I had their delicious chorizo breakfast burrito to-go and it was cooked perfectly. The eggs were nicely done, not too spicy and not too salty… Just right with a good amount of fresh cilantro! Yummy horchata! Very clean bathroom. The employees/staff are so friendly and always have a smile on their faces. Great customer service and whatever I need they are happy to help with open arms. Very loyal people and great food. It’s refreshing to have a place like this in our community. I couldn’t ask for more. Thank you so much.

First time eating here saw good reviews and took my daughter to eat. Got a steak quesadilla and a torta augada(carnitas) the torta was cold the first time with lots of chunks of fat not even good fat nasty chewy fat. Steak quesadilla was decent. Extremely greasy and steak was not so tender. I told the lady my food was cold and she took it and remade. I had lost my appetite by then but service was good food was not.

Been coming here for years. Love love love their Super Nachos and chocomil. Even the bun in the oven loved them. Hands down best nachos in the 818.

Great food, we did take out. Only thing is I wish you all catered more to people with vegetarian diets my friends where confused with the veggie selection, no grilled peppers? What was up with carrots and cauliflower? My vegetarian friend was confused. Other than that I enjoyed it. I would have given it 5 stars if you had grilled veggies like you get with fajitas.

This place is the new spot for authentic Mexican food. I’ve been passing by this place for the past 15 years, I sure do regret that now. Under the radar joint great food and service must try

Come here once in a blue moon nachos are really good. The customer service is not the best. I came here once with my aunt and ordered nachos the meat was very chewy so I returned the food and asked if the meat can be well done, the lady was very nice and apologetic the owner on the other hand was not he was very rude he should not own a restaurant he came to our table instead of apologizing to us he was mad that we returned the food and said it was wrong that we did that. I’m confused I’m the paying customer and your going to come to me and pretty much tell me I’m wrong sorry but that’s not the way you handle things especially as an owner fucken dumbass! I work in a restaurant and people return food all the time wether there wrong or right my managers always apologize and do there best to fix the problem. This guys a dumbass and doesn’t know how to run a business. This happened months back but I just got this Unilocal and felt the need to share this. Beware of THe DUMBASSOWNER!

Awesome experience at Los Alteños!!! Family owned and run by father, mother, daughter and son. As soon as i walked in I was greeted by the owners daughter, Lizbeth and she had a huge smile. She respectfully asked how i was doing and how she could help me. They have a huge menu from tacos, burritos, enchiladas, ceviche, tortas etc. the serve all sorts of freshly made drinks from horchata, tamarindo, jamaica etc. they also serve beer. I also met the owner, very friendly lady and very welcoming, hugged and kissed me, amazing feeling like i was family and the way Mexican culture is known to be. I had super nachos and they were amazing, fresh meat and tomatoes guacamole sour cream, basically the works. Thank you lizbeth and staff. I will be back soon.

My mom is the cook here for any of the plates and she makes some of the best food!!! The caldo de res is the best here and the albondigas are too!!! Stop by and check it out. She also makes all the rice and it’s sooo yummy!!!

Great taco truck service. They are very helpful, and always responsible. The food is excellent. The pineapple drink is amazing. I have used them several times, and will continue to use them. I highly recommend them if you are looking for an inexpensive way to feed a large group.

This was my second visit to this place. I ordered super nachos w the chips on the side to avoid them getting soggy… seemed simple enough. When i get home i see that my super nachos only consist of meat, pico de gallo and sour cream… wtf! I called and told them that my nachos didn’t have cheese, beans or guacamole… she said oh thats because we normally don’t make the nachos like that(w the chips on the side). She said the box would melt. Then i said well why didn’t you just put it on the side? I feel like they ripped me off. How do you make nachos with no cheese!!! I should have checked my food before i left. Decent food w incompetent employees!

Delicious breakfast burritos, friendly staff, and a huge selection of condiments make this a gem for Mexican food in San Fernando Valley.

This place is a joke! Started out loving this place UNTIL I ran into a few unprofessional employees. First girl took my order and came out to deliver it and when I handed her my card to run it at the restaurant like the Guy did for me quite a few times and she gave me. attitude saying I should have told her before because she’s the only one that. can do it like if I knew how things run there?! The other lady there that speaks little English is worse. EVERY time I order there she’ll leave me or other people I referred to the place on hold for at LEAST5 minutes, most of the time longer. That’s not the way to take someone’s order. On top of that each time I. ordered for delivery the minimum ALWAYS changed. From $ 15 to $ 15 without tax, to $ 16 and now $ 20. They try to rip people off. I ordered the caldo de Res that comes with rice and they charged me for it without telling me it comes. with the.order. if your planning to eat here DON’T, El Gallo Giro is down the street with better food and better prices.

Wow. When you’re in the mood to eat a small child, for only $ 1 more, the Super Burrito is a must-try: Asada, spicy pico, sour cream, guac, etc, and it’s really delicious. It’s really remarkably balanced, distinguished and fresh. I meant to take half of it home, but I couldn’t stop. An exemplary 4.5÷5 salsa packets.

This place used to be much better than it is today. They went from one of my favorite to on that I avoid at all costs now. Most of the food is overcooked and over salted. Their practices for cleanliness are not always adhered to. I have seen employees get fingers cut badly in the slicing machine there. They are scolded before any type of substandard first aid can be given. The machine is then briefly wiped down and then put back to service. Some of the male employees drink beer all night in the rear cooking area. That is not considered as good practice in business especially when the owners of the business are drinking with them.

Awesome family owned hole-in-the-wall. They make the best machaca around. They serve bottled beer and have a few TVs with generally soccer or Spanish movies. It’s worth a try. You will like it. Oh yea, the staff is great too. Very friendly and they always remember us when we come in.
