I’ve used Mrs. Yong’s services 3 times this year. My first time I had an emergency suit situation where I needed an alteration on a jacket and pants done right away. She told me it would be tough, but she sensed my urgency and took on the challenge. She did an excellent job and finished in 4 hours time. Most places won’t ever take on emergency demand alterations like she did, but she did it not only on time but cut and altered perfectly to my body.
I’ve also gone into get some of my designer jeans tapered and Mrs. Yong did a perfect job on each one them. The best part about her service is her price. I’m always shocked by the total invoice when I receive it because it’s a surprisingly low compared to other tailors.
This will definitely be my go to spot for all my tailor needs.

We have been having our clothes altered at Young Tailor for years. I really appreciate the courtesy, workmanship and professionalism. She has always done an outstanding job in whatever we have brought in over the years.

When I first walked in I was overwhelmed by the smell of moth balls. I went ahead and left my two pairs of slacks for alteration. Both were hemmed as expected however my clothes smelled awful! I had to use Febreeze and that didn’t help. Ultimately I had to take them to the dry cleaners before I could wear them. I will not be using Young Tailors again.

This is the first time I’ve ever had anything tailored and this woman was fantastic! Her work is very high quality, it looked like it came that way from the factory. I brought in a suit jacket and pants for a couple adjustments and they were done very fast and the price was excellent as well. There are plenty of options for tailors in the area, but I will be bringing this establishment all of my future business.

In an area where businesses constantly shutter their doors, Young Tailor is the only business that has successfully stayed open for 10+ years. Mrs. Young owns the store and is the only tailor I trust with my clothes. For almost 10 years, I have brought pants, shirts, and suits to be tailored to the store, and Mrs. Young has adjusted my clothes perfectly every single time. Not only is Mrs. Young a skillful tailor, she also charges a very cheap price for her work. I have taken my clothes to the supposedly «best tailor» in Dallas, Unique Tailor, and they do not come anywhere close to the quality Mrs. Young maintains.
If you need any clothes tailored, Young Tailor should be your only choice.

This tailor shop is right around the corner from our home so I thought I’d try it. I took in a formal gown to be hemmed. It has four layers including the petticoat. Ms. Young is sooo nice. I liked her immediately. She suggested a length (which happened to be the one I wanted too) and then pinned it up to show me. She promised to have it done within a week and didn’t charge me extra for the short notice. My total was $ 40 dollars. While I was in there a guy brought in a suit coat to be taken in and she quoted him $ 25 to be ready in 3 days. So… yes…I would go here again. Price is good, fast work, super nice person, and close to home. A+++
