Updating my initial review to reflect that this business took swift action to rectify my initial experience. Patric, the owner of Faux, contacted me right away to apologize and reschedule. Today I had a great experience with Amber for a cut and dye. She was incredibly attentive and skilled and I love how my hair turned out in terms of style and color. The level of quality is worth the cost and I will be going again!

Amy Bleiler has been my stylist for years and I just love her! She is a master at the bob, and teaches other apprentices how to improve their skills. She is an inspired colorist. Long hair or short, Amy has the talent and skill to really make you shine!

Faux Salon is the best. I highly recommend them to all my friends who want color and they have all come back to me happy with the referral. If you want a little or a lot of color in your hair, in any shade, Faux Salon is fantastic and very reasonably priced. I always have my hair done by Luis. He’s the best of the best.

Never get the entire hair coloured … Always looks like I had them coloured a month ago… My roots are dark brown and the hair is coloured blonde

Man I’m overwhelmed rite now. This guy #mikelvaldez was my very first inspiration in hair long before I ever knew what a career was. On the steps to the platform I sat as a small child 5,6,7 years old and all the color and weird music and people that seemed to be neither man not woman and tattoos and piercings and laughter all felt so intriguing and in a way I felt like I was engaging in something bad. The good bad, naughty almost. Years later I ended up a cosmetologist by a fluke and got the chance to work at #faux #fauxcampbell. Sad to say it ended bad and I surely had blame as did they but that matters not to me now. I learned quite a bit about hair, alot about life, and shit ton about people and different personalities. One right thing I did is I took advantage of the time Mikel made available out front against the wall smoking cigarettes (I would smoke anyway, he talked so much his would just burn, his sinister grin holding a three inch long ash like a drunk in a bar) he taught me alot, more importantly gave me supreme confidence and if nothing else that given day he made me laugh. I’m extremely sad I didn’t get to squash things with him before he passed although I did try once I wish I had tried harder and more often. Goodbye old friend you truely were a pioneer and I looked up to you #fauxever

Go see Danielle!!! She did an AMAZING color job for me! I showed her pictures that I liked on pinterest and she made it happen! She used 3 different shades of red and purple to get my look. She did an amazing job because my hair is really dark and course and doesn’t hold dye well.

Love Faux Salon and love my stylist (and friend, Jennifer Bailey). I came to Faux about 7 – 8 years ago from Nimbus Salon in Los Gatos. After going to Nimbus for many years, almost never being seen on time, and spending at least 4 – 5 hours there to get a haircut and highlight, I was so happily surprised when I got to Faux and Jennifer showed up on time for the appt (and continues to — she is never late), and I only had to spend two hours getting a hair cut and highlight! I didn’t realize this was a NORMAL SALON EXPERIENCE! With Faux, I know I’ll be in and out with a great cut and highlight in two hours and Jennifer will show up on time. Thank you, Jennifer and Faux.

I just love this salon! The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming and my stylist Amber always listens to exactly what I want and delivers! I love how natural she makes my highlights look and she never cuts more off than I like! Can’t wait for next time!

Reddish Blondish colored hair female employee is a pretty horrible person. During the event this last weekend in downtown campbell i watched an incident between her and the security guards. She was screaming obscenities because she would be forced to walk an extra 15 feet to her store. At one point she shoved one of the guards. I don’t normally go to salons, but will tell everyone i know to avoid this place and its psycho employees.

Way too overpriced! Everytime I went in, they charged me more than the last. They don’t think so, but they ARE replaceable, there are plenty of great stylists that are not this expensive! My color was done wrong 2x and the stylist would not listen to what I wanted … just argued with me.
Terrible customer service on her part!

Jason is what brought me into Faux. Now that he is gone, I must follow him. He can be found in Campbell still!!!
I will follow a great stylist where ever they go, Jason is no exception!

Good, fun atmosphere, but this review is going to highlight Jason Karam. This man is an artist. Watching him work, you can tell that he really enjoys his work and takes pride in it. He is very professional and very friendly. He also has a very open approach to his style. I would recommend booking with Jason on your next visit.

So glad Iris Torez is back at Faux where we started 15 years ago!!! Still a fun, energetic, salon with amazing stylists.

Lauren has been doing my hair for over 8 years and I trust her to do ANYTHING because she is fabulous. I started as her guinea pig and watched her grow into the amazing artist she is. I was so excited when she was hired at Faux. The setting here is amazing and I am always greeted so nicely by everyone. I prefer to do more crazy colors with my hair (which lauren kicks a** at!) however I’ve also seen some really nice natural color work and amazing unique cuts.
I also have to add that I’m always taken care of with refreshments.. I always go for the coffee! Two of my favorite things here are the oddly shaped mirrors which create an illusion in the salon (you’ll always have something to look at while you’re getting your hair done) and the hidden bathroom along the mural wall, which is super unique.

After the two girls I used to see here moved, I finally had an appt with Luis! He’s amazing. He gives you his honest and real opinions and he really is able to visualize what he thinks would suit you best, while listening to what’s important to you. He’s my hair guy now!

I realized I should update my review here. I have been going to Faux for quite a while. I always have a great experience between the friendly reception and a great consult and cut with Jason.
I highly recommend this place.
