Mostly a commuter bus from Alewife to the Burlington Mall. Useful in getting from Arlington to the mall, but check the schedule before waiting because it only runs about once an hour.

The 350 bus runs from North Burlington via the Burlington Mall to Alewife Station in Cambridge. A bus route that stops at the Burlington Mall seems like it would really come in handy, but the fact of the matter is, it runs so infrequently that it’s really not. There are as few as one bus running per hour at times during the day where you’d really need a few more. And I don’t know about you, but after a long day of shopping, the last thing I’d want to do is stand around, laden with bags, waiting for a bus that seems like it’s never going to come. If you must do this, though, I advise downloading the Catch the Bus app, so you can at least sit in the food court until a few minutes before the bus arrives. That being said, this bus also runs through my neighborhood in Arlington en route to Alewife, so on the rare occasion where it shows up before one of the obscenely infinite number of 77 buses flying down Mass Ave, I’ll hop on and take the T from Alewife instead of Porter. So for that, the 350 bus can have its moments of usefulness.
