Great place! Sooo much amazing food, great selection, Busy, but the wait went quickly. Great service, nice family-owned/run restaurant!

I always try to give this place the benefit of the doubt, even though I almost always never come out satisfied. I’ve learned that stylists here just cannot be trusted. I needed a trim on my hair which was down past my shoulders. Just a trim, maybe an inch or two. I had a coupon, so why not? What’s the worst that can happen? I went in on a Monday evening and only two stylists were working, which made the wait slow to begin with. I waited at least a half hour before being seated. A man also came in after me, but was seen before me because he «checked in» online, whereas I had not. Kind of ridiculous. Anyway, Dominique’s chair was finally open. Like I said, my hair was past my shoulders and I needed a trim. My hair was in a bob shape, so she made it even with the back… that took a good 2 – 3 inches off of the front. Now, it’s chin length. Chin length.(Any woman knows that is way too much.) She then asked if I wanted layers. I did want some texture, and made the mistake of saying, «yes.» She went absolutely nuts with them and went super short! My jaw literally dropped at how much she was cutting off. She didn’t part my hair to the side until she was done! The back also looked terrible; I felt like I had a mullet. Since it was already cut, though, what was I to do? The next day, I went to a Hair Cuttery to get this fixed. I would have gone back to Great Clips to demand a re-do, but I honestly am afraid to have any of them put scissors near my hair again. At Hair Cuttery, the stylist pointed out all the«holes» and unevenness. My hair was a good ½ inch longer on one side. She evened it out and made it look good. I’m just disappointed that my hair was cut so short to begin with when I’m trying to grow it out. Bottom line, I ended up paying what I would at a good salon to get my hair cut and then fixed. If you’re trying to save money, you’re better off going to a place that knows what they are doing and spending a little more. It will be worth it! I would not recommend this place at all. Be warned.

I’ll admit it: I am probably the only girl in the world who could care less about her hair. It’s thick. It’s wavy, and there’s tight spiral curls underneath in random parts. It’s frizzy. There’s some gray hairs here and there. I hate the color, the texture, etc. Basically, I hate it all. I’d pull a Britney on it, but the bf would kill me(«Don’t cut your hair! I like it long!» he says). So, I’m obviously not the best at remembering to trim it. I have a boring cut, with some layers. Nothing special, nothing worth going to a salon for. Great Clips is my go-to, just to «clean it up» every 4 months or so. For $ 14, it suits my cheap arse just fine. After trying to remember when I last had a trim and couldn’t quite figure it out, I came to the conclusion it was time to walk right in and sit right down. Well, I walked right in and didn’t even have time to sit down. Lydia took me right away. She was young and didn’t talk much. Fine with me, I really don’t like making chit chat. Just cut my hair and send me on my way is how I like it. She did mention that I had«great hair»(I get that a lot… but I usually just shrug it off because I don’t think so) and I said how I despised it because it’s so dry. She mentioned to use a hydrating shampoo. Guess I’ll give that a shot. I usually just buy the biggest bottle of Tresemme. I’m not shampoo educated. She asked if I wanted everything trimmed and I said«Yes, but I want the layers more obvious.» She said«You have layers?» Yeah, you can barely tell. I told her that everytime I get my hair cut, I want the layers to stand out but I guess every stylist wants to blend my layers in with my hair. Lydia listened. She not only«cleaned up» the split ends, but you can definitely see my layers now. Granted, my hair feels so much shorter, but I’m sure it’s just me and the bf probably won’t even notice. Thanks Lydia for giving me exactly what I wanted and for the outstanding haircut. I have to say, this is the first time I walked out of Great Clips actually feeling GREAT, and not just checking off another item on my «to do» list.

Very friendly stylists — unhurried but efficient! Received a great cut, on par with the more upscale salon I usually go to. Store was very clean and comfortable. Arrived early and the morning and there was no wait. I will definitely be returning!

Nice staff, lucked into a short wait and a 50% or so special. Decent work, but certainly not the most attentive hair cut I’ve ever had. A shaved neck after a cut is pretty much essential, but they don’t appear to offer that here. Good for a quick cut at the last minute on a Sunday, but probably won’t be my primary spot to get clipped once I find a barbershop I like.

We are always pleased with the haircuts we get here. Nearly all the stylists do a great cut on my girls and the wait time is not unreasonable. One of the best stylists there is Mary. She does a fantastic job

I like this location. If you get there when they open there’s no wait. I don’t go to fancy salons to get my hair cut because I just don’t want to spend $ 35+ when to me it’s no better than the results I get here. My stylist today, Liz, was a pleasure to deal with. I usually don’t care for the small talk but she was fun to talk to and of course I am happy with my $ 10(w/coupon) cut. ;)

I frequented this location quite a bit until a stylist went to cut my son’s hair and her scissors still had someone’s else’s hair on them! That’s probably because this place is always busy and the stylists are moving very quickly to keep up the pace. So if you want a cheap and fast haircut(and aren’t too worried about cleanliness) this is the place for you. This is a walk in place, no appointments taken. The waiting area is ok, the magazines are pretty old and they have a few toys for the kids, but they are pretty dirty. They used to have a TV with a VCR, but I haven’t seen it around. So if you have to wait with kids, bring your own entertainment. There are 6 stylists stations although I’ve never seen more than 4 there and you can usually get a coupon off the back of a receipt from Dominick’s which is in the same strip mall. The best time of the day to go is in the early afternoon. When they open they only have 2 stylists working and they get busy from 10 – 1.
