This review is for the customer service I experienced with Stephanie. I bought a pair of earrings from Stephanie at the store in Hyde Park. I liked them so much that I stopped in at the store on Damen the next day to see if they had them in another color. To my surprise Stephanie was working. She remembered the earings I bought and offered to take some pics from the Hyde Park store and text them to me the next day. True to her word I received pics of all the earrings
She thought I would like.

Anastasia is awesome, as are her fashions and her store. I have been purchasing clothing from her for about two years. Additionally, I have purchased clothing (gifts) for my young adult daughter. She loves Anastasia’s fashions, too. The design of each item is wonderful, and each is well made. Anastasia’s fabrics are beautiful and fun, and her prices are entirely reasonable in light of the high quality.
My own expertise as a professor encompasses local production and purchasing as well as Fair Trade. It’s all about sustainability. Therefore, I do not want to contribute to the sweatshop conditions endured by fellow human in clothing factories in developing countries. Anastasia makes it possible for me to practice my values with each purchase; I know she and her employees make the items in Chicago under safe and fair conditions.
The clothing I have purchased from Anastasia fits me well; she is always willing to alter an item to be sure that I look and feel my best in it. As a consequence, many items I have purchased elsewhere end up sitting in my closet as I pull out her items time after time.
In summary, Anastasia is exceedingly kind, enthusiastic, and helpful. Her fashions are great, and I love visiting her shop. I give this business my highest recommendation.

I was shopping in here for my girlfriend and they helped me figure guy things out like size and alterations. She was super happy I went there. The craftsmanship was outstanding and everything is locally made. I highly recommend this business!

No, I’m not a woman… but yes, I am a satisfied customer of Anastasia’s thanks to her One-​Fit Custom program.
Back in the summer, I saw Anastasia’s products at the Guerrilla Truck/​Art Show and found out that she makes shirts for men, completely custom. As a 6’1″ lanky guy, it’s always tough finding shirts that are slim and fit my long arms just right, so I decided that custom is the way to fly.
Once I got down to my playing weight (I lost a lot of weight this year), I dropped by Anastasia’s newly-​opened shop to learn more about her program. Needless to say, I’m a fan. I opted for three button-​down shirts in unique colors, French cuffs, and a collar style that fit for me. Over 3 – 4 visits to pick out patterns, do a fitting and then a second fitting, Anastasia makes the process fun and makes you feel like you are the genius (when obviously you are NOT the genius, since she’s the artist!). All said and done, the process took about a month and the shirts fit like a glove, just like I asked. Anastasia has a few men’s accessories as well (pocket squares, braces/​suspenders, etc.), and over time I expect to make a visit to upgrade other items in my shirt wardrobe as well.

Perfect place for a pretty little dress that’ll fit perfectly.

Nothing makes a girl feel better than a pretty new dress, so my boyfriend offered to buy me one to celebrate our anniversary. We were hitting up all the boutiques in the area, and stopped in. And I am so happy we did! There was a plethora of feminine gingham dresses, playful colors, and practical cuts and hemlines. It was like Betsey Johnson and the costume designer from MGM’s Seven Brides for Seven Brothers had a love child named Anastasia.
With the help of Sean, I wound up with an adorable wrap dress– perfect for a summer evening, work, auditions…
I was in between the two sizes, so we went up, and they are doing the alterations for free. How AWESOME! Sometimes it is so hard to find a dress that fits well, and the idea of buying it and getting it tailored is not something that exists in my book (unless it’s pants), so I was so happy not to walk away disappointed.
I cannot wait to try the dress on again once it is altered! Btw, this isn’t the kind of shop with vanity sizing– which I so appreciate! I cannot wait to stop in again in the future!

A truly great one-​of-​a-​kind boutique. I stumbled in after leaving Le Dress (across the street) empty handed. Such a happy accident. The sales people are incredibly helpful and Anastasia herself is a delight. I had an issue with the first dress I bought and she made the exchange as painless as possible.
I was shopping alone and the staff was happy to tell me their opinion of what looked best on me… and it wasn’t the most expensive thing in the store.
Love this place and will come back often!
