pizza oh-so-mouthwatering. :)

Dude that’s one hell’of a PIZZA! Seriously, how can they do these much stuffed on a pizza? Aren’t they afraid of over spending raw materials on a pizza and gets out of business someday? Had the thick crust deep dish cheese pizza, something that no place can achieve. I would probably bring my family tomorrow to have some of their amazingly delicious thick pizza.

The Margarita pizza is DELICIOUS — but, as the owner explained to me, pretty much guaranteed to be cold if you do carry out and don’t eat it within 5 minutes of being in the oven(which is difficult, given the timeframe of 25 – 30 minutes they give you). Maybe only get dine-in with this one.

We just had Bartoli’s original deep dish cheese pizza and it was goooood. The crust is very tasty. This is my new place.

Best Chicago style thin crust delivery around. Pizza has flavor and ingredients are fresh. Huge chunks of sausage. Spinach was fresh and not much was on the pizza, but the quality was good. I didn’t need to add oregano or parm to this pizza. It was perfect.

I’ve always preferred deep dish over stuffed pizza when it comes to thick Chicago slices. I’d heard good things about Bartoli’s so I decided I’d give them a try. Let me start by saying that if Bartoli’s is your favorite deep dish pizza, I can totally understand, however, it is not mine. I’m a Pequod’s person although I’d say that Pequod’s is not necessarily better, it’s just different in a way that to me is better. So what’s the difference? First off, let’s go with the crust. Bartoli’s is much thinner for the undercarriage and thicker for the crust. Bartoli’s has a strong olive oil flavor to the crust that differentiates it from the more buttery crust of other Chicago pizza places. Personally, I like the Pequod’s has a thick slab of bread under the toppings, but if that’s not your cup of tea and you want a crispy, thick, olive oil-y crust(sans caramelized cheese) then Bartoli’s might be your jam. Now, let’s move to the toppings, I actually really liked Baroli’s sauce, it’s a sweet yet savory fusion that plays out really nicely. The cheese is a thick layer that gets a little too chewy for me taste. I had a vegetarian pie and the rest of the toppings(mushrooms, green peppers, spinach, and olives) were fine but not stellar. So, Bartoli’s is really good, just not my preferred place. It was fun to try though and it’s a well enough constructed pizza that I wouldn’t fault anyone who found this to be their fav.

I ordered for pickup for my wife and I and it was fantastic! First time in the restaurant(had some pizza at a Roscoe Village street fest prior) and I was blown away by how clean and modern it was. The deep dish spinach and sausage pizza was incredible as was their SW chicken salad. Can’t wait to get back there.

I didn’t order a pizza but last night it was a very fast delivery! If it was supposed to be 30 – 45 mins, I got it no more than 15 minutes later. I ordered: buffalo wings, a salad and an Italian beef. Overall, the sandwich was great I also got waffle fries which were awesome. Haven’t eaten the salad yet but it looks good, fancy cheese, good size croutons for a large portion. I guess I should have tipped more on my card knowing it would be so fast. The delivery guy seemed like he worked hard, so fear not Bartoli’s, I’ll hook you guys up in the future. Keep up the good work!

Great thin crust and deep dish– something for everyone. The menu is pretty extensive with apps and sandwiches as well. Although the restaurant is small; it is cute for dining in. Plus there is a mart across the street to take care of the BYOB.

We are always looking for a good pizza place. My boyfriend though their Rosemary lemon and onion chicken wings were good. The pizza was decent too. The crust was very crispy and I only wish the sauce had more flavor.

Okay, I’m trying really hard to like this place, as I did go against my better judgement to try it yet again. Unfortunately, still don’t think I will be back. The guy at the counter when I walked in was nice, the reason two stars. Otherwise, based on the food, one star. I only stopped to grab a couple slices of pizza, again, just to give it another chance… I waited about five or ten minutes for them to rewarm a couple slices of deep dish sausage, which was still cold when we ate it. As for the flavor, it was bland and totally lacking in any kind of signature flavor. They guy made it very clear this is one they are know for; really? Good luck, I just don’t think they will survive long term in Chicago, too many better places. Sorry guys, I really did try again. I can’t understand the positive reviews on the pizza? I can only think they have a lot of friends writing them, as they seem like nice people, more than restauranteurs.

For a slice-on-the-go type of place, their dining room is probably one of the more homely feeling, though warm and comfortable. I’ve grabbed slices and relaxed a bit before heading back on the road. I didn’t feel rushed or pushed out the door. Alike the feeling of the environment so is their approach to serving their customer. At least in my few experiences. Their pizza is hearty and rich in flavor. I’m not sure which of their pizzas I appreciate most, whether deep or thin. But it’s tasty and I dig the price. I’ve always ordered slices and never had the chance(yet) to order full pies. I feel as though because of that reason I’ve navigated away from the possibilities of soggy slices. Which can happen with deep dish pies. If ordering a slice there, sometimes I might request a well done slice. I the crunch of the crust.

Great deep dish delivered, the wings were ok, not what I expected, will see how everything reheats, but has my pick as great deep dish that CANBEDELIVERED and will hold up, new go to vs pequads for sure. Lastly, I tried it based on Chicago Magazine’s rating of #9 out of 38 and recommend as well

Seriously underrated stuffed pizza! When it comes to Chicago style pizza be it stuffed or deep dish, I would have to say: 1. Pequods 2. Bartoli’s 3. Lou Malnati’s Yes. I would say it ranks #2 in my top 3. If you haven’t tried it yet, don’t wait!

I got«Bartoli’s Chicago Classic» which has Italian sausage, mushroom, onions and green peppers. Deep dish is a must if you’re in Chicago and this place is definitely one of the top deep dishes I’ve ever had. Service and environment was great and friendly. I would recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed!

I ordered from Bartoli’s twice. After the first experience, I was excited. When I’ve ordered deep dish previously in Chicago, I tend to get soggy crusts with a lot of excess moisture on the top. My first pizza from Bartoli’s couldn’t have been more different. There wasn’t any excess water/etc to be seen, and the crust was delicious and crispy. When I had family in town a couple weeks later, I wanted to treat them to some great deep dish, so I immediately opted for Bartoli’s. Unfortunately, as soon as it arrived, I could tell this was a different experience. The delivery driver wasn’t very careful with the pizza and all of the toppings had shifted to one half. There were pools of liquid all over the top of the pizza, and the box was just as soggy as the crust. I called to complain, but received nothing more than a weak I’m sorry. To their credit, they did offer to make a new one, but as I had hungry guests, waiting more than an hour for another pizza isn’t quite appealing. I had thought I’d found my new go-to pizza place, but it appears I’ll need to keep looking.

Bartoli’s is a quick medium sized pizza place a couple miles west of Wrigley Field off of Addison. It is within walking distance from the Brown line.(This is where I was coming from and stopped by here) There is also a westbound Addison bus stop just across the street. Service here was friendly and prompt. I simply got a slice of pizza in an individual to go box and I was waiting for the bus a minute later. The pizza was good and again quick and convenient. It was not that busy but it was clean and seemed orderly. They have a television and seating for those who would like to eat their slice there.

This has become my go to thin crust pizza. For the last several years, I’ve been looking for a favorite for thin crust, and I’ve tried everything. I was starting to think that Rosati’s was my favorite, until I found Bartoli’s. Bartoli’s thin crust pizza is some of the best that I’ve ever had. The pizza always comes fresh, hot, and SQUARECUT! Nothing drives me crazier in the pizza game more than a pizza that’s not square cut! Besides the thin crust pizza, I haven’t tried the other menu items. Just judging from the pizza, I’d be willing to bet that their other items are just as good. If you’re looking for good thin crust pizza, look no further.
