Excellent service to go with exceptionally tasty baked goods and coffee. Try the toast w/honey and sea salt… this was my favorite. Make this your go to place when starting your day off in Cannon Beach.

I went there for coffee and a pastry. The service was great very friendly. The coffee was great along with the pastry, the staff made the start of my fantastic experience. I will go back anytime I can and would encourage everybody to pay them a cost.

Woohoo! As good as it gets! Stopped by this place today for a quick peek after hearing rave reviews. It was great. The staff was very welcoming. I did not get a drink but bought some baked goods. They were SO good! The place is cozy and very charming. The best coffee shop on the Oregon coast for sure.

I’m so glad I found this place. We visit Seaside/Cannon Beach numerous times a year to see my boyfriend’s parents and generally stuck to the Starbuck’s inside the Safeway. Since I wanted a little snack in the morning(knowing his mom would be cooking us a big lunch) I looked up coffee shops with gluten-free options, and Sea Level was top rated… I can see why! Instead of just baking everything right in the morning, they bake different batches throughout the day, so everything tastes fresh… Their GF pumpkin bread with maple butter was to die for. We also got something that tasted like a big granola bar(I can’t remember what it was called) that was a great snack on the drive back up to Seattle later that day. The coffee is really good, too! I just order Americanos in the morning but they are surprisingly easy to mess up. Not here! Very smooth and tasty. The setup inside is adorable, and the baristas were super friendly and personable. On a sidenote, my boyfriend(graphic art director) absolutely loved the design of the logo. I will be sure to go back next time I’m in Seaside.

VIsited Sea Level a number of times while spending the week in the Cannon Beach area for Christmas. My family and I all loved every drink we got from this awesome shop. My sister bought herself a shirt, and I(miraculously) resisted grabbing myself one of their Klean Kanteens! I recommend visiting this shop for a truly great coffee and delicious baked goods.

This place caters to the little yuppie/hipster/Seattleite inside of me. The interior is stylish/modern. The music a bit too loud/electronic for me early in the morning. But the place overall is cute, the coffee is good, and the croissants are fresh. And that’s all that matters. I’ll be coming back at opening time tomorrow.

Super cute bakery/breakfast spot. The quiche was light and fluffy with excellent flavor and the blueberry and rosemary scone was quite good. Positive people and a homey vibe.

A cute little coffee shop right on the beach! A wonderful variety of pastries, sandwiches, bowls, and soups. Coffee was fantastic, and tea options were unique and fantastic. Felt like I was in a PDX shop but with beach charm.

Might need six stars for this place. Can’t say enough good things about this bakery and the wonderful humans who run it. Coffee is top notch! Food and baked goods are second to none. All hand made in the shop, wow. Jason and Liz who run the joint are super hospitable, feels like home. Do yourself a favor and visit this gem on the Cannon coast! Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Amazing! Coffee is delicious and their pastries are so fresh and tasty! If you are looking for a full on service and egg/meat breakfast this isn’t the place. But they have quiches, house made granola, and delicious hearts in your coffee!

Wow, what a perfect find! Wanted some high quality coffee and pastries on my birthday trip to the coast and Sea Level exceeded my expectations. LOVE the décor and design, and the coffee and food brought a smile to my face, too! I had an americano, done just right — not burnt, not too watery. We shared a ham and cheese kougin amanns and I got a lemon curd one all to myself. We also shared a zucchini and red pepper slice of quiche. The quiche was a velvety consistency… mmm…just like in France! Now let me tell you about the lemon curd kougin amanns, people. This may be the BEST pastry I’ve ever had. Bold statement, I know. It may rival the orange pecan twists at my favorite spot in Bellingham… Shhh, don’t tell them. I may have to take a trip to the coast again soon just to go back!

Wow! One of THE best peanut butter cookies I’ve ever had. Everything I look for in a cookie: crisp edges, chewy center, chunky peanut butter and salty sweet. The ginger molasses was good as well. I didn’t care for the chocolate salted seed bar. It was lacking something for me. Cold brew on tap very good. Really friendly staff and cute atmosphere. Will definitely be in again tomorrow

I fell in love with Stumptown Coffee 5 years ago when I first tasted it in the Seattle area(thank you Portland!). SO happy to find it here at Sea Level Bakery, and the coconut milk latte(they have almond milk as well) was terrific! Smooth, creamy, no ‘over-roasted’ taste, which makes Stumptown so fantastic. Kudos to the Baristas who know how to create the perfect latte. Can’t wait to try a pour over there next! The only thing I would suggest is that the owners consider increasing the number of gluten-free, dairy-free pastry options. There are many of us who cannot eat gluten due to celiac disease or autoimmune disease. etc. I appreciate that you do have a couple of pastry options, but the seed bar is not that tasty. I’ll try the GF chocolate chip cookie next time. Nonetheless, I’m grateful for at least these two options! Thank you.

Great little spot to stop and get a small bite for the morning. The acai bowl was delicious with mangoes, peaches, and skinless grapes! Hubs had a shot of espresso and the baguette with ham and brie. He was quite impressed. Service was amazing. :)

Fantastic, scratch bakery that could easily hold its own among Portland’s best: Ken’s, Grand Central, Baker & Spice, etc. This place does everything right, down to the ceramic plates, self-serve water(in glassware), and Stumptown coffee. The highlight, of course, are the baked goods: amazing scones and breads. The quiche is homemade and delicious — and they reheat it in the oven, not a microwave! There’s not even a microwave on the premises — my kind of place! Can’t wait to come back to Cannon Beach just for this place. Nice, cool owner too. Three minor suggestions: offer an 8-oz. to-go coffee(instead of only 12 and 16 oz’s), have metal stirring spoons on hand for mixing coffee and sugar/cream, and offer simple syrup in addition to sugar.

A really cute coffeehop next to the beach access. They serve stump town coffee and overall their coffee is really really good. I am really picky about coffee but they have wonderful coffee. They also have a variety of pastries and breakfast items. I had the yogurt granola with extra fruit(kiwi and strawberry are dollar extra) and it was super Delicious! The yogurt tasted fresh and homemade. My husband had the jambon brie sandwich on country loaf bread which was very tasty! Everything tasted super fresh! The atmosphere is very inviting and cozy. They have a couple of tables outside and few inside. Very cute coffee shop!

This bakery is way on the south end of town in Tolovana Park. It is well worth taking a leisurely walk down the beach to get there. The pastries are amazing, and they have great coffee, too! The décor is light and airy, and there is some outdoor seating as well. To get there from the beach, walk not quite all the way to the Ocean Lodge. Look for the beach access stairs to the left of the first row of houses north of Ocean Lodge. Sea Level is at the corner of Delta and Hemlock. If you’re not in to walking, there is parking available at the bakery and at the nearby Tolovana Beach State Park.

Thrilled to welcome Sea Level Bakery to Cannon Beach in the Tolavana Park area. They have spruced up the Waves of Grain space — more light, new pastry case and a welcoming smile. For my first visit, I power walked from the north-end of town to sample their coffee(hot and perfectly brewed) along with a ginormous biscuit and jam confection(a sweet and savory treat). A wonderful beach treat — nourishment for the trek home. Ask them about what’s in the pastry case, I overhead Jason(the owner) describe a scone that is sure to get me to lace up my shoes tomorrow morning… Imagine a blueberry scone with rosemary and lemon zest. The proprietor’s take their coffee and baked goods seriously.
