I know I’m the one going totally against the grain here, but Bebo and his facility seem to think it’s a 4-star world class place and it’s far from it! Far far from it! I stayed here on the coffee farm, which was heavily reviewed on how wonderful and cozy it was. I really wish he had posted more photos because that would changed the perspective entirely! 1. None tells you you’re sharing a bathroom and that the toilet and shower are separate and way the hell down a long hall outside. Oh and shower is a complete joke! It’s literally an unfinished room, with one hanging light in a dingy back room. 2. Our room was right next to the house. Waking up at 6am to people milling around on the porch and talking loudly made for zero privacy and relaxation. If I’m on vacation, I do it to get away from the noise of other people. 3. No locks on the room door or bathroom. That was a HUGE warning sign right there. Being that this a working farm, there’s always some random person sitting at the table or visitors milling about. My suitcase is large so I couldn’t take it with me in the car. 4. Hope you like waking up early, the front porch serves as the main hub of all things. They tend to cook outside lots, so you’ll end up with lots of wafting smells of meat ending up in your room. –oh and don’t plan to sleep in at all here! 5. Bebo nice and all, and you get free banana bread and his«world famous coffee». That’s the only slim perk. 6. If you don’t believe my review above you’ll believe the photos I’ll be posting of the dump. I’ll admit I’m more of a amenities type of gal. But consider spending $ 70+ per night at this place and it’ll make you rethink it.

This is an awesome little spot. We just rolled in on a Wednesday, we tried some coffee and Bebo walked us around and talked to us. I was just really chill. It’s not that informative for you coffee nerds but its a good look at how the little farms in Kona are run. Good Coffee Cool People Chill Tour

My husband and I booked a room with Bebo via airbnb and stayed a few days in September. We were able to get a sense of the real Hawaii and how the locals lived thanks to Bebo and his wife, Karen. We learned all about sustainable farming and the history of the farm and the Captain Cook area from Bebo. Their cool dog Prometheus(Prossie) has a heart as big as his bark and their cat Buddy is very sweet. My favorite part was getting up in the morning to have several cups of their delicious Kona coffee thanks to Karen who made sure to have a fresh pot on hand for their guests. I also got to pick fresh fruit which included oranges, limes, papayas, avocados and bananas. Their home is quiet, clean and comfortable with a great view of the ocean. We were lucky to hang out with Bebo and Karen which included joining them and some of their farm colleagues for dinner at the beach(only a few minutes away) to watch the gorgeous sunset. My husband and I can’t wait to stay with them again.

Like the previous reviewer, we also booked with them via airbnb. We were in Hawaii this past March and trying to «do» as much of the island as time permitted. We ended up at Bebo’s for just a couple nights at the end of our trip and loved it. The view from the farm was amazing and our room was very cozy. The coffee was great and they left complimentary chocolate-covered macadamia nuts in our room that were amazing! Bebo and his wife were so warm and welcoming. I regret that we couldn’t have stayed with them longer and taken a tour of their coffee farm. My fiancé is in love with the Big Island so we’ll absolutely go back. And when we do, we’ll definitely book with Bebo again. Mahalo!

i honestly can’t say enough glowing things bebo’s coffee farm. first and foremost, it’s the best coffee i’ve ever had. true kona coffee as bebo explained, not like some others who claim to make kona coffee w/the wrong kind of coffee tree. i stayed there in the bunk house via airbnb and it was a pleasure. he, karen(bebo’s wife) and their lovely dog posse truly share the aloha spirit. we felt at home right away and they shared all their favorite spots nearby. their farm is beautiful especially when you take a walk in the morning before the sun peaks over the mountain casting that wonderful morning glow. there’s so many fruit trees that after foraging for fallen fruits and the fruit that karen leaves out for guests(and the breakfast plate she made us), we were sent home with full stomachs and leftovers to bring home on the other side of the island. their room is simple with comfortable beds and warm blankets, delicious coffee with a french press and plenty of towels. it’s a must if you want to truly experience hawaii.
