I had such a great experience with Michelle! My hair had darkened over the past few years and Michelle did a great job lightening it up perfectly. It looks natural and bright. So ready for summer! My cut is great as well. Can’t wait to see her again.

Michelle is the BEST! She is friendly, welcoming & fast with whatever service you are getting. The worst feeling is having to sit in a salon all day long for your service, this is NOT the case with Michelle at Do or Die! I had a color, tape in extensions, cut & style all in great time. I never felt that she rushed or cut corners or just wanted me in & out. She is a natural pro. Very educated & has lots of experience. Michelle is going to be my hairstyles from now on. & a added bonuses her salon is right by the Carlsbad mall so you can always go shopping after you get your hair on Fleek

It is hard to find a stylist when you are new in town. Michelle is awesome. Went in for a haircut and started talking tape in extension for volume… walked out with a great haircut and tape in extensions, which I love. She has since done color and hi lights. She will always try and get you in for anything. Her blowouts are the best. Great prices, very friendly, I would highly recommend her for all your hair care needs!

Michelle is truly the best hair stylist you could ever ask for! She can attest to this: I don’t let any other stylist even touch my extensions except for her. This being said, I see her weekly if not more than once a week. She always makes herself available and makes her clients a priority. She is so sweet, easy to talk to, and does everything she can to make her clients satisfied! Her blowouts, styles, cuts, color, and work with extensions are amazing. She is always excited to try new things which is awesome. I would recommend Michelle 100%!

Michelle is simply fab! She does incredible up-do’s and just as amazing cuts and color. I had been floating from stylist to stylist for a year or two before I found Michelle. She’s a gem and I’ll continue to have her do my hair. She pays attention to what you want and seems to get the ‘vision’ better than so many stylists I’ve been to.

I haven’t even had my hair put in yet but already love her. I have a stupid busy schedule. She overnighted the hair so I can get done before the end of week and made an appointment to work around my job. Love it.

So, I have never needed extensions as I have long hair myself, but I really really wanted more fullness so I was referred to Michelle for tape-​in extensions… I LOVE THEM! I could never imagine taking out my extensions and Michelle is absolutely amazing. She really knows what she is doing and my extensions have been flawless for over two months now. I go to her every 6 – 8 weeks to have them moved up, but the whole process is so quick and easy. She also cuts my hair for me, I am very happy with my haircut as well. Go to Michelle for tape-in’s! You’ll love them.

Michelle is fast, detailed and very helpful in figuring out what you want/​need in a hairstyle. I’ve gotten several haircuts from her and have enjoyed all of them. Also, I love being able to go early in the morning before work!

Having just recently moved to Carlsbad, I was worried about finding the right person to highlight my hair. My experience with Michelle was 100% on point since I called to make the appointment. Michelle was very accommodating with her appointment times and I was thrilled with the result from my appointment. I am in love with my new look. I will definitely be going back to Michelle!

I moved to San Diego over a year ago and have yet to find my ‘go to hair stylist’ until I met Michelle! I work everyday all day so luckily I was able to make a 6:30AM Monday morning appointment! She was amazing! She did my ombré and was extremely nice! Best find on Unilocal so far!

Michelle was so awesome and definitely easy to talk to. My hair came out AWESOME! I absolutely love it! I had mixed feelings about going too light but she found a middle ground for me. I definitely plan on going back if I need anymore work done to my hair.

I went to Michelle for a color correction. I had been dying my hair with black box color and wanted to go lighter. I knew it would be a process and most likely would take more than one appointment, it took two. The first was on a Wednesday and she got me in Friday to finish and it was well worth it! she took the time to explain each step of the process to assure we were going for the color I wanted. She asked me to show a picture of my favorite hair color I’ve had, which I’ve never been asked by a stylist to do! I love my color and will continue to see her in the future. Her salon is super cute and relaxed. I like that it’s only one chair, instead of having to listen to everything going on in a salon.

Loved my visit at do or dye! As soon as I got in Michelle Immediately offered me a mimosa (thank god I had been waiting for drink all day.) Her salon is clean, comfortable, and well decorated.
She dyed my hair and gave me a fresh cut but most importantly she made me feel more confident and stylish as your monthly hair cut always should.

I made an appointment with Michelle to have my hair trimmed and ombré touched up. I have such thick coarse hair that it’s been tough to find a stylist who knows how to handle all of the volume and texture. Michelle was great! We emailed prior to my appointment so she had an idea of what color I wanted to achieve, and when I sat down in her chair she had photos saved of similar looks to what I had in mind. Her prices are very reasonable and her salon is adorable and clean. She’s friendly and easy to talk to and I felt totally at ease. I love how my hair turned out, and I’ve already booked my next appointment to come back!

For months I considered hair extensions but never followed through because of cost and concern that it would not look natural once done.
When I saw a Groupon with Do or Dye, I decided to schedule a consultation.
Michelle is fantastic. She answered all of my questions and put me at ease! Her personal space which is located within Sola Salon Studios in Carlsbad is clean and private.
During my appointment, Michelle made sure her time was dedicated to me without distraction. I walked in with short hair and walked out with luxurious long hair (much shorter appointment time than I expected — she had the extensions on within 45 minutes!!!). I have had the extensions for about a week and still love them as much as I did the day she put them on.
Michelle and I have text messaged a few times within the last week. She really cares about her clients and makes it a point to make sure they are happy with her services.

This amazing stylist saved my hair! She spent almost 8 hours color correcting my hair! She was so patient and friendly throughout the whole thing! My hair is a natural dirty blonde and it was at a very dark brown (almost black), the black seemed like it wasn’t going to fade but she did it! she got my back to my natural color (: I was so happy! i highly recommend do or dye, friendly service and very reasonably priced!
