So many great food experiences on their menu. They do have Tex-Mex for the less adventurous. Wonderful pickled cabbage was good on everything. Nothing too spicy unless you want it that way. Jalapeño and Pulled-pork Papusas on thick fresh tortas had a mild, tasty heat, but the pickled cabbage and extra-spicy verde sauce brought it up just right. Chicharrons(pork belly) were cooked perfect for me(I don’t like when they’re left gelatinous) along with the bistec asada with a fried egg. Definitely going back to make my way through their menu. Especially when it finally cools off a bit, going back for their soups and their Atol de Elote … Yes! «elote» like the street corn, but pureed with spices as a hot drink! Of course, they also have Horchata. Great staff and owner! I’ll add pics next time to!

We stopped by this place with a large group of us on a last minute decision. We were warmly welcomed by the owner/manager, and given excellent service. The food was great! They have a nice selection of Salvadorian meals, along with some Mexican and American choices. We will definitely go again.

I guess the food in this place requires a special background to like. For me it was disappointing with health concerns thereafter.

Authentic Salvadoran Cuisine(El Salvador). I give this restaurant a «5» on food taste and authenticity. When I was there last(the same day Spain won the world cup) I had the«Mariscada», which is a creamy seafood soup. It was awesome. The taste and quality of the soup brought me back to El Salvador in that it was very similar to what you get there. I also had«pupusas» and they are very well made… probably as good as they get in the Dallas area. I have also had their«Yuca con Chicharron»(Fried yucca/cassava and bacon chunks) and their«platanos con crema»(sweet fried plantains with crème) which were both delicious. Consensus from people I know here in Dallas is that the«other» restaurants near here are not up to par. They also serve«Kolashampan» soda, which is a favorite in El Salvador. They also have an extensive beer selection. If you are looking for authentic Salvadoran cuisine in the Dallas area, this is your place.
