Hollywood Nails

We were charged $ 40 each, substantially more than the last pedicure we received here which they labeled a «special» pedicure, and had no added services than the last time (trim, callus removal, massage, paint) which was half the cost. This was identical to standard pedicures we have received at other places. They explained their difference in pedicures is the increased massage time? Some places we have been to charge a little extra to remove calluses & rough spots. At double the cost, we will go elsewhere, «get less massage time» & get 2 pedicures, or at least a mani/​pedi. This was by far the most expensive trip we have ever had to get nails done.

I have only come here twice (just moved near by) but by far the nicest nail salon ive found in rva. Prices are on par with other area salons, but this place is far cleaner, more relaxing, and their massages during pedi and mani are far superior. They take appointments but never too long a wait. They have specials during mon to wed as well. Doesnt have that chemical smell here either.

Best massage I’ve gotten with a pedicure in years! Beautiful art work on the nails. Definitely recommend coming here!

I have had my nails done here many times and I have always loved them! They hold up well, and they do them just like I ask.

My boyfriend got a pedicure done and he thought it was okay and was pretty satisfied. I however got a manicure and it wasn’t as good as all the great reviews had claimed it to be.
Although my boyfriend and I were greeted so kindly, my manicurist was not as inviting, which I don’t mind. The manicure itself started off well with the basics: filing, shaping, smoothing, cutting cuticles, and the lotion massage (I thought it was weird and counter productive to be instructed to wash my hands after the lotion portion but hey, what do I know). The actual nail painting portion was a little less than average. There were bubbles when she painted my nails, nail polish was on my skin around my nail beds, and not only did the nail polish not cover my whole nail, the top coat did not fully cover any of nails. You can clearly see the lines that separate the clear top coat and the actual polish aka places where the top coat was not covering.
Overall, I’ll probably try another nail salon.

I visited this establishment on 7−25−15. I was early, so the traffic was minimal and they were efficient with waiting time. Lucy was my technician for the day. Lucy bedside manners were very acceptable, which made me feel comfortable and happy that I visited their establishment. All of her coworkers were nice as well. I have found a new establishment, that I will be a permanent customer from this day forward for my pedicure and fill-​ins. Thank you Hollywood Nail for making my visit a great, great one.

My claws and I do mean claws was jacked from yard work, working out and everything else that Jacks your hands up. It’s right around the corner from me. It’s about $ 15 for a regular manicure $ 20 with tip. Very clean and with a modern look. It didn’t have that over welming smell of paint thinner and kerosene; that is my take on the smell of every other place that I’ve been into. The lady there was pretty sweet she gave me a compliment which was really nice, everyone loves compliments. It was about my arms, they are big ahah anyway. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes on a walk in. I really didn’t think it was expensive but that’s just me. Customer service was good and I’m satisfied. I would return again.

Super clean, with highly professional technicians, and the manager gave me 10% off for a Military discount. Modern chairs that work exactly how they should with very reasonable prices.

After driving around for 45 mins trying to find a nail salon open on Sunday, I found Hollywood Nails — went in for a gel manicure and deluxe pedicure. Received awesome service and didn’t feel rushed like most nail places. She definitely took her time and wanted to make sure I was happy with my nails before I left! Everything was a great price & I will definitely be coming back here!

Been coming here for a few months. Love the way Kevin shapes my nails! I’m pretty particular. Well priced as well! They have just renovated and it’s looking great! :) 4 Stars because the pedicure was not as good as I thought it would be. But I feel like a good pedicure where they really rub you down and take their time is hard to come by so my expectations may be unrealistic.

Today was my first time at the salon and I was very impressed. The owner shaped my nails unlike most of the salons that just place the acrylic and then paint over it. Everything is very reasonably priced.

I am impressed by this salon. The owners are fun and very professional. The manicures and pedicures are fantastic. The massage done with the pedicure is about the best I have received. I highly recommend this salon and so grateful I discovered it when I moved here from CA.
