I have been looking for a good barber shop FOREVER. I have driven by Ron’s shop hundreds of times and have no idea why i never stopped in. I finally went in today and was blown away by the quality of service and the price. He did my hair AND my beard for $ 12!!! Great conversation, excellent proprietor and right down the street from my house., I will never go anywhere else for a trim. THANKS RON!

Good old-​fashioned haircuts at good-​old fashioned prices! I challenge you to find another barber shop or hair salon that provides a good men’s haircut for $ 15 and $ 9 for boys! Ron is a Carlsbad Village institution having lived here for more than 30 years with his wife and kids. Now, a grandfather, the jovial and friendly patriarch caters to his regular customers, clipping hair and giving close shaves (old school style with a sharp blade!). Saturdays are his busiest. He’s closed Tuesdays. I usually take my boys on Thursday after school so they can go home and shower. Sandwiched between El Portal, the best Mexican food, by the way!) and the old clock shop in the Poinsettia center mini strip mall. Go and see Ron. Tell him Aidan, his youngest customer, referred you!
