El Ranchito Taco Shop

While traveling across California, I was told by my family members that this Mexican restaurant served really good food, my relatives being part Mexican eat here at this location twice a week on average.
So I went and ordered me some green chicken enchiladas, they were amazing the salsa verde was not too hot and the beans were delicious, can’t leave the Horchata behind it was heaven.
The place was very clean, fast service and great quality.
Definitely recommend this place for anyone traveling through Palm Springs and Cathedral City,
I will definitely come back to this little Mexican restaurant.

This place has been here forever and was a lot better back in the day! I personally wrote a review for this place… not sure what happened to it on Unilocal!!!
Anyway, it’s ok food. I like their nachos w/​shredded beef… order it w/​extra cheese and sour cream… no GMAC (it’s not fresh).
Their 4 rolled tacos platter is good too and folded shredded beef tacos are a good choice as well.
For a fast food taco shop, it’s ok but not Alberto’s from SD county

This is sometimes better than a sit down restaurant. For a quick bite and taco shop they are very good. Quick service, good food, yummy.

Hole in the wall. Seriously. Saw it from the gas station as I went to return the rental car at Palm Springs airport.
It was 10 am. Not traditionally taquitos time for yours trully. Ordered beef with no beans. The very nice lady at the register suggested a combo and I ordered it.
Good call, very nice lady at the register. The tacos and guacamole hit the spot. Good rice, crispy shells, great filling. There’s a «fixin’s bar» with hot and mild sauces, peppers, pickled carrots. Really good.
LOTS of traffic for 10 am. People from road crews speaking English. A bevy of crossing guards speaking Spanish. A couple of young toughs ordering take out, all smiles.
It’s cheap, good, filling and not hard to find. And my stomach was fine on a cross country flight home: a major selling point for the place.
Eat here. It’s good.

Visiting from LA, and we found this place on Unilocal … Great authentic flavors, will come back!

Awesome food, great prices, super clean and extremely great service! I highly recommend this for good mexican food!
