My boyfriend called in an order to go as we were on our way back to Castroville, they courteously took his order even after telling them we may be there a little after closing. When my boyfriend arrived, they had his order ready and even gave us a generous amount. We come here all the time and the customer service is great. Although most of the workers we have dealt with have been young, they are always very respectful and quick. THANKYOU so much guys, you didn’t have to wait for us after we arrived late, but you did so 5STARSFORYOUALL. KEEPITUP!

Well, I’m not quite sure why Bush’s Chicken is so great? Everything I’ve ever ordered at a Bush’s has been quite bland, and overpriced. I am a fan of gizzards, they DO give you a large portion, but the cream gravy is tasteless. Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve found Bill Miller’s Fried Chicken better, given the prices.

I used to live across the street in the apartments from Bush’s. There were evenings where I didn’t feel like cooking. I would go by Bush’s. There chicken strips where always delious. The service was always fast and courteous. My only compliant is about 80% of the time their fries were soggy. However, the quality of their chicken made up for it.

I don’t know what it is that makes Bush’s Chicken taste a little better than Churches but to me it does, nice size pieces, rolls are sweet and fresh, I’m not a French fry person, but fried okra great, gizzards, are really good. Others have said they are generous with their portions at times when I have ordered one serving of okra or gizzards, I wind up with a double batch.

Contrary to previous reviews, Bush’s chicken is not a well known franchise, but is growing in popularity. Alot of my friends enjoy the chicken. The pieces are generous and the fries are addicting. Don’t forget the rolls… you’ll like those.
