I had an awesome shopping experience today at ad Hoc! I happened to drive by one day and the window peaked my interest — mental note to return to check them out. Kitty was a great help, like a friend whose opinion I could rely on. I am really excited to wear my new pieces, infinitely comfy, sexy, and able to be transformed depending on what I pair with it. I will definitely be back to this little gem of a store!

This is really the coolest new(though not so new anymore) store in the city. Owner has neat taste and is super lovely and helpful. She has some cool pop sales — so get on her mailing list so you know when they’re happening. Not just clothes either — some fun boutique-y items, too.

Really cool store. Clothing is a blend of Stevie Nicks, rocker, goth, and what I would describe as «geometric» cut stuff(like alot of Japanese designers do). The girl working was super duper nice. Reasonable prices. Love!

Amazing one of a kind neighborhood boutique that also doubles as an art space for special events. The clothing, jewelry, and accessories all made by independent designers are affordable and fab. Love this little shop and so does my wardrobe! The woman who curates this store has amazing style and knows what she is doing! Ad Hoc is a great Ukrainian village spot!

This is my new favorite store! Not just in ukrainian village but in Chicago! There are so many boutiques it is over saturated at times, but this place is worth going in! First off the owner is awesome, she built and designed the place herself and it looks great! But the clothing! Finally a place that gets me. Not crazy flashy or stupid trendy. Nice neutral colors with pops of modern trends. Harem pants, nice quality skinny jeans, loose fit halters, cute dresses. Kind of a minimalist boho feel, but practical and fashionable as well. And the prices are affordable This chick gets it. Apparently this boutique also does art shows at night too, I haven’t been, but I will soon. Deff go spend your money there. :)

This store is simply amazing. I could list a million things as to why this store is fabulous but for your time and my times sake I will leave it to the top 5. 1. First off the décor. Not too bright. I hate when you walk into a store and everything is glaring at you. It is designed beautifully with a chic warehouse/retro feel that just makes you feel relaxed as you shop. I love it. 2. The clothing: everything is unique in its own way. Kat(the owner) will help you choose clothes that fit your body, along with clothes that you may not choose for yourself but then end up gushing over because they look so awesome on. Not to mention everything is SO reasonably prices you’d have to be dumb not to purchase… but the price does not take away from the quality. I have worn and washed a shirt that a bought here a million times and it still looks as good as the day I bought it. 3. Personable. I hate when I go into a store and no one is there to help me, but at I also hate when people are too pushy. ADHOC has the perfect balance. More than willing to take the time to help you but also letting you do your thing. 4. Unique jewelry. I am always on the lookout for unique pieces that not multiple people have. This is exactly what ADHOC has. It is tasteful and one of a kind. Perfect combination. 5. Gallery space– I haven’t had the chance to see the gallery space, but just think about it: Amazing clothes and art, how can you go wrong? All in all this store has a unique charm that no where else can beat. This store is a must for any occasion; whether you need work clothes or a night out outfit you will find it at Ad Hoc.

This is by far the coolest new store in the neighborhood! Nothing against anything else in Ukrainian Village, because I love our little community of amazing locally owned spots– but I’m in love with Ad Hoc! Cool space, décor is sick, the owner grew up a little in Detroit– so automatic brownie points as far as in concerned(it’s a Detroiter thing.) Real talk though, the stock is wonderfully selected and you don’t have that equal parts pumped and defeated when you leave. You know the«I love all these cute things but I’m sure they are somewhere else out there for a fraction of the cost because the prices are sky high here since they are from an independently owned boutique.» Everything is fairly priced without compromising the quality and uniqueness! They will be getting men’s clothing soon too! So boys come back soon, but for now– ladies, it’s a must!
