This place has gone down since the new owner took over. I brought an item in to be packed. He brought it in the back and came back with a box 48×15×15. Actually, the size wasn’t bad but he charged me $ 36.44 for the box and $ 5.79 for his effort. The UPS hub in Addison charges $ 15.99 for the same box! Am I to assume he used about $ 20 in bubble wrap? They are close to home but I will drive out of my way to go ANYWHERE but there. This new owner is rude and a thief.

I came in 6 days before my daughter’s birthday to mail a box — with gifts from me and her sisters to go to Oakland. Was told it would be there on her b’day. It got there at 7 pm that night — and she had gone out to dinner. They rescheduled delivery for the next day and never showed. The THIRD day… she gets the box — which was dumped by her door and DIDNOTREQUIRESIGNATURE, apparently. So why didn’t they drop it on her birthday to save us a lot of grief? THEYRUINEDHERBIRTHDAY and I had to pay 38.00 to deliver a box with 2 sweaters and gift cards. THIRTYEIGHTDOLLARS? I called the store to ask WHERE this box was the 2nd day and was told he’d call me back. Never heard from him. I don’t hold him entirely responsible for this snafu but surely didn’t follow up with me. I will NEVER use this facility again. Nice enough guy but not the customer service I expected. How do you put a price on a ruined birthday? I did not say a signature was required. he had no contents of the box listed on the receipt. NOR did he have a value. Thank God that box didn’t disappear as who knows what I would have been compensated for. Very unprofessional.

I called this store to ask for a quote to ship a small package to see if they could compete with the PO’s flat rate, medium sized box rate. I got«Pat» on the phone — impatient, condescending, curt — who told me I was calling a local store not corporate, and she would need box dimensions, weight & zip code before giving me a quote, AND they«don’t compete w/the post office.» I replied that I had done business there before and the store owner always tried to give me a better deal than what the PO offered me for my mailings, even if they were simply large envelopes w/print media going out to hundreds. I told this lady that I wasn’t going to bother now since she wasn’t friendly and seemingly uninterested in my business(in the meantime she had actually come up w/a quote for me), and she raised her voice a little more saying she was indeed friendly, etc., etc. When she was through, I told her it was sad that her standard for friendliness was so low. After I hung up, I looked through my stack of local business cards because I wanted to tell the store owner– who I knew– directly about Pat by calling him, not writing a review. Turns out I had called a different store than what I thought! I guess it was«meant-to-be» that I called this particular store by mistake, got Pat, and write this review.

I mentioned it in a tip but the previous owner was evicted and a new owner has taken over. They re– opened as a full print shop now. I was dropping off some packages and the lady behind the counter was very nice and friendly. She even took a minute to pull out a full box of lollipops so that my tot could pick one. That was a nice gesture. I feel like they deserve a fresh start.

This place has my package and has been closed for 3 days now! WTF — how do I get my stuff? They signed for my package then closed their doors? I am now out a replacement tablet that is sitting somewhere in their store. UPS won’t help me because the store owner signed for it? How can this be? Any help???

I made a special trip there today with everything I needed — or so I thought. When it came time to seal the envelope with a 4″ piece of tape I was told there was a «Taping-charge» — UNREAL!!! So since this was a ‘return to a merchant’ I declined and am now going to have UPS make a special trip themselves — just to pick it up.
