Took a chance on this place a few months back and really enjoyed it. Now come and eat here about once a week. They give you enough good to feel you up and at a good price. Its authentic hispanic food. My wife is very picky when it comes to finding a place that makes menudo the way she likes it and this place doesn’t disappoint on the menudo.

Great place! They make tacos exactly how I like ‘em: corn tortilla, diced raw onion, cilantro. Less than 2 bucks per. Sweet and courteous lady at the counter, restaurant looks fine. I’ll definitely be back, these things are addicting.

I am a Texican. I have been eating tacos my entire life. These ladies serve some of the best we have to offer. 6 El Pastor. Salsa Verde. Mexican Coke. Don’t mess it up now. Do just like I said. I was in here non-stop with my last pregnancy and I’m sure they thought it was my pregnancy cravings. But the reality is, it was my partner who is just as addicted as I am.

I got the carnitas, and it was fantastic. Nice and juicy, very tender, without any large chunks of fat, and very well seasoned. I would definately return here.

Good food & amazing service which you don’t usually get nowadays. Ask for Rosalba. The sweetest lady & even let me sample different agua frescas & their cheesecake. I’m definitely coming back again.

Stopped by today not because I wanted to, but because the wife had a taste for some tacos and this was the closest place on the way home. When I pulled up something told me not to go in, and the fact that the place was completely empty should’ve confirmed my gut feeling, but in I went. The place smelled a bit funky, but I went ahead and ordered. I specifically asked the guy at the counter if they had flour tortillas and he said yes. Again, when he was taking my order I stated clearly that I wanted flour tortillas to which he said«yes sir». Low and behold, I get home, open my containers and what’s missing… flour tortillas. Tacos are over priced, under seasoned, and just not that good. Avoid this place like the plague, praying I don’t get food poisoning because like I said, the place wreaked of something… I don’t know what, when I walked in.

This place was good but since we review a lot of taquerias it doesn’t reach the top of our reviews comparatively. The bistec tacos were a bit dry and bland. The al pastor were better than the steak but not«blow your hair back» good. I did like the rice and beans and they remembered all the details for our to-go order… little limes, several kinds of salsas etc. Check-in here gets a free agua fresca. I tried the piña and it was actually really good. I don’t normally drink sugary beverages but I would consider that one again. There was a slight language barrier over the phone when placing the order but I’m okay with that… cause for me it validates authentic food!

Came here on a whim, Unilocaled the word ‘food’ while I was in the area and this was on the list. Decided to give it a shot since everybody had such positive reviews and I wasn’t disappointed. The tacos are to DIEFOR, so serious. The pastor tacos are seasoned to perfection and of course since my tastebuds are dead from the years of abuse I made sure they added fresh jalapeños to give it the extra kick so I could feel something again. The lady behind the counter was so sweet, customer service on point. I’m already thinking about going again.

Located next to my favorite sign store, I came here for a light lunch. Wow, their lunch is huge, tasty, and served with a friendly smile. I had 2 Chicken Flautas, one enchilada with beans & rice. The Flautas were super tasty. I will come back with friends to enjoy another lunch.

This is a little whole in the wall place. We almost missed it. But we were so glad we found it. We had the taco plate for $ 7 each. Barbacoa was my favorite. So flavorful. We tried chicken, barbacoa, chorizo, chicken, and a pork. The food was surpringly very delicious and authentic. You know its a real mexican place when they have pork tongue on the menu. I would definitely come back.

This place is awesome!!! Very authentic food and atmosphere. Today was my first time trying this place out and I picked up four orders for my work. We ordered here because the prices were good and the food looked very appetizing on the website. The food was ready too quick for me to get there but everything was still very warm and delicious. The staff was so friendly I was actually taken aback. I was having a pretty awful day but the woman who greeted me was so nice and welcoming that it felt like my whole day melted off of me. The cashier was very nice too. I will definitely be going to this place again and encourage everyone at work to order here for lunch.

New name; El Patroncito — It’s under new management but food is basically the same. Tacos, tortas, and Mexican drinks. Prices are good. Parking is good. They bring flatware, chili sauces and napkins to ypur table. They are not readily available, which is ok to me. Less opportunity for someone to stick their germs all over the place. :)

We hired this location to cater our party. The food was amazing, and all guests really enjoyed it. One of our guests liked it so much he hired them for his party. I will definitely use them to cater again.

Great place, had pozole this morning, wonderful! Tacos are great, nice little place, wish they were open for breakfast tacos on the weekdays, have grown to dislike Taco Cabana. Only one suggestion, corn tortillas were store bought, wish they were more like homemade.

These tacos are awesome! So awesome, in fact, that they are now a regular staple in my diet. The chorizo and carnitas are my favorite, but chicken and bistec are great, too. They are served with raw onions and cilantro, I always tell them to go easy on that and to please grill my onions. One time they charged me for that, they seem to like to tack on extra charges, but I don’t mind because it’s delicious! I get my tacos«white girl style» as I call it, with flour tortillas and cheese, and of course with the onions grilled. The tacos are bigger when you order flour tortillas, but they also charge extra for that. I haven’t had anything here besides tacos, but everything looks really amazing. The ladies working there are very friendly and they have lots of Mexican snacks for sale, too. There is a small dining area with a tv that is usually playing telenovelas(Spanish soap operas). They have ten locations, so find the one nearest you and check it out!

I do not like re-fried beans from a can But the homemade beans at La Paloma, I am a fan!(Sam I am) I’ve never really liked re-fried beans until I tasted the freshly homemade beans at La Paloma, which accompanied some seriously tasty tacos. At $ 1.50 an order, these tacos are exemplary of a good Mexican street taco — only 3 to 4 perfect bites, but packing major flavor from the generously portioned proteins, chopped onions, chopped cilantro and a squeeze of lime. Gringo friendly proteins such as shredded pork, chicken, and beef sit along side the choicer cuts such as lengua(easily my favorite here), chorizo and tripas. Homemade salsa, complimentary fresh radishes, suitably dive-y atmosphere, and service with a smile round out the experience. Carrollton may be a bit off the beaten path, but this food is nothing short of superior to the greasy, soulless Tex Mex stodge found in most of the city. So grab a cold Jarritos soda and saddle up to some authentic and tasty Mexican food at La Paloma. In short, I would eat these tacos with a fox. I would eat these tacos in a box. Leave Taco Bell and Blue Mesa for the cretin flocks. (Sam I am)
