Hardtke W.O.B. is a great spot for your little leaguer to hit some balls. They have a great layout with plenty of cages set to different speeds. Just went for the first time today with my 6 and 4 year old. They have a cute little wiffle ball cage at the end that’s great for little ones learning the game or a warm up for the more advanced player. Lost a star for two reasons: 1) Location. Tucked away behind Fry’s Elec at Hamilton and the 17, somewhat hard to find unless you’ve been there. 2) Price. $ 10 for 4 tokens. $ 20 for 8 tokens. I feel you should get a couple more rounds for these prices. # of swings per round are perfect. I think my oldest got 20 swings on a round I counted, so you do get plenty of swings for the price which is a plus. They have plenty of MLB and baseball décor and flat screens playing sports. Benches outside cages for parents to sit and watch. First rate facility. If you’re serious about your child’s development in baseball/softball, then you need to go here. Review is for cages only… cannot speak to their lessons as we have yet to use, but I know lessons are available.

Love it, My son loves baseball and I take him there for lessons and baseball camp. He has improved so much with Nattie George’s batting lessons and tonight we start with pitching to improve throwing and accuracy. Great place!

It was really fun. Staff was really nice and I love the bigger batting cages. This place is only two mins from my house so I will be going back again real soon.

This place is a hidden gem and I do mean hidden; it’s all the way behind Fry’s Electronics closest to the VTA Light Rail tracks. Plenty of parking and come right after work 5:00/5:30pm on Mondays for free range of any batting cage! I love how this place didn’t even bat an eye(pun intended) at a pregnant woman wanting to whack a few slow pitch softballs to blow off some steam. Of course, I had the doc’s permission, so it’s was a perfect experience. Buy $ 15 of tokens on the debit card, borrow a bat at the desk and helmet from the back wall, you’re good to go! I would recommend hand sanitizer before and after, as well as bringing a baseball cap to wear underneath the helmets if you borrow one — note: helmets are required and it doesn’t matter if you’re doing slow pitch or fast pitch or if your younger or older — helmets for all.

Best baseball academy on the planet, I would recommend this place to baseball and softball players, they will get the serious player to the next level. My son all league player and starting catcher on varsity as freshman.

This review is long overdue. My kids have been going to camps and using the batting cages at Hardtke for over 5 years now. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. The new facility is set up well and fun to go to. Like I said we have done the camps and private lessons as well. We have also played on their travel ball team. The team was well coached and competitive from the start. The EFS training is an excellent addition to the training provided by Hardtke. Both my kids are performing at a high level and I know that Hardtke had a lot to do with the sound fundamentals they both have. Also a big thank you to Nattie George for outstanding coaching and support. Also coach Tom, Fin and Kevin along with all the others. I would highly recommend Hardtke.

Unfortunately the machines are always down. They won’t take any cash less than $ 10.00 and they charge extra for card. They seem like nice guys but the cages are a piece of work. I will be looking to go elsewhere.

Took my two sons to try batting practice. Very nice people there. Reasonable pricing. The coin machine wasn’t working, so we had to go ask the people at the desk to manually turn it on every time, so that was a little annoying. But good fun at swinging at some balls for my two boys.

Hard to find but worth the effort. Helmets and bats for loan gratis. Not too crowded. Some of the only batting cages in town. Awesome

My son participated in their summer skills development program last summer and it was a really good program. The coaching quality was exceptional. The Saturday practice games were not as good as the mid-week practices. My guess is that the more senior coaches were with the travel teams. That said I was overall very happy about the experience.

My son is brand new to baseball and they were really helpful. Holiday weekend so it was quiet which was great. No line. He could stay in the cage for a while and get practice. Very clean. Will be back.
