Went here on a Sat. which means, it’s a busy day. Having said that, you’d think they would have enough staff to clean things. We had to wipe down our own table and it wasn’t until we were done, that a staff asked if they could wipe it down. We said we already did it, and looked at the dirty rag they were going to use to «wipe down» our table. Really? A dirty rag! The bathrooms were even worse. Paper towels everywhere and the light was so dim. It looked like there was a main light on the ceiling, but it was lighted. The only light was the one over the sink. The food selection: they really need to improve on this. Not enough selection. And the taste was lacking. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all! Save yourself the trouble of having to find parking at this place and grab your Chinese food fix elsewhere.

Your average panda plus great customer service. I always enjoy panda and the portions you get. The ladies working here greeted everyone walking in & said goodbye as you left. The store was nice and clean and nothing looked old and soggy like you sometimes encounter at other locations. I do wish they weren’t so stingy with the soy sauce! 4 packets with 3 entrees doesn’t spread out so well.

I am no fan of American Chinese food, but this restaurant is different. The dishes are surprisingly good which moves me to give this restaurant 5 stars. Let me make it clear, I give 5 stars specifically to this particular Panda Express restaurant, NOT for any other Panda Express.

I had to write a review for the great service that I received. I ordered from here for catering a company’s lunch. I originally ordered the food online the day before, and realized that we needed a couple extra party trays. I called right away and was helped by the manager Miguel. He was friendly, and made sure that I had everything in my order. When I went to pick up the order, I ordered a couple more party trays. Even though it was ordered the very last minute, Miguel made sure that I got it within 5 – 10 minutes. Cashier also gave me a free drink for waiting. They helped me with the 6 bags(10 trays) of food into my car. Quick and easy ordering, fast and friendly service! Thank you, Miguel and his team!

Good option for lunch/dinner while shopping at the Carlsbad outlet. We typically get two orders of the two entrée for two adults and two kids to share making a cheap lunch/dinner under $ 20. We typically get it as takeout but eat it at the restaurant. With takeout, you get more food with the containers. The place does get crowded on the weekends. I am giving ideally 3.5 stars base on a chain restaurant offering decent food at good price and menu items that fits the whole family without breaking the wallet.

Typical meal for this chain, but they had much larger servings then the stores in my area, for that I am very grateful.

I eat here all the time during my breaks from work. They offer a mall employee discount which is great! The staff is awesome, especially Zulema — she’s always super friendly and laughs with the customers. This place has really worked on upping it’s customers service and it certainly shows!

America’s favorite faux Chinese fast food restaurant serves it to the masses. Messy, crowded and mediocre as usual.

Just picked up two lunches there. First fork of rice in both had two to five long hairs. Besides the dry heaves, its a great place for losing weight!!! Never eat there again!!!

Stopped in here last weekend for a quick lunch before leaving the Outlets. Very friendly service, and good food! The Shanghai Steak was good, as well as the Orange Chicken. I ordered half chow mein and half brown rice, which is a nice option to have. I dont go to the Outlets often but when I do, I will stop in here again!

Here is a reason why I’m writing a review about this place. The sugar! I was looking for sugar for my iced tea… I couldn’t find any regular sugar, only sweet n low(pink) so I asked one of the staff, and he told me they don’t hv it anymore, because they are cutting on cost. What??? Are you serious? That sweet n low is not even healthy, its better the regular one… R u trying to kill your customers and tourist slowly? Bring back the regular sugar!!! C’mon! Doesn’t make sense at all… But the positive thing, their foods is good…

Where do I begin!!! Let me say first off DONOTGOHERE! It was a terrible trip. Tried to grab some quick food while traveling through to San Diego. If I could rate with no stars I totally would. Line out the door, unorganized staff with no leadership, & the food tasted like it had been sitting there all day. The freshly made food that I did get tasted horrible because it was made so fast, and after requesting to refill the ice machine, the manager proceeded to tell me, «we are too busy to fill the ice.» It was very evident that the manager has been«too busy» to keep her store in order. Save yourself the trouble and the time and go somewhere else.

I came here on rainy weekday for lunch. I was still surprised how busy it was. The employees are friendly. I was offered to sample something but I declined since I already had me mind set for half chow mein, half fried rice, orange chicken, and chicken egg rolls. I was lucky to find a seat inside this place. There is seating outside. I overheard a customer saying he came from China and the guy who served me spoke to him in Chinese. Overall, a good experience.

I had eaten once at Panda Express and enjoyed it the first time so thought it would be a safe bet the second time and I wasn’t disappointed. The price is reasonable for the amount of food you get. I picked the fried rice, eggplant and tofu, and orange chicken for $ 7. I chicken were large pieces and not just all batter. The eggplant and tofu dish was a little oily but good. The rice was decent as well. It was a satifying meal and I wasn’t able to finish it so it was also great heated up the next day.

I accidentally dropped my tray of food at the soda station right after paying. I cleaned it all off the floor myself and the manager still made me pay ½ for replacement food. Terrible customer service.

The people are so friendly at this location — overworked & underpayed, and still offering smiles and free tasters… it is truly appreciated! The food here seems to be consistently fresh — I often wait a minute or two because my Eggplant Tofu is being stirred in the wok. It’s kind of neat to see your food being cooked openly in a fast food chain — the ingredients are fresh — as far as I can see! It tastes good… Panda is kind of addictive.

Pros: Food wasn’t bad and plentiful on each plate. The service was pretty good also. Cons: Packed, not enough seating, cheap outdoor seats that were broken and had some pointy stuff sticking out of one of the chairs. A/C turned off indoors? Chain Chinese food before a day of shopping at the Outlets. It was ok. Nothing to write home about. The outdoor seating was cool though. When the sun’s out and it’s warm, sit outside. The A/C inside was either broken or off this past weekend and inside was really hot. ONEQUESTIONS: When you tie up your dog to a chair at a table outside, does that mean you’ve already reserved that table under the umbrella outside???

Mom and I came here after a Coach trip. We were heading to Ruby’s, but we were so famished that we stopped at Panda for something«quick». The service was great, and they offered samples. Luckily it wasn’t busy so the food was fresher and crunchier. The establishment was clean and tidy. Ended up splitting the 3 item combo with side and a drink for about $ 12. Kind of pricey, but it was for the both of us. Got half chow mein/white rice, orange chicken, chicken with green beans, and honey walnut shrimp. Not the best Chinese, but at the time, we wanted something quick and we demolished it.

What’s up with the chow mein here? it’s like someone stepped on the bag of noodles before cooking it cause ALL of ours were in 1 inch long pieces. I understand that this place is in a mall and the good doesn’t have to meet any standards but come on. so I guess the best thing here was the fortune cookie. What I’m saying is I’d rather go to Ruby’s at least I know their orange 50⁄50 shake is not going to disappoint.
