This is a decent shop but it’s one of those that you have to rummage through the crap to find the treasures. But they have a little of everything in here. My friend found some nice jewelry for 75% off. Also, I noticed a girl trying on prom dresses in the back but I didn’t go in further enough into the store to see any selection. The ladies who work here are also super nice.

We had been past this shop several times, but always when it was not open. It looked interesting and we spied a few things worthy of further investigation… and finally! during the autumn gallery walk, we were able to enter. Let me first say that this place is much larger than it appears to be from the street. It sort of winds its way toward the back of the building. There are many treasures here if you look carefully. I wouldn’t call this an antique shop though you can find some vintage goodies here. Really, there’s a little bit of everything. We found a Kwan Yin statue that we had noticed weeks earlier during one of strolls along Main Street. It was in perfect condition white porcelain without a single chip or blemish. We quickly snatched it up and were later told that it had been purchased out of an estate sale and had been only one of many such collectibles… would have loved to see the remainder! Our other purchases in this quaint little shop included an antique brass abacus, a vintage dragonfly brooch and a Moroccan brass dish with red and green enamel inlay. These finds, altogether, set us back less than $ 100 — not too bad, we decided. We also loved the ladies who waited on us here — you could really tell they were having a great time and their customer service was excellent. I can tell we will be back often to sift through the treasures at Accent Details.
