I had the worst experience at this place! The owner and the manager were so unbelievably unethical and desperate for business. «You don’t have a choice but to pay this bill, «said the manager to me. «We never make a mistake of putting half off on the wine and the owner is the nicest person in the world — and she would not have done such a thing, «added by the manager. The manager even told me that«you misunderstood and you need to pay this bill.» Their mistake of stating half off for the wine was clearly deceiving. When the bill came, the glasses of wine we ordered were full price. They said the half off was only for the bottle and not the glass! Not only did this place ruined my evening, it also ruined the meet up I had with a former colleague who I was catching up professionally(after a long period of time) and we were discussing business. Horrible people and very low life. The owner said what I can do for you is give you 10% off your bill — I said to her that is not necessary and not the point. My point was that you clearly told me the wine(except for the ones with asterisk *) were half off. You didn’t explicitly state«only the bottles» are off, is what I mentioned to her. I don’t predict this business to survive and I hope they don’t. They can keep their 10% off and enjoy that. But they would never earn my trust. Unethical, Unprofessional and Deceitful people have no place to stay in business.

Please bring your old crew back Tessora’s? Shelby, your assistant manager, and some of her co-workers told me that I live in/on the«South Side» last night. Once I asked the employee who said«SouthSide», genuinely not knowing what it meant,(which sadly I had to google), Shelby tells him not to say a word and that she is the assistant manager. Plus Shelby can’t decide if she is asking me to leave the wine bar in a pissed tone… or is actually saying«thank you and do visit us again» in a sarcastic *bye bye” way. As I walked out after Shelby asked me to leave, the«SouthSide» saying employee’s words were: Guy: South Side. Me: What? Guy: Nothing. Me: What does that mean? Guy: Oh I was just saying South San Jose(2 girls with him start laughing) Apparently I’m a racist when, I’m asked to leave or come indoors as soon as possible because California law does not allow customers to drink on the patio after midnight, so I come in, and once I’m inside I’m told to leave as soon as I can because it is closing time(I just had 2 sips left). Meanwhile, the 2 other groups, one inside and one outside, have enough wine and food for another 30 mins. What separated me from the rest of these groups? The only thing that I could see was our skin color. FYI, I was out on a date night and not dancing on the tables! *smirk* Can I specifically give these employees a zero star?

I ate here for the first time last Friday night, the First Friday event in Campbell. They were very busy, but it certainly wasn’t for the good food. I tried the Topas, which were recommend to me. They were very dry and tasteless. The selection of wine was terrible. I would not recommend this place.

Wine and food just okay. Atmosphere is terrible. Definitely not a cozy place. I’m all about cozy while drinking my wine and I do not get that here. The décor is not my style either. Very typical out dated«wine décor».

The food here is amazing I had a very 4 nice glasses of an amazing Zinfandel and tried the pear and chicken flatbread as well as the Brie with bacon spread and also the mushrooms all very tasty and delicious! Deducting one star due to the fact that after paying my bill of about $ 80.00 and walking out not even a thank you from the bar staff seems they were more interested in gossiping among each other and watching the one man band that was playing whom was terrible!

Such a cute little wine bar in the middle of downtown Campbell. The perfect place to head it you’re not looking to get smashed drinking Swirls across the street. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The chocolate fondue was quite yummy and the prices were pretty fair. My only complaint is the amount of white wines listed by the glass. They don’t offer as much as I’d had hoped. Unless I was missing a menu or something? Overall, lovely place. I will be back for sure.

Cute little wine bar with a warm and cozy ambiance. Came here for Sunday afternoon jazz jam, which was lovely. A band of professional musicians backing up skilled amateurs lead to some great performances. The pear, Brie, and honey flatbread was exceptional(and not too sweet). The wine flights were all a little bizarre. All the wines in the flight were decent and all quite interesting but in its entirety the flight felt disjointed and random. This decreased my confidence in the skill of the wine experts at Tessoras. Still, I had a great experience here and definitely plan to return.

Love love love this place. They have live entertainment and great food. Try the garlic soufflé and the flat breads. Minus one star for being VERY expensive. The desserts are between $ 11-$ 14 each which is a little ridiculous. But the food is delicious and high quality. The wine is very reasonable. They have over 20 options by the glass and 200 by the bottle.

If I could give 10 stars I would! My husband threw me a 40th birthday party here and it was beyond perfect. Carol and Jenni were so easy to work with from start to finish. They offered a lot of suggestions and were very accommodating. The finger foods were spectacular. Just to name a few, we had truffled deviled eggs, spinach dip, cheese platter, pulled pork, chicken sticks, pizza, chocolate dipped strawberry’s & pumpkin spice truffles. I had about 60 guests and the venue worked out so well. The wine selection we had was awesome. My friends and family had such a great time that they were still talking about it the next day! Thank you again Carol, Jenni, Chelsea & Scott for helping make my 40th a memorable one!

Love this place. They have a great selection of wines. Not just local wines but wines from all over. Which is sort of nice especially if you want to just stay close to home. Their food menu isn’t large but it’s really yummy! They have great cheese plates and flat bread pizza plates that go great with wine. They have outside seating which is so nice for summer nights in down town Campbell. It feels spacious and not crowded. The first time I came GREAT customer service, so I came back again! The cute blonde girl that I see most often, she is wonderful! She’s so kind, and helpful. I showed up late to the table(my two friends were there for awhile before I arrived) and she was so quick to asking me if I needed anything or if I wanted a menu. The only thing that I don’t recommend is coming here when they have a live band… It’s really hard to have a conversation cuz it’s so loud. Other than that, hands down my favorite little wine bar.

Went last night on a date and it was a great spot. We stayed for just wine, didn’t eat but the service and wine suggestions we spot on. I’ll absolutely be back.

Wonderful selection and I love the 2.5 oz pours option! It’s perfect for those who just want to try a few wines that are not listed in their flights and not want to commit to a full glass. I tried 2 of their whites: a Chardonnay from New Zealand and a Pinot Gris from France. They also offer wine flights(3 wines, each a 3 oz pour), but they were specific wines that were listed, so that’s why I opted for the 2.5 oz pours of the wines I specifically wanted to try. Service was great; the waitress we had was so sweet and was able to answer questions we had. The atmosphere is nice, but I think they can improve on the quality of the outdoor furniture. The tables didn’t quite match up to the rest of the bar. They were these caged metal tables– ours actually happened to be pretty wobbly. Although we sat outside, we could smell some amazing aroma coming from the kitchen. I’ll definitely be back at some point to try their food!

This place is SO good! The Sunday morning Brunch is perfect! Shop the farmers market and stop in for the delicious French pressed coffee with great choices for breakfast. My family recently had a get together for a birthday, there were 13 of us and that’s when I found out about their Chef! And oh my God, the dishes she came up with are to die for! I had this dish with polenta and shrimp and watermelon. My husband had the same dish and we haven’t stopped talking about it yet. The chef is right there and I got the chance to ask all about how she made it. She is a genius! Everyone raved about their food, and the birthday girl(76) said it was her best birthday yet! Thanks for our local favorite Campbell destination!

My friends and I were bar hopping and came upon this quaint little wine bar. It was a nice warm evening and we sat outside to enjoy a nice bottle of cab and the live band that was playing. Our server was extremely sweet and there was a good selection of wines to choose from. I definitely recommend swing by if you are in the area. 4.5STARS

It pains me to give a one star review to this place, but the behavior of the waiter demands it. Let me explain. My girlfriend and I were walking downtown Campbell when we came upon Tessora wine bar. We had been there a few times before and found it a fun place with a good wine selection. We decided to stop and sample some wine. We saw an empty table outside and took it. After several minutes just sitting there we tried to get the waiter’s attention. He ignored us. We finally caught his attention and asked for the wine list. He grabbed one, dropped it gruffly on the table and muttered«that’s what happens when you seat yourselves». Needless to say we got up and left. Mind you there was no sign that we could see saying that we should have waited to be seated. Had there been a sign maybe I could have excused the rude behavior … no, actually I would have not. I worked as a waiter during my college days and I never acted that way towards a customer, but maybe the standards are different at Tessora. Unfortunate, because I really liked the place.

Pretty big fan of Tessora’s and I would really recommend it to everyone, there are many positives: the wine selections are great, the prices are reasonable, everything I’ve ever had to eat there is awesome and in particular I’d recommend the lamb meatballs. Here are a few things to be aware of: 1.) They host private events frequently which sometimes closes them down for periods that they are normally open. Follow them on FB to see when this is happening as they are pretty good about keeping that updated. 2.) I’m not the biggest fan of most of their live music. I think the musicians sit at that«practiced and seasoned amateur» level and my biggest reason for saying this is that like so many bands they don’t mix their levels very well, the live music at Tessora’s is almost always too loud, which is okay because there is seating outside! Otherwise, great place, enjoy!

The wine was fabulous! Great variety, some unique ones from all over from Santa Cruz Mountains, Washington and Argentina . Also more local ones and classic favorites… The food was pretty darn good but not to die for. a bit high price for the quality… Customer service was excellent and fun . And the bartender had Bob Ross the painting artist from the 70 show as the poster child for their band name called Tatohooney. ? They did not play tonight but he told us to come back Friday to see them play…

LOVETHISPLACE! I brought my lovely mother here ON a Friday afternoon. We opted for the $ 5 happy hour bliss Pinot noir and $ 8 cheese plate. The grapes, two cheeses, salami, artichokes, and bread were on point. The wine was FAB and our servers were great! After we gobbled up the cheese platter, we ordered for the salmon crostinis and the cherry cognac ice cream. The salmon crostinis were DIVINE. The shallots on top have that sweet onion flavor and were incredible. Now, I’m not a cherry ice cream person but the combo was amazing. I was blown away at the flavors and overall experience. On our way out, we both decided to do the 2 bottles for $ 20 deal. How could we not?! We will definitely be returning with friends and family. I have been to a couple other wine bars in the area. This by far is my new favorite because of the high quality of food, prices, and casual ambience. THEWORLDNEEDSMOREPLACESLIKETESSORA’S BARRADIVINO!

Came here on a quiet Wednesday night to do some reading. I had a flight of wines called«Cigar Box Reds» and thought it was pretty good. These went well with the«lamb meatballs with candied pistachios» from their kitchen. Service was great and I learned a lot of funky names for wine. Prices were quite affordable for a student like me.

Waitress on my most recent visit: Shelby! Shelby was a wonderful, attentive waitress. My friend and I sat outside with our wine and food just chatting away the whole night, and she came out regularly to check up on us, fill up our water, ask how we felt about the wine, and was in general very friendly and sweet. I’ve been patronizing Tessora’s for about 1 – 2 years(I started coming here with the other men and women at my yoga studio — we’d go as a group of 6 – 12 after our Wednesday night aerial yoga class) and my experience has definitely become more positive over time. The food is a bit on the pricier side but I have a few items that I enjoy and stick with when I come, so I always enjoy spending my time here and bringing my friends. As an event organizer for a local meetup group, I’m always on the lookout for places that handle groups well, have a good selection/pricing of wine, and have a solid assortment of food. I have brought the ladies in my Meetup group to Tessora’s several times at their new downtown Campbell location and I’ve always been happy with the service, wine recommendations, and how they take care of my group. I also like to bring friends here when it’s a one-on-one meeting or chillaxation evening. We chose to sit on the patio tonight, where they have heaters that give off just enough warmth even on a slightly chilly evening. It was very loud inside with the live music and number of people, but sitting outside was fantastic! We ordered: — 2x Mac & Cheese(you MUST try this!) — Apple & Pulled Pork Crepes — Banana Bread Pudding Brulee(drop dead delicious; another must try!) — European Blends Red Wine Flight Including gratuity, we each paid about $ 43-$ 45, but we were both comfortably full and the wine was great. I loved #2 in the flight(unfortunately, I forgot to write down the name of the wine!) but thoroughly enjoyed all three choices. I feel that their food choices and quality have improved over time, which is a huge plus! It’s a great casual but cozy atmosphere and I cannot recommend Tessora’s enough.

A bit pricey, but, definitely a lot better in portions than Vino Vino. Very friendly staff, live music on certain nights and great wine menu. The wine do have funny names, but nonetheless is very good. Brought a few none wine friendly people and they fell in love with the flavor and content of how their wine was. It’s hard to get people fixed on wine and this place did just that. So many choices to decide from, lots of non tarty wine, mostly fruitier tasting. Some other wines are perfect; very great place near my house.

Stopped in for some wine flights and the place was super crowded. We had both the red and white flights which ended up being very delicious. The service though was lacking and but they were super friendly to their regulars. It was loud and crowded but I’d go back since it is a wine bar and I love their wine selection. Next time I hope there’s a seat at the bar.

Came here for happy hour with my girl friend. We ordered the nibbles platter and it was delicious! 3 cheeses and one meat called copolla. Came with some olives, grapes, blueberries, blackberries, and bread. Worth the $ 8! I had a glass of chardonnay and a bubbly with the platter. Love how there’s outside seatings too. Perfect for summer.
