Food, cleanliness, staff– all are great. But I’ve gone in 3 times around 830(30 mins before they close) and they’ve ran out of 3 – 4 items on the menu. This time the staff member said there was a 10 minute wait for teriyaki chicken. I said okay, then she said never mind they are cleaning up– 30 mins before close there’s no more of your top 3 – 4 popular dishes?! Unacceptable. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

The manager here is always so sweet when I order a family meal to go. She always asks me to wait for a fresh batch off the stove and gives me a free small drink while I wait. Delightful! I love their Panda Passion tea and appreciate that it comes unsweetened. It’s perfect without any added sugar.

Panda Express is the King of fast food Chinese for sure. The staff at this location are very pleasant, helpful and not pushy. Very nice. The food is quite good for the price. They have 4 options for sides — white rice, brown rice, fried rice and lomein. I like their simple lomein. The Angus beef steak costs a dollar something extra but it’s nice. I think this is the best Chinese fast food restaurant.

Just ran in to grab lunch in between rushes and it was very clean. Lady was very attentive. Only down falls are that my sweet and fire chickens and orange chicken taste almost the same and my rice does have much flavor. Some bites of rice are over cooked while some are under cooked. But I’ll be coming back.

Place is horrible. Every time I’ve been the food was cold and mixed. Like noodles in my rice. Service is horrible and all around lazy. Avoid this location

I don’t understand the bad reviews. This is the best Panda Express I have ever been to and one of the best fast food places I have been to May, The manager is always friendly and overs some of the best customer service I have seen. She knows my mother as she comes in often too. The food is always hot. Service is fast and friendly I have not one slight negative thing to say and I have been here uncountable times. Highly Satisfied. The location is ALWAYS super clean.

Their lo mein tasted like it was stir fried with really really old oil. We found a long hair intertwined in their lo mein, didn’t like it, but we just took it out. It happens. Then yesterday’s take out had a piece of plastic in the kung pao chicken, upon a closer observation, it looked like someone’s used band-aid. This is just unacceptable! Don’t think we’ll be eating here again.

It’s cheap, fast and honestly I am not going there expecting authentic food. It tastes good. The people are pretty helpful and friendly. I always get the chow mein noodles with honey almond shrimp and orange chicken. I generally don’t stray from that. The honey almond shrimp is big shrimp which is unusual, good quality… yumm… It is not the most convenient location but it is pretty dead by 1pm. I do wish they carried some other items like the website.

This Centreville-based version of the chain is exactly what you’d expect. They have a good variety of chicken and meat-based dishes, and keep moving newly cooked food in and the older stuff out as the day progresses. Service was good; they offered samples of a new chicken dish and the manager came out to ask us where we were from(survey for their consideration of the next branch) and took the opportunity to ask us about our meal. They are good at moving you through the line quickly, but I have not been at a lunch rush and cannot say if it would be different then. The price was reasonable enough, especially for a family. You might get more at another area chinese takeout, but you’d pay a dollar or two more per person as well. We had two adults, one grade-schooler and one toddler in our party, and everyone was satisfied. The adults, who would generally choose spicier fare if possible, did not think the spicy option offered(«Firecracker Chicken») was very spicy at all, but it was still too spicy for the grade-schooler. On the other hand, the Black Pepper Chicken did have a nice peppery kick, and they passed my childhood Beef With Broccoli test(if a Chinese restaurant can’t make good Beef With Broccoli, you can’t trust them on anything else).

It’s a Panda Express. They’re all sort of the same. This one is clean, the food could be fresher. What boggles the mind is why they advertise their firecracker chicken so heavily. It’s one of the worst dishes I’ve ever had. Don’t expect to return here unless it’s for free food. But then again, this was sort of hard to classify as food.

Its cheap, fast, and everything you’d expect from a Panda Express. I’ve had better(esp. the one in Sierra Vista, Arizona), but it serves in a pinch. My standby order is white rice, orange chicken, and beijing beef with a side of mandarin sauce. The parking lot is just awful(why oh why must people in this area place THAT many speed bumps is beyond me). If you want a great smoothie, hit up the Café next door. The only drawbacks are they never seem to have enough staff for the lunch hour rush — so get there before noon or after 1pm — and they don’t have the full Panda Menu(I’m not sure why, but they don’t carry everything offered on the Panda website).

I have always loved Panda Express, and the last one I went to was actually at Tyson’s Mall years ago. Anyways. My boyfriend and I decided to go for«pre-Valentine’s Day» lunch. We each got two dishes and a side. For me, it was Orange Chicken, Sweetfire Chicken, fried rice and two spring rolls. The Sweetfire was okay, not as spicy as I was expecting and kind of reminded me of a mild Sweet and Sour Chicken. The Orange Chicken packed a lot of flavor and was fantastic. The fried rice and spring rolls were also good, I’ve had better of both, but they weren’t bad. My boyfriend got the Mandarin Chicken, Orange Chicken, Chow Mein and an egg roll. I tried some of his Mandarin Chicken and I liked it more than my Sweetfire. He said that the chow mein was not as good as he had hoped and that he wished he had gotten fried rice. He said nothing about his egg roll, but I assume by the speed at which he ate it that it was good.

Solid four stars for this Panda Express. I’ve been here probably five times since it opened. The food is always fresh here, and there is a very friendly lady who will always give you a bit extra if you are nice to her. The orange chicken is fantastic, as is the kung pao. It is INCREDIBLYQUICK. Honestly, you can be in and out in less than two minutes. I love instant gratification with decent food. Don’t forget that it is diiiirt cheap for a ton of food. I am a happy camper.

if you need a quick chinese craving fix then this is the place for you. Came here for lunch today, a lot of empty tables but a lot of traffic with carry out. I had the 2 entrees deal. Food was hot, tasted good but i think it has a lot of msg in it coz it made me thirsty after. total damage was $ 5.99 plus tax. After I left there was a good sized crowd for lunch. Not bad just don’t be too picky considering the bargain price you are paying.

My husband and I used to meet up at Panda Express in San Francisco when we were dating, so the Panda has a bit of romantic nostalgia for me. That being said, I have been married for awhile now and my eyes(and taste buds) are not nearly as clouded over as they were back in the day. I was excited that Centreville was going to get a Panda Express when they first came to town(I think they have been open for about a year). Centreville is getting better as far as dining choices, but at one time it was truly slim pickens around here. Unfortunately for Panda, there are so many excellent Asian food restaurants in this area, that Panda now seems a little too Americanized and«fast-foody» for me. We visited the other night and I did notice that they have improved on a few things. For instance, there is a sign that says if any of the food pans are low(or empty), they are happy to cook up some more for you. Which is good, because the last time I went there half of their trays were empty. This time, everything was well stocked(it was about 6:30 pm on a Monday night) and most of it looked pretty good. They have a new dish called«SweetFire» which is supposed to be a spicy version of sweet-n-sour chicken. Trust me, though, it’s good but not very spicy. My husband, who is sensitive to that sort of thing, ate it without any after-effects, such as heartburn. So if you like a slightly spicy sweet-n-sour, go for it. If you are looking for heat, don’t bother with this one. The Crab Rangoon is a tasty treat and a bargain besides. You get three large pieces filled with the creamiest cream cheese I’ve ever had in Rangoon, for only $ 1.25. We ordered three of them(nine pieces) and it was enough for a meal at only $ 3.75. This was probably the best dish that we ordered. Other things we ordered were Kung Pao Chicken, which I found to really have some heat(courtesy of a decent amount of black peppers), Mushroom Chicken(big on mushrooms, very short on actual chicken), and Orange Chicken(overall pretty good). All in all, the food was okay. The fried rice and lo mein were unusually dry and nothing to write home about. They have a decent kids meal(one entrée, cookie and drink for $ 4.50). And they are very generous with the fortune cookies and plastic utensils, just in case you were wondering.

Went here around 11:30 for lunch after going to the gym(great lunch right? lol. There was one other group of customers there. only 1⁄3rd of the trades were full. It was okay though. they seemed busy cooking the food. The food was fresh it seemed. My girlfriend and I waited about 5 – 10 min and then more and more dishes started to come out. The food was fresh, the person working there was nice. It was good for what it was. Can’t beat 2 meals(6 entrees and 2 sides) for about $ 15. they lose 1 star for not having everything ready on time. but the food was fresh.

I am not going back or at least I am not going there for an early lunch. Okay. I went back to this Panda Express for an early lunch – around 11:15AM. I felt like I was the first customer of the day. There were some empty trays and some half filled trays. No big deal. So, I picked three dishes – orange chicken, kung pao chicken, and black pepper chicken. None of the beef dishes were ready. It was a take-out order. I came back to my house and I soon realized why those trays were only half full at the beginning of the lunch hour. THEYWERELASTNIGHT’S LEFTOVERS. I could tell by how the food tasted. They tasted like crap. We can all guess by their prices that Panda Express does not use high quality ingredients especially chicken meat. I’d say the quality of chicken they use is no better than McDonald’s if not worse, because McDonald’s would get way higher volume discount than Panda Express. So, it is obvious that the chicken will taste very bad a day after they are cooked. I don’t know if recycling yesterday’s leftovers is a standard normal practice at all Panda Express locations or not. But, I am not going back or I will make sure not to go there for an early lunch ever.

I’m not sure how long this Panda Express has actually been in Centreville — but I only noticed it for the first time about 2 – 3 days ago. It’s been many years since I’ve eaten at a Panda Express — I’ve always enjoyed it — it’s not authentic Chinese.(I always have to state that now for Kevin’s benefit — otherwise he will feel the need to make a wiseass comment :-)) It’s definitely a fast-food, Americanized Chinese food, but I still like it. When I walked in, my nostrils were assaulted by some really fabulous smells! I ordered the 2 entrée platter which comes with one side. I opted for the Firecracker Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, and Fried Rice, plus a bottle of water. I’m guessing the average American would think that these dishes were spicy hot — I could detect some heat — but I prefer much spicier. Still, it was a quick and tasty dinner. Not nearly as good as Charlie Chiang’s or Sino’s Inn though.
