It used to be a good place but not anymore. All fast greasy food and at night it’s scary. We had people next to us that were using profanities like every other word and were loud and rude. We never went back.

I can’t say I’ve had anything but horrible experiences at this IHOP. First visit my waitress walked away in the middle of me asking a question about what I was ordering… And when our food was served never came by to ask if we needed a refill for the 20 minutes our drinks sat empty. We then got our check and waited about 15 minutes until she decided to get it from us and then she didn’t say a word. Gave them a second chance. The waiter was nice, but he was slow and more worried about fighting with his coworkers in front of the whole restaurant and complaining about getting more customers to his tables than taking care of any customers waiting already. And we were overlooked probably for 30 minutes after giving our credit card to pay the bill. We received our check back after he proceeded to bring every other table their orders and take new ones coming in… Probably to avoid getting more customers seated in his area. The food is your typical freezer box breakfast. There is nothing fresh about it. The eggs are salty and they ask how you want them cooked but then tell you«over easy will be cooked over medium»? Ok… There is nothing special about the pancakes. And the toppings are so artificial. But those are tolerable. The hash browns are definitely frozen and the bacon tastes like Oscar Myer precooked and old and sausage nothing special as well… If you want fresh food, fast and good service, not the place to go. If you have time on your hands and want a cheap breakfast it’s a good option.

This Ihop sucks. I was in Buffalo on vacation, & came for breakfast. I always eat at Ihop at home & expected the same quality & service I get there. NOTEVENCLOSE! The waitress was very snotty & acted like she was doing us a favor by taking our order. Not that she listened & got it right. I ordered a pancake combo, & asked for the eggs scrambled & on a separate plate for my 2 year old daughter & asked for my bacon extra crispy. My the eggs were under the hash browns & the bacon was almost raw. The hash browns were disgusting, covered in liquid margarine to the point of dripping. I took my daughter to the bathroom & it smelled like a sewer. My friend that was with us got her toast on a plate that was smeared with old strawberry sauce, which could have killed her since she is highly allergic to strawberries! They were also out of alot of things like iced tea & juice! Go somewhere else! I wouldn’t have given one star, but I couldn’t give it any lower.

Food quality was good. Was lucky enough to get a very hospitable waitress. I say that because some of the other waiters were confused to their customers. You get what you get from Ihop. I don’t like the location. But otherwise 4-stars!

I came here for breakfast with my friend and the service was quick, but what I had ordered was not available, and they did not have anything to replace it with that I wanted, the onion rings were soggy that I received and my duress order was fine but a little pricy for what he got, I’m not that satisfied over all

Terrible service! Hostess seated us and we sat there for ten minutes. Finally the waitress made eye contact and put her index finger up indicating she would be over shortly… Ten minutes later we left, never having any contact at all with the waitress other than her signaling us. I’m now wondering if it was the middle finger she gave us. :)

Went to IHop because I really love their pancakes. Our server was nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, me and a friend witnessed very, very horrible customer service from the manager regarding another patron that was eating there. We listened as the customer complained about how they got an order wrong not once but twice. Instead of apologizing for poorly served food the manger began arguing with the customer! She wouldn’t offer anything off of their meal and used cursed words when repeating what the customer was saying. Even though the customer was upset the manager did nothing to calm her down and was yelling at her and telling her what she should have done if she didn’t like her meal. Plus, the bathroom smelled horrible! Horrible! I have never seen anything like that. I didn’t know managers were allowed to yell and curse at their visiting patrons.

Well the last time I visited ihop, it was very nice this time NOT so much. 1st thing is we brung the kids as it was one of their birthdays big mistake he was cranky and crying the whole time which was aggravating. The waitresses was nice enough. The food was horrible my chicken fajita omelette looked like my 2 year old made it all of the toppings that should have been on top making it look pretty had all slide down the side of the omelette, the salsa & sour cream sides were only have way full not enough to cover 4 bites if it. The pancakes that came with it well I didn’t touch them as they had a fruit fly embedded in them YUCKY! !!! None of us finished our meals need less to say. I won’t be visiting again

They are fast and the staff is always friendly. I like their coffee and they give you a pot for the table. Unfortunately they don’t really have great specials and there are far better local choices for less cost. They run specials sometimes that are national but the choices are limited then.

Whenever we head to the States, we make sure we always hit up an IHOP for breakfast. DirRRty, greasy, artery clogging goodness that is IHOP. It was Sunday morning at 11AM and we left the Pink Fountain Motor Inn famished. Coming to this spot, we always have to wait with the crowd… but not that long. There were 6 parties ahead of us and the hostess told us it was going to be a half hour wait. Remember that it’s a breakfast place so people are going eat and lickity split outta there. We waited at the door as people left and we made it in within 15 minutes. Sitting down I already knew what I was going to get… cuz I get the same thing everytime. 3 pancakes, 3 eggs over-easy with hashbrowns and, my favourite CORNBEEFHASH for $ 10.69! Hakka Wife made sure she gave me 2 of her sausage links. Those were delicious. Because the place was busy, our food did take a while. When the food came… we conquered! I don’t know but whenever I go to IHOP, I feel total gluttony… yummy deadly sinful food. I loved the Corn Beef Hash but it was a bit runny and oily. I like it when it’s a bit dry some. I forgot I had hashbrowns so there was a lot of hash… browns! Could not finish the pancakes for the life of me so we took that to go… yea you heard me, to GO! Can’t waste it. I think after we were done conquering, my eyes shut twice to slumberland. I caught myself and came back to reality. Oily always makes my eyes close. What ever do they put in those fluffy pancakes???

This IHOP is horrendous. I walked in with a friend around lunchtime, and they were out of chicken for sandwiches, chicken strips, garlic bread, wheat bread, white bread and strawberries. Seriously? I know that IHOP is a fast food restaurant, so I don’t expect much. That being said, I did except for a restaurant to have food. I’m not here for the entertainment.

Had a groupon and tried this place out. Being the holiday season while there had the white chocolate rassberry pancakes(very flavorful) wife had the spinach omelet. Service was a bit slow but food was good. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. This place is worth a visit. Nice clean place and decent food.

When you choose to go out and spend your money in at a restaurant you probably have the same criteria as I do: Do you like good wait staff? Great tasting food? Clean bathrooms? Speedy service? A professional manager? If you want anything from the above DONOT go to the IHOP at the Thruway Plaza! We ordered the carafe of coffee and they only brought half filled for two people. I ordered a sprite, I waited 15 minutes for a Pepsi. It took the waiter another 10 minutes to get me my drink. Every time he spoke it was no louder than a whisper and we even made mention to him that we couldn’t hear him a few times and he made no effort to be a bit louder. We ordered a sampler platter, chicken & waffles, crepes, and the pot roast dinner. 15 minutes after we ordered everything, the waiter whispered to us that they ran out of onion rings and asked if we wanted extra mozzarella sticks. We had no problem with it and then another 10 minutes later we got a platter with 3 cheese sticks, 3 onion rings, 3 chicken tenders and a boat load of soggy, tasteless fries. After another 45 minutes of waiting and not seeing any employee of IHOP for over an hour we ended up calling the restaurant hoping to find the manager. After speaking with the manager on the phone, our food came out a few moments later. The manager came over around the same time and we told her our problems. She apologized and offered to cover the check and said she would be back in a moment. I asked my waiter when he brought the food if I could get a refill of my soda; apparently that was asking too much. The pot roast tasted like a pound of sugar was poured in it and the rest of the food was mediocre. At this point, we had been there for over two hours. We finished eating and then waited another 10 minutes for the manager to come back over because she said she would but I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised when I was let down again. So as I’m about to get up and leave I thought I’d hit the bathroom quick. I was met with a clogged sink, a terrible smell, and dirty stall. This was overall one of my worst dining experiences OFMYLIFE!!! We did not pay money but I feel like I paid with time from my day so I still got ripped off.

The food prices, quality and quantity are capable of making this place a 4 or 5 star experience. But … the washroom smells atrocious. There is clearly a venting issue in it and I’m pretty sure there are sewage fumes rising up from the urinals. Not sure why the local health authorities have let it go so long. The hostess was so useless — she brought us to a zone, there were 2 plates left at a booth. We asked for the booth. Instead of moving the two plates, she refused to seat us there and put us at a table. The waitress came by and moved the plates in 2 seconds and let us sit there, but by then this is all we have thought about. As for the food, I had an omelette with ham and veggies — excellent and large portion. I had whole wheat pancakes with bananas, and added pecans. Well done, except the plate was so small the pancakes overhang from the plate. I’d like to know if they use real maple syrup or if that stuff on the table is Aunt Jemima. The waitress refused to answer me about that. If someone from IHOP should ever read this — please renovate the bathrooms, they are disgusting.

Well I went in there again last night… I waited for a host/hostess…and I waited… and I waited… and I waited… I was about ready to leave when the cook came out of the kitchen with his apron on and all, and sat me at a table… First thing I noticed was how greasy the table was I was sitting at… Then it hit me… Yep, that same gross smell I smelled in this same location once about 6 months ago… Moldy/mildew carpet smell… I am assuming that’s what it was because the smell was in the dining area… Definitely had that moldy musty stench, YUCK ! The carpet also had big spill stains all over it… It really is quite over-whelming…I am not sure how others can dine here… I do have quite the sense of smell though but still it was bad… It was at this point I decided to leave, and I headed to the I-hop on Maple Rd in Amherst… Much better dining experience there… In fact, I am done with this location at least until a renovation is done with this place… It’s gross… This was around 8pm or so… Restaurant had about 5 tables going at the time.

My dad and I drove from Lancaster westbound along Walden looking for breakfast. Aside from the Dunkins and Tims, there was very little on a Sunday morning. Very strange. This IHOP was the first place we found that had a sit-down breakfast, so we pulled in. It was packed and there were eight people waiting for a table ahead of us.(The crowd seemed to bolster my observation that there aren’t many breakfast places on Walden.) It turned out they were all together and waiting for a big table; the host was able to get me and my dad in right away because there were only two of us. The staff were friendly and pretty fast considering the crowd. The menu was huge. I haven’t been to an IHOP in years and there was a lot to choose from. I finally settled on buttermilk pancakes with bacon, and Dad got a plate of sausages and taters and eggs. With pancakes on the side, of course, because anything you order that is not pancakes comes with a side of pancakes. The bacon was a bit stiffer than I like it but everything was ultimately tasty. Very glad to discover that unsweetened or lightly-sweetened pancakes now seem to be the norm, because I prefer the sweet to come from the syrup. Coffee is bottomless. I really appreciate the American trend of just setting a big carafe on your table so you can keep refilling your own cup. As other posters have said, I’d rather eat in a local place instead of a chain, but we couldn’t find one that was open for breakfast on our route. IHOP filled the bill.
