I came here for the first time this morning and cannot wait to come back. The people who run this place are friendly, attentive, and generous. They threw in some extra things for me today because they wanted me to try them. Who does that?! Their bagels taste fresh and their cream cheese tastes rich. Next time I come back, I will order their famous pork bagel breakfast sandwich.

I’m from New Jersey and really appreciate a good bagel. This place does it right! They are also the only bagel place in Southwest Florida that I know of to carry Taylor Ham.

The only bad thing about this place is once you go here it ruins all other bagel shops. It’s reasonably priced and they don’t skimp you on cream cheese, they give you enough for two bagels which I love. Definitely my Sunday morning go to.

Ok let me start off by saying I’m from Long Island and super critical of bagels. The bagels are really good. Up until today I would have given more stars. I got an everything bagel toasted with butter. You’ll see in the picture I attach there is barely any butter on only one side of the bagel. But that’s forgivable WHATISN’T is I watched the cook making a Bacon, egg and cheese(which are also excellent) for another customer and with the same spatula he was using to flip the eggs and make the sandwich he scraped the crud out of the trap in front of the griddle(the black oily sludge they scrape OFF the flat top), throw the crud in the trash and then WITHOUTWIPINGORCLEANINGIT proceed to put the sandwich together using it! That’s disgusting!!! Updated: went back and they are using a proper scraper for the grill now which I would have upped the stars for but then there was this kid making the bagels to order bad mouthing and rolling his eyes at the older patrons even after a woman behind the counter reprimanded him for how he was delivering things. Hey kid, those older patrons are why you have a job… Show a little respect.

Idk how to start this’s basically weird vib. Lots of guys here. Seemed weird then after we saw the girls behind the counter it started to make sense why so many guys where there. After we placed out order we were try to figure out how to pay and to pay due to the fact it was to go. Most places you go they tell you the total. You pay and go. This chick didn’t say anything so we were like uhm do we pay here? She’s like uhm yeah if you want?! Like wth is that? anyway food was great, coffee was okay, waitress were creepily flirty with excessive googly eyes and even another customer who was there pointed it out too saying how weird it was. Other than that we’d diffidently come here again.

As a newly displaced Yankee from a big city, one of my chief concerns before coming here(having had some pretty sorry excuses for bagels in other parts of the country) was finding places with good breads, pizza doughs and of course bagels. I was pleasantly surprised to find this place, not too far from my home. On Sunday morning, I dragged myself out of bed and went off to try this place. Walked in, saw the counter full of baskets of different varieties and knew that things were going to be okay. One of my tests is to see how the pumpernickles are. This place passed with flying colors. As I sat there eating my pumpernickle with lox and cream cheese, I was amused by some of the other patrons. There were a couple of guys who were straight off the Brooklyn boat. This made me feel at home. Having now been there a few times and seen the same guy there each time and even once seeing him go behind the counter I think he must be the owner. I didn’t need to see him to know that these are good bagels but it didn’t hurt.

Bagels are top notch-almost as good as it gets. Pricey, but Tuesdays you get 18 for the price of 12 bagels. I freeze them myself. Try to get a Taylor Ham, egg n cheese in SWFL-they look at you sideways! This NY Style bagel store has it. But they should know better than slice the pork roll so thin you could see thru it. Any NY or Jersey THEC shop knows it should be sliced thick. I have gone to Bagel shops from Marco Island to Ft Myers and cannot find homemade, flavored cream cheese. This place has it in 6 varieties. My fiancé gets the strawberry, me the green olive, or maple walnut. Yummy! Really good NY Style Crumb Cake. It’s a real WOW and well worth the trip if you just get a piece of crumb cake! Bialy? Who has these in Florida? The bialy here could compete anywhere! NOKIDDING! Looking forward to trying other pastries they have real soon! But it starts with the bagel-and this place is off to a great start!

The bagels are delicious but apparently now you can’t order a dozen bagels of the same kind. You can only order a dozen assorted. This is the dumbest thing I’ve heard of.

Horrible experience!!! We ordered and then waited for our order. About 10 people behind us got their order and left, and we were still waiting. The bagels are not that great to worth the waiting.

Best bagels in town! Been going here for many years and they never disappoint. Chocolate chip bagels and the maple walnut cream cheese are my favorites, just not together! You can’t beat a buck a bagel and on Tuesdays you buy a dozen and get a half dozen free.

This place had the best breakfast/lunch bagels I. The area! My dad lives in NJ and the Bagel shops there are amazing! And the bagels here taste just like they do in NJ/NY and the pastries are to die for! Myself and my fiancé love the chicken salad here! You can tell its all homemade. The staff is really friendly, the only reason i give it 4 stars is that they have messed up our orders a few times. So we always double check. But all in all this is a good place :)

No! I don’t think so. No parking. No real service. No good bagels. Been to all of them in SWFL and have to say this place is barley hanging on. I do not expect them to stay open with«imitation NY style bagels» for very long. Sad to say that the location on Del Prado was better only because parking and accessibility was a plus. Inside this joint, and I’m sure the new one opening off of Cape Coral Pkwy, the attitude and customer service will remain the dismal same. Besides, why compete with DD and Starbucks within a 1 mile square radius?

Very good bagel joint! I had the Frank the Tank on an egg bagel and enjoyed it. I felt like I was in NY, staff was friendly, service was prompt, and bagels were delicious. What more can you ask for? They have a sign out front advertising a new location in Cape Coral coming soon.

Delicious, real NY bagels! Small place, right out of Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. I would highly recommend visiting, especially if you appreciate what a true bagel should taste like!

Finally! Real NY style bagels! Huge and fresh and absolutely delicious. Friendly staff, homemade cream cheeses and excellent rainbow cookies! You can order«coffee regular» and they know exactly what you mean! FYI although the address says Pine Island Road, the storefront faces Skyline Blvd.

Frank the Tank on an everything bagel. Freaking amazing! The owner looks like he is in high school and is as nice as he could be. Smart young man. Eating at locally owned places like this, where they make everything fresh, is why I am glad I moved here.

Well as good as places go this is a star for SWFL. Not the best… I have had better BUT I am impress. From what I saw from the long line and empty baskets with a whirl wind of activity in the kitchen. You need to go here for the breakfast and Fresh bagels. A buck a bagel is not bad. They are fresh and tasty. I had the garlic bagels good maybe a bit more garlic please. Give them a try.

Absolutely delicious. The best bagels, homemade cream cheese, and just heaven in your mouth. Staff is very friendly. I would eat here everyday if I could! The prices are very reasonable for the quality you are getting. I am in love with their asiago cheese bagel with olive cream cheese. I would recommend this place to anyone, it’s a must try.
