Oriental Express

Ordered on very busy evening, waited a little bit, but they didn’t disappointed. The food was really good, I got fried dumplings and Hunan Pork and have to say — delicious. Portions was pretty good and vegetables in Hunan pork was perfectly cooked. Definitely will be back. :)

I’ve ordered delivery from here 5 times. The food is fine… typical Chinese takeout. The delivery estimates always say 30 – 45 minutes or 45 – 60 minutes. In 5 orders it has never been accurate. The best time was 1hr and 10 minutes… worst was 2hrs (which actually happened twice). There are plenty of options in the area for the standard food. I’d look elsewhere if I were you.

Don’t depend on quick delivery. Ordered at 6:45…it’s 8:05 and I just called and they asked if I could wait a little longer.
I understand places get busy, especially on a Friday night, but maybe they should anticipate it and hire more delivery drivers.

Was really good, great delivery i had sesame chicken and broccoli beef was amazing for me.
I recommend oriental express and good prices also

Honestly this is some of the best Chinese I have had in a while. I have yet to be disappointed. I work right around the corner so my job and I order here often. The crispy chicken, chicken Lo main, and crab Rangoon are wonderful. You have to ask for the sweet and sour sauce If you like it with your crab Rangoon. These are my go to dishes. People at work order other items and love them as well. I live in Manassas so I also drive here to pick up food instead of ordering around here.

The food is always good and the orders have always been accurate. We’ve been surprised a couple of times when the order came way before we expected it.

The food is good (my personal favorite is the combination lo mein), but be careful if you order online. If I go for a week without ordering something from them, I get these ridiculous and slightly creepy emails, as though Oriental Express is a girlfriend I just broke up with and she’s desperately trying to figure out what went wrong. If anything is wrong, it’s definitely those emails. They are funny at first, but it quickly gets off putting, so I’ve opted out. Other than that, decent Americanized Chinese food.

Standard American Chinese delivery, which is exactly what I wanted. The fried dumplings were enough to be a meal for me, and my husband like the crab Rangoon.

The food was good. actually great for delivery.
Our house is super hard to find, and the driver was very persistent until he found our home.
The lo mein was very good, and the dumplings were very good.
We are just happy to find delivery in the Clifton area!

Had to knock off a star because they don’t offer egg rolls. However, they do make an amazing spring roll, yes I should have ordered about a half a dozen. maybe next time:)
This place, having ordered from them previously and continuing to do so should be tell-​tale that the orders have been accurate, the portion to price ratio is fair and the delivery has been incredibly quick! Thus far have been sooner than predicted! That’s awesome! Egg drop soup is rich, deeply golden and tasty. the fried rice, meh, its a bit dry… no big; roasted pork and beef with broccoli were flavorful which more than made up for it.
Yes, they sent packets of soy sauce, spicy mustard and duck sauce… fortune cookies? Yep, those came through too! Great place, try ‘em out someday.

Nothing to complain here. It’s takeout Chinese, so it’s foolish to expect Michelin-​started food. For what it is, food is great. If I order at 7:00 my food is ready for pickup at 7:15, even if I order 4 entrees. Black pepper chicken and chicken LoMein are by far my fav go to dishes, but they just introduced a Thai drunken noodles and I must say, it rivals the Thai restaurant PK next door for about $ 3 – 4 cheaper! Plus the lady who always takes my order recognizes me now as a regular and is very nice!

Really good Chinese food, every time.

Today, I wanted a light but filling dinner. Can’t go wrong with Chinese food but sometimes you will be hungry again in a hour. my food came out fast but the cashier really didn’t have a smile or interacted with me at all. Despite that, the food was good.

We ordered delivery from Oriental Express, it had been two hours and it still has not arrived. We called to inquire where our food was 45 minutes ago, they told us there was a gas leak next door and they had to close the kitchen (that’s fine, but why were we never informed of this when we ordered?) And our food would be here in 15 – 20 minutes. Still no sign of it… I’m eating cereal for dinner instead.

BUYER BEWARE — ONLINE ORDER
This place is the biggest crock of crapola for online Chinese food delivery in the area. So here is the deal, I went to their Website and ordered from there (not from Unilocal) and their site has coupons based on how much you spend. I ordered 3 dinner combos and 2 appetizers + steamed vegetables totaling over $ 40. It «unlocked» a Free General Tso dinner and a button to add that to cart. I did, this was going to be the 4^th dinner we needed. Delivery comes — No General Tsos. I called them and got some bs runaround that if I clearly read the paper menu it says no coupons with combos — I told them it was an ONLINE ORDER from THEIR WEBSITE and it had no disclaimer, even unlocked the button for me to add it to cart. All they said was that’s too bad, its not «their website» (which is bogus it is their website). Never never again. There are 3 or 4 crappy Chinese delivery places in this town, next time Ill spend my money on one of the other 3 or bump it up 10% and order from Charlie Chiangs (marginally the best). ***Update*** I would not recommend Charlie Chiangs either, you can check ot my review on their page, crappy crappy experience — both of these places are for the dogs ****
Net net — Do *not* order from this place online, its a joke.
(And you would think for a dish that costs them probably on the highend $ 2 – 3 to make they would apologize and send the guy back with a box of it).

Easily the best Chinese delivery in centreville! The food is delicious and hardly ever disappoints. Not perfect every time, but no place can be. On days when the delivery is a bit late or the chicken is a bit dry, I don’t even mind because they definitely make up for it the next time around. If you’re giving this a try for the first time and are on the fence, please give it a second chance. You won’t be disappointed twice in a row. Lo mein and fried rice are hands down the best I’ve ever had. Crab Rangoon is on point! Especially with a side of their amazing sweet and sour sauce! Delivery time is 9 times out of 10 much less than estimated. This place will never lose my business.

taste was pretty good, not too sweet, not too salty. honestly if ididnt chow egg shells 3 times, i would give them 4.

My go-​to for quick chinese. I’ve lived in the Centreville area for most of my life, and this is my preferred takeout. (Close 2^nd– fortune gourmet) reasonably priced, and the lunch specials are a WONDERFUL value, more than enough for 1 meal. It’s not really the place to dine at, atmosphere-​wise, but try some take-​out. The fried rice here is awesome.

Hands down best chinese delivery in the area. I live in Manassas just over the Bull Run bridge and am very thankful that they deliver to me. All the chinese delivery places in Manassas are gross.

First time to try this chinese take out/​dine in place. The choices are pretty decent and prices are ok. Friendly counter service.
Had the orange beef and it was tender and tasty. The chow mien, spicy eggplant were all great. They deliver for $ 12 minimum order.
Would try again next time.
