Dear Queen ‘Doba After writing a 2 star review for another Qdoba, I only felt that that it was right that I come and review my main squeeze Qdoba. Fiirstly, I’m sorry I cheated on you. It wont happen again. This Qdoba has been my go to for numerous years and will continue to be for forever. They allow me to make unique request’s like putting a little of every meat into my Mexican gumbo. The food always seems fresh and if for some reason I have a problem, I feel that they’re never upset about going a little bit further. I’ve worked in the service industry for years and this place has it figured out. It’s all about the customer first. It’s just unfortunate that they close early. Maybe, thats why the moral at this location is so high. Usually, there is a younger girl with a darker complexion working the line when I come in to get my greasy queso burrito and my dad his unique ordered gumbo. I wish I knew her name… I’d happily give her the credit she deserves Please forgive me for attempting the Qdoba down the street. I’ll never do it again. Sincerely, Your Queso King Max

I would give it 0 if I could. Ordered online went to pick it up… not only was it not ready, They had to make what I ordered because they were out of it. They sat on the order for 25MINUTES! Unbelievable

I was really disappointed for many reasons. U did an online order and requested a side of salsa. A friend at work ran to grab the food so I wasn’t able to check my order but by no surprise my salsa was not in the bag. To add to the disappointment my tacos were literally stacked on top off and inside of eachother. So the yummy goodness inside one taco is stuck to the outside of the other. To top off this terrible experience I ordered chips and queso. The cup was only half full. I wouldn’t pay extra for it if thats all you get.

I brought a group of 30 into this restaurant and it was towards the end of the day(about an hour before close). We were a group of wounded warriors and the staff and manager on duty were phenomenal! They were patient, attentive, respectful and worked extremely hard at the end of the day and their shift to get the job done. Can’t wait to go back!

I wasn’t going to write something but after discovering that a friend suffered the same fate, I now feel obligated to voice my experience.
First of all, the workers are just plain lazy. I was one of two people in the building, but it somehow took 15 minutes to make a burrito and a quesadilla. At first I thought the guy making my food was just new and learning the ropes, but then when another guy(who seemed to be the manager at the time) took over, I realized that he worked at a similarly slow pace. This qdobas fault comes simply from the laziness that possesses the employees at this particular Qdoba. Despite the fact that it took 15 complete my order, the food was horrible. The quesadilla was so short on cheese that they might as well have just put two tortillas on top of each other. Then there’s the burrito. Truly skimped! Might as well have gone to a soup kitchen where I could have at least received enough calories to survive. On top of that, the wrap job was so bad that when I unwrapped half the burrito it was already falling apart. I had to turn my burrito into a burrito bowl, effectively ruining my dinner. I seriously hate Qdoba now and can only hope that chipotle will some day take over the burrito business once and for all.

Now serving breakfast!!! If you have ever enjoyed a breakfast buritto from Qdoba when you went to college up north and have craved it ever since. Well now it has arrived in Denver, but just at this location. GOGETYASOME!

Everyone here is so nice, and the food is always fresh and amazing. This is my favorite qdoba location, and it has made me a qdoba fan hands-down over chipotle.

I was in the mood for a nice plump burrito with lots of sauces and lettuce. I like spicy so requested one of the spicier sauces. It was ok but not as satisying as I was hoping for. The help was friendly and I was pretty much to myself. That was fine. I needed quiet. It is convenient to work so one day I am sure I will go back.

Even if Chipotle didn’t exist, Qdoba still would NOT be in my ranks for #1 burrito place. What bothers me most? Hmm, so many possibilities. I would have to say what bothers me most is that Qdoba is so stingy with their ingredients and everything is an «add on» price. Oh you want two types of vegetables in your vegetarian burrito… they tell me its«extra.» Oh, so I have to pay for some eggplant to go along with my limp, cooked-hours-ago-fajita-peppers? Oh an you want a salsa on the side instead of mixed into the burrito, «that’s extra.» How about a little BBQ sauce… extra. It probably costs double to get a mixture of two sauces, I wouldn’t know because I didn’t ask and I won’t be returning to try and ask. Plus the staff is rude, rude, RUDE about it. P. S. Chipotle is not stingy or rude about their ingredients. What also bothers me about Qdoba is their lack of flavor. You have to smother the burrito with Queso or BBQ sauce for it to be flavorful. With Chipotle, every ingredient stand on its own and is packed full of flavor(their rice stands alone, their meat, etc.) Qdoba also has very poor vegetarian options. Like I said above they have fajita peppers, but it is extra for the eggplant. You get the free guacamole with the vegetarian entrees, but still. Chipotle has an amazing vegetarian option now, Sofritas — flavorful meat substitute made of tofu(and its amazing!). Service again was also rude, rushed, and incompetent. I ordered a naked bowl with a tortilla on the side. They forgot the tortilla and I had to remind them at check out. My friend ordered the nachos and when we got home, there were only about a dozen chips in the bag — not nearly enough for the nacho dip. What can you do with a bowl of cheese sauce if you have no chips? And how much do chips cost? Why so skimpy and cheap, Qdoba? Very very disappointing experience and I will not be giving Qdoba any more of my money.

This location has really improved over the last 6 months — which I give credit to the new manager. They used to goof up my order — but the new staff is accurate, pays attention and is friendly. The dining room is a bit small — so I recommend avoiding the lunch rush. Plus — the parking in this strip mall is a joke. I feel bad for all the businesses as it is almost impossible to fine a space. I have found parking in the back.

I have been to my share of Qdoba restaurants and this one was not one of the better ones. The portion sizes here were so much smaller than any other location I have been to. I thought I might be imagining the portion problem, but the guy behind me asked if they had a new policy that required them to cut back on portions. I got the take 2 menu and my soup filled the bowl to the half way line, that poor guy got a salad or something and his bowl was nearly empty! The people working were not overly friendly either.

The Qdoba off Yosemite is much better. Better service and better food.

Not sure how they stay in business. Faxed in an order on a Saturday, so they weren’t slammed with other orders.(It was their only faxed order for lunch.) Out of seven meals, they made mistakes on four. One person got tacos instead of taco salad. One person got their taco in a shell instead of on the side. One person was missing his«box lunch.» Another had the dressing on the salad instead of on the side. On top of this, it wasn’t ready when I went to pick it up. Fortunately, our office is between two Qdobas. We can go to the one on Yosemite instead of this one.

I used to avoid Qdoba locations, simply because I didn’t like the taste of their burritos. But since they’ve opened up their recent«Pick Two» menu, I’ve opened up my tastes to include their non-burrito items. THAT stuff I like… a lot. Grilled quesadillas, tacos, tortillas soup and the most excitement I’ve had at a quick-serve Mexican restaurant– The Three Cheese Nachos(IMO, so good that they now have«THE» in their name). This location seems to have friendly staff. I give them credit for not minding the wait while I do my usual, lingering, salsa selecting. I use scientific words like«gimme’ some of that corny stuff… annnnnd a lil’ bit of that green stuff», but they’re patient with me. I also get a kick out of the girl with the big hair-do, who’s usually there working the weekday lunch hours. My only knock on this place is that parking is a pain over the 11 – 2 lunch hours. Since this place is an easy jaunt for the south Tech Center/Inverness crew and the fact that there are three lunch spots sharing the same lot, it can be packed. Safest entry is probably via westbound Dry Creek. You can also enter via Alton Way, but that involves sneaking your car through a densely populated Amoco station.

Qdoba reigns #2 in the great burrito wars, finishing ahead of Illegal Pete’s, but a bit behind Chipotle. Qdoba is very, very like Chipotle, except for a more expansive menu and a little bit more emphasis on high calorie goods. They can match Chipotle burrito-for-burrito on the simple stuff, like chicken and beef burritos, though I find Qdoba’s rice to be a little less flavorful and the tortillas not springy and fresh tasting. But Qdoba really shines with their signature burritos, including the calorie bomb Queso burrito. A massive glob of chicken, beans and a wan four cheese sauce is wrapped into a tortilla, ready to but your artery in a clenching grip of extreme grease. Don’t get me wrong, it’s incredibly tasty, but I simply can’t do that to my body anymore. All of Qdoba’s signature burritos are good, such as the Poblano Pesto burrito, or the healthier of the crew, the steamed vegetable burrito. There are tacos too, though I haven’t tried these, and even the tortilla soup makes for a simple, spicy snack. Another two advantages over Chipotle — Qdoba offers Chalula sauce, and Qdoba offers limes and lemons, namely for making real lime coke. Nothing, NOTHING pairs better with a Queso Burrito than Lime-Coke. If you’ve got a large appetite and a slim waistline, Qdoba is a great, quick stop for a large portion of food.
