Their pancakes are crack. I love the maple syrup so much I bought some from their store next door to take home with me. The syrup is carmelized or something… i can’t explain it. I don’t usually like eating sweets unless it was ice cream but I would recommend to everyone to try it!

It’s been years since I’ve stepped into one of these! Went for a late Thanksgiving brunch with family, the service was fast and great! Haley was prompt, got us everything we asked very quickly, and the prices were cheap for the amount of food we got. My grandma loves the grits! Be careful, the buttermilk pancakes are LOADED!

This is probably the better Cracker Barrel out of the ones surrounding Norfolk. The food is always good and the biscuits never let you down. My favorite is the country boy breakfast or the meatloaf dinner. I was here with family a week ago and it definitely hit the spot. You can never go wrong with this place as long as the servers are good and the food is hot. We usually stop here on the way to the outer banks or if we’re desperate for some good country cookin’. The gift shop offers a couple unique things to look at if your stuck waiting for a table too. Clean, great food, and, friendly service; what more can I say?

Mr consistency is the Cracker Barrel. When you are searching for a change from fast food and want something the kids will enjoy then Cracker Barrel is the answer. This one did not disappoint. Johnny provided excellent service. The food is good and reasonably priced. Hot biscuits add to the value. The chicken and rice was excellent. Salads fresh and green. Can’t go wrong here.

Good home style country cooking & breakfast most anytime. Consistently same goodness all over usa. You know what you are getting when you come in the door. Spouse loves biscuits & gravy all hours of day & gets them. I have breakfast or the «blue plate special» and am never disappointed. Spouse has a cover up & several blouses & nic nacs of all sorts. We must be crackers LOL

Cracker barrell has decent, inexpensive food. It’s not anything to write home about, but if you are in the mood for reasonably priced comfort food, it usually hits the spot. I prefer this particular location because it is generally less crowded than the one in Greenbrier.
Pros: I like the ambience and the the general store inside. The food always comes out quickly. It’s inexpensive. The menu is huge and they serve breakfast all day long.
Cons: If it’s crowded, good luck trying to have a conversation with anyone at your table, because it’s noisy. The glasses are tiny, so you’ll constantly be hoping for a refill. Sometimes the service is spotty. You’ll be dying for a refill and your server never comes back until they bring you the check. They are often «out of» whatever the featured dessert is.

Decent amounts and pretty decent taste. The chicken and rice was delightful the lima beans scrumptious and the salad was humongous. The pancakes are really good and the eggs were delicious.

I’m not really a fan but my husband loves this place. They get 3 stars for serving breakfast all day, their neat gift shop with old timey candy and the big fireplace in the winter.

Like all Cracker Barrel’s this one offers a good breakfast and a decent lunch and dinner with a comfortable feel and nice staff.
Since CB keeps a good level of consistency the food and layout is essentially the same so the only thing that I can really rate the CB is on its cleanliness, staff and the parking lot accessibility/​location.
I’ll be brief… the staff was very polite and efficient. The food arrived earlier than we expected and the server was attentive to refills of coffee and water. Cleanliness was also very good. The bathrooms, tables/​dinning area and general store were all freshly cleaned and continually well kept. Unlike a few rare store locations this parking lot had good flow of traffic.
Still CB is chain restaurant and my Unilocal primarily focus on food so this like the majority of CB’s is just A-​OK

Good southern food restaurant chain, this location is decent enough when you’re craving a big Chicken Fried Steak. I personally thought the sweet tea glasses were a little small for all that endless goodness.
Good service.
One of the few places for Goo-​Goo Clusters and Banana Moon Pies. Didn’t see any RC Cola at this place, though.

We’ve slept outside Cracker Barrels on our cross-​country drives in the car, grabbed an early breakfast when it first opens and then hit the road before traffic got bad.

I feel that the dinner meals are just ok but their breakfast hits the spot. Then again… I think breakfast is the most boring meal of the day… to my husband’s dismay. Can’t go wrong with their pancakes and bacon. Instead of trying their regular hashbrowns, go for the one with onions and cheese.

Well my wife makes me eat at a Cracker Barrel whenever we can find one. We were on the road and hungry.
Meatloaf was excellent as always. Chicken and dumplings were excellent. Good food cooked like Grandma used to delivered to the table in less than 10min after ordering.
No complaints. Staff was friendly as always. It is like they have Cracker Barrel factory… all the locations are top notch across the country.

We been to more Cracker Barrel locations than I can remember, but this was by far the fastest we’ve seated and foot served to us. We sat down, placed our order and in a matter of a couple minute, everything was served to us hot and delicious. Can’t miss with Cracker Barrel!

We like this place and eat here regularly. The restaurant is clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food has always been good and fresh – maybe because we make a point at going there during rush hour (lunch or dinner time). The prices are acceptable and there is a lot of variety for every kind of appetite or family member. Very nice atmosphere as well.

I had never been to a Cracker Barrel until I went to this one! LOVE IT! Good food… Love their breakfasts! Great servers! They are always so helpful and my drink never goes dry. Very attentive. Both my children love to go here. My son flirts with the waitresses and they flirt back and my daughter loves the store.
Very casual and relaxing.
