Taqueria Los Altenos

My last time there was a very bad experience, they had a sign that said «free drink when you buy a breakfast» so that morning I ordered two breakfast and asked for my free drink but the cashier said that the special was over (but the sign was still on the door) so anyway I didn’t argue and I bought a horchata but it tasted «weird» so I told the lady that my drink tasted different so another lady came from the kitchen and the owner joined the «party» too! When the owner tasted the horchata said «tasted delicious to me» and they laughed at me!!! I was expecting a different reaction from the owner but I was wrong! So I decided do not come back to this place again!

This place sucks bad, theyre meat is nothing but old frozen junk… theyre sea food is skimpy never filled up or given with lemon nor chili… and they’re staff is all bad nothing but attitude .and the manager is always in a bad mood and verbally abuses his staff… the beans and rice are left overs burned till there’s no flavor. every time i order its all wrong and it pisses me off .then the lady says (you didn’t tell me) with bad service… THIS IS NOT REAL MEXICAN FOOD!!!

Horrible place, Mexican food down the street with better prices and. better customer service. This place is a joke.

We came here on the tip of a friend. We ordered the beef and carnitas burrito. Both burritos were flavorful although the carnitas was dry. They have a self-​service salad bar with two types of salsas, peppers and pickled veggies. The service was what stood out to me most. We had ordered our food to go and she gave us a bowl of chips for our wait. When she forgot our horchata order, she gave us an extra complimentary one to compensate for the oversight. Small gesture but greatly appreciated.
