My wife and I are looking to build a greenhouse using old window frames with glass. We saw this place and got excited with the large selection they had and added R&T to our trip up the Virginia coast. We pulled up to the island that used to have gas pumps to park in the shade when we noticed that there was a sign«no parking.» So we moved the car without stopping. The blond woman who worked there said very loudly, «what’s the matter you no speaky English.» Then she said to people sitting there«I guess they can’t read the sign?» My wife is of Asian decent, but she speaks perfect English and has an advanced college degree. I was the one driving not my wife, and we didn’t even put the car in Park, we saw the sign and kept moving. There was no reason to make fun of my wife’s race. These kind of bigoted people don’t deserve our money. I was going to buy a large number of widow frames for at least one greenhouse and part of a chicken coop. I don’t care if they have the only old windows in town. These are the rudest people I have met in the state of Virginia. THEYSHOULDBESHUTDOWN! I“m sure they’ll just ask Unilocal to remove this comment but people should know what they say about you.

Expect a highly social visit with the chatty proprietor of this salty dogs gone wild gift shop. Their trademark bird sculptures are crafted from PVC pipe on the premises, and are clever without being cheesy. Reasonably priced and utterly charming. We wanted a slightly customized version and they were happy to put it together for us. Worth a stop, absolutely. There’s also quite a selection of driftwood and sea glass.
