Parkway Kebab & Grill

The food is disgusting, it hardly has any flavors, it’s horrible and very dry. The chicken I ordered smelled like it was spoiling. Their menu is very Americanized, 75% of their menu is American. Whatever I order initially from the menu, they never have it in stock, so make sure you have other alternatives to choose from. Order drinks and they always forget to bring it, I’ve been there twice and I always had to remind them to bring me my drink. Service is super slow even though they’re not busy. I’ll never return.

Chicken kabob is delicious and i highly recommend the greek side salad.

We loved this location when it was JVS BBQ. Really missed it, but Parkway ‘s food is excellent! This is my 3^rd visit.
This review is for the BBQ take-​out and not the kebobs. Tri-​Tip sandwich was flavorful and stacked with meat. I subbed a green salad for the side. It was a fresh, crisp salad which was actually quite plentiful.
I don’t get the comments about poor service. The service was friendly and professional during each visit. The meal was ready when promised and was fresh and hot. I will definitely return.

I looked this place up on Unilocal because I was nearby and I went by the other reviews. Inside was so clean and the gentleman who was working was very polite. We ordered the fried zucchini, boneless chicken kabobs, and French fries. Everything was delicious! The kabob dish came with a nice salad and large serving of rice. I wish I lived closer, I would come here on a regular basis.

They have such a great lunch special! Their chicken kabab is flavorful and moist, but my favorite part is the dressing that comes with the greek salad. It’s made with tons of dill and is sooooo good!!! It’s been gladly added to my weekly lunch routine :)

This place is solid. Been here multiple times and so far everything is great. The beef and filet mignon kabobs are my favorites. Portions are pretty large so knowing you can eat it the next day makes the prices ok. Glad this place is here rather than the previous failed businesses in that same spot.

Mediterranean food and service was not good at all. Probably the worst hummus I’ve ever tasted. Also the prices are a bit high. There’s better food across the highway at the Pita Place. I will give them credit for the French fries as they were good.

My previous 4 stars is definitely 5 now! I’ve had several things on the menu from the burger special, kebab special, pulled beef BBQ sandwich, salad, hummus&pita, etc! All so yummy, I don’t have any complaints at all. I’m here at least once a week on my work lunch breaks

Kebabs were good. Hummus was awful. Greek salad lackluster. Basmati was fine. Pita was store bought. I expected much more based on the reviews. Even the Mediterranean Grill by Albertsons is better imo. Too bad because I would love some great Mediterranean food in the neighborhood. (Wish The Firehouse over in Reseda would relocate!)

A very classy little spot. Very well done and very clean. The food? It’s OK. Good, but just OK. Also a bit pricey. I’ve been there twice. Will there be a third time… probably not.

Excellent service, delicious Persian food for a fair rate. Saffron rice was state of the art, so was kabab and eggplant appetizer. The owner served himself and was exceptionally polite with us and kids. Perfect place for family with kids. We live in Santa Monica and often swing by this place to please our craving.

The burger was AMAZEBALLS!
When I was walking by to check out the menu from the window, it was a simple one. I had a huge craving for a burger that tasted fresh off the grill. I was disappointed at first because there was only one burger on the menu and it was a cheeseburger. Since the name of the restaurant highlights kebabs, I wasn’t sure how good the burgers would be. I am a very picky burger eater.
The burger was thick, juicy and seasoned perfectly. It’s flavor was reminiscent of a backyard BBQ burger.
The service was great since I arrived at opening time. Once people around here taste these burgers, they will be packed once the doors open. Very kind and attentive cashier.
The dining area was inviting and cozy and clean.
I will be coming back! I may even try the kebabs and other foods on the menu. If the burgers are this delicious, I can’t wait to try everything else.

Okay first off the food was ok.
I was expecting a bit more since everyone had such great reviews about this place. It took a bit too much, a lunch that should have cost $ 12 ended up being $ 22. My food got there like 50mins later. The girl was nice but she stood there expecting a tip, which I had already given at the moment of paying for the food online. The chicken was dry and on top of that it was given to me with no napkins and no fork or spoon. I eat in my car because the building were I work has no patio for lunch and my office has no kitchen. So it was a bit inconvenient eating the rice with veggies to be use as scoops. Wish I could give this a better rating.

I’ve been there twice and ordered the chicken kabob. It came with a salad. It was delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. The salad was fresh and their house dressing was excellent. Nice people too and passionate about great food and service. I’ll be a regular. This place is a little gem!

I went to parkway kebab for the first time and let me tell you the mixed kabab was amazing. I will be back again to try other dishes here.

We started off with the intention to eat Thai and we came across this new little gem. My co-​worker got the Ghomeh sabzi and I’ve tried both lunch specials the boneless chicken kabab and the beef skewer kabab koobideh. Everything was delicious and so fresh! The both meats had great flavor and they were so tender, the salad was crisp and their house salad was yummy!
I’m only giving it 4 stars because on my first visit I was told that all lunch specials came w/​a drink and on my second visit I was told it only applied to the burger special. Either way it’s great food and the prices are perfect. I’m always left a little hungry afterwards, but that’s because I have a pic appetite and their food is just that tasty!

I had the best kabob and there hamburgers was outstanding I recommend everyone and service was very good reasonably priced, keep up the good work.
