This is a really nice deli in Calabash. They have many fresh made pasta salads and cold sandwiches. I’m a hot sandwich guy so I opted for a hot eggplant with pesto and provolone sandwich to bring to the beach with me. It was delicious. I recommend the place for an establishment to stop and fill up the cooler before a trip to Sunset or Ocean Isle Beach. The prices are reasonable for the quality ingredients and the service is friendly.

This place is addicting!
Everything is so fresh and DELISH!
Best kept secret on the grand strand… although I think people are realizing the quality of the food!
All of the baked bread and desserts are super fresh and yummy.
My favorite is the #1 calabash club on sub roll! Yum yum!
Boars head meats… crisp bacon what more can you ask for?! Ahhh
You can even grab a cold salad or lasagna to take home… my hubs loves the HUNGRY MAN for breakfast!

Deliciousness in the form of sandwiches. Staff was extremely friendly. Cozy atmosphere. Don’t miss the family photos, showing generations of delicatessen owners.
I got the Mel’s sandwich. Soft, yummy rye bread. Lots of thinly sliced turkey. Creamy coleslaw and thousand island dressing.
Will definitely be returning and recommend highly.
