My late husband passed away from a car accident on Monday. I had read good reviews on Unilocal.I dealt with the director Patrick.

Our father wished to be cremated and have his ashes scattered. However, we also wanted to have a viewing and funeral service. After signing a contract with another funeral home, we switched to the Cremation Society of MD. They work with MacNabb Funeral Home and I cannot speak highly enough of them.
At a time when my siblings and I were stressed and emotional, the very calming voice of George MacNabb was there. At every step of the process Mr MacNabb and his staff were kind, respectful, understanding, and professional. Above all, Mr MacNabb was so patient with us as we squabbled amongst ourselves over the details of the funeral.
The cremation process was very clearly explained to us as well as what they could and couldn’t do. There was absolutely no upselling.
When someone you care about dies, worrying about how you will be treated as a consumer is the last thing anyone wants to think about. MacNabb Funeral Home makes this possible. We knew we were being treated with kindness and respect and that we were not being taken advantage of (we called a couple of different funeral homes and actually switched from a different funeral home to MacNabb). I cannot recommend them enough and am so grateful to George MacNabb and his staff.

Fabulous service at a difficult time. Very impressed with the low prices for cremation and copies of death certificates. Plus there was no upselling. Additionally, we bought keepsake urns on the internet and they filled them at no extra charge. We did not have a service locally for my mother, but for the final identification, mom’s face was beautiful. Thank you so much.

Hands down the best. I’ve talked to a dozen crematory/​funeral agencies around the Baltimore area and Cremation Society of Maryland was the only one who could answer all of my questions directly and who knew how to handle our funeral insurance. None of the other places knew what to do with our Funeral Directors Insurance Policy — remarkable. There was no selling up. Straight forward and gave me info that I hand’t realized I needed to know such as keeping the body at home for a viewing. Can’t do better than this place.
