Stevie Tomatoes is what it is – a solid sports bar. Stick with the standard bar fare and you will enjoy your meal. Stray into more complex territory and you will not. They offer pretty good wings, burgers, and pizza. The meatball appetizer is also a winner, and the nachos are solid. Food is a little pricey IMO, but the beer selection and ample televisions(which can show just about any sporting event around) give them a boost.

Here is my 2 cents on the food and chit chat. I got their self proclaimed, best grouper sandwich in SW Florida. Lets start with the good. The pickle was garlicky and crunchy. Fries hot & crispy. Grouper sandwich… It SUCKED. I asked for a blacken spicy fish sandwich. I told my server I wanted it Mexican HOTNO Indian ghost pepper hot. I GOTNEITHER. Plus the fish was barely cooked through. When you say blacken it means BLACK as a hole in outer space. Also the bun was too wet. The tomatoe slice was so thin I could read a newspaper thru it. And why a sports bar who offers primary a chicago style pizza, would even entertain the mere thought of having the best grouper sandwich is beyond me. They also claim to have good ribs. What person told them of this fantasy I have no idea. On the good side the server was very good. From what I saw of the food I admit the quality was there. They just do not know how to execute the entrees. They need to stop boasting and make the food actually good. If it is good enough people like me will advertise it as such. Then folks will come knocking down the doors.

Great views of TV’s all around the place. Went there for the NCAA football championship game. Tomatoes was an amazing place to watch the game. The service was excellent with frequent visits to the table from a friendly server. The food was average. Tried the Blanco cheese dip with chips. It seemed like it was the wrong kind of cheese as it hardened quickly before half the chips were consumed. The wings were decent sized but the sauce had no flavor. They were cooked well with almost a crispy texture. We ordered the wings«mild» but had no hint of anything as far as taste or hotness is concerned. Then we had two pizzas brought out as that is their signature dish. One was thick crust and the other we asked thin crust. The ingredients we chose came out so-so and the sauce & the cheese were okay. Not sure about what to try next time as far as food is considered. Probably stick with pizza. Another plus is that their beer selection was very good with some good local beers on tap. Pints and pitchers were coming out fast to all the patrons there. At least three IPA’s on draft there. I live in the neighborhood so I’d like to frequent there if the food came up a notch.

We had our secret santa exchange get together here about a week and a half ago(ruby tuesday crew). Most of us had to work dinner so we ended up getting there around 11:30. Decent drink prices for a restaurant(it’s not a hole on the wall bar) and good pours. We had about 14 people there and had a table by the outside patio/covered section by the Golden Tee arcade game(which was nice, because I haven’t gotten to play that game for a minute. Service was good, but they were slammed so trips to the bar for refills were necessary. but it didn’t bother me. You can smoke in that area, big plus. We had a good time and I would suggest Stevies for those who haven’t been.

WOW!!! Never so bad!!!, We have had the pizza a couple of times, it was OK, so when we decided to get a pizza and watch the rest of the game we choose Stevie Tomato’s just up the street. We sat at the outside bar. The bartender was helping a table, when she walked behind the bar she never once looked in our direction, She helped some guys at the bar poured them another drink, poured herself a healthy vodka drink for her self, and yet still never acknowledged us. Five minutes and we got up and walked into the inside bar. Several people sitting there eating and drinking but no bartender, after a minute or so she arrived chewing food. She did come right over and asked what we wanted to drink, we told her along with asking for menus. We got our drinks and finished looking at our menus, the bartender was cleaning glasses and walked around, never once did she say«ready to order» menus on the bar we looked right at her, she looked at us and went to the guy next to us and asked him if he wanted another drink. That was it, I then asked for our tab, paid the exact amount and left. I didn’t care that either bartender smiled for neither did, but to be ignored, they will never see me again or will I order a take out pizza again. Dec 137:00pm

Went here yesterday to watch the 1pm football games. It was a fun place. Different games indifferent TVs so fans could get into watching their home teams. Atmosphere was good fans were fun. Chicken Wings were outstanding!

The service was poor. We had to ask for everything… drink refills, napkins, condiments, etc. The waitress acted like we were inconveniencing her to be there. The food was mediocre at best. The chicken on my wife’s salad was tough. My gyro barely had meat on it. The place was full of drunken sports fans who were making it intolerable for the regular people to be there. My brother in law even tried to speak with a manager and they wouldn’t talk to him. This particular location of Stevie tomato’s has always been hit and miss at best. It will be a while before we try them again.

The service was poor. My wife had the Cobb salad the chicken was cold and resembled the pre-cooked stuff you get in the bag at the grocery store; only it had less flavor. The Ranch dressing was flavorless. The beer tasted like the lines needed cleaned especially since they were 6.50 a pop. They were micro — brew beers but still… my wings were good I really can’t complain them. The fries were WAY over salted, but nice hot and crispy. We will most likely not be coming back.

Usual stop on Thursday for the buffalo chicken strips. Really good most of the time and beer is cold and the waitresses are awesome. Wife likes the salad and usually never a long wait.

What a dump this place has become. Decided to drop in late evening around 11pm. The tables were filthy and had not been cleared. The staff was uninterested in the customers. They had a limited menu. I opted for the wings, which were undercooked and looked like someone melted a stick of butter on them. At least the beer was cold. Never again

Surprisingly toothsome eats here! Good kitchen w a superb service ethic. We had the BEST tacos ever. Really. The chicken avocado Cobb salad was fresh exciting w all the bells. The full bar can accommodate your thirst. Outside bar w ashtrays if you want to grab a drink n smoke. Cool air conditioned interior for lots of folks a very popular stop. We like the dry cleaners next door and make sure to combine our chores to include Stevie’s! The alterations are top line, professional and shockingly the BEST we have seen. The reason I mentioned this is that we would not have eaten here except that it was next door to the dry cleaners. Not your normal sports bar scene. it is perfect for its food alone! We will be back regularly.

Our last night in Cape Coral and decided to try eating here. Atmosphere was pretty good on a Friday, food was good for a sports bar and the service was very good. Will definitely be back for more. Our waitress was outstanding and friendly and the Carrot Cake was a home run.

Not your top-of-the-line sports bar, but a nice place for locals to come in regularly for games or drinks. Service could be more attentive and the food is all right, but nothing to get too excited about. Lots of distracting TVs, but that is to be expected of a sports bar to accommodate all their patrons and what they came to see. All in all, this place could be better than it is now, but it doesn’t seem to be making many strides.

Slow slow slow service. 45 mins without the beer I ordered. The whole table hasn’t had a drink in that time. The manager doesn’t seem to care. Server is new; I don’t blame her completely; she doesn’t seems to be trained. Very poorly managed it seems. We notice other tables complaining. They are blaming the kitchen and blaming the bar. No one seems to care. Not sure if I will give it another try.

Don’t want to leave a one star but I can’t leave a three. Place was busy. Server was slow. Beer was cold. Wings weren’t great. Cheese sticks were awful. Manager was friendly when I asked for the check and to remove the items we hadn’t received. 40 mins and one beer later we are going somewhere else. Too bad I’m going to miss the first pick of the draft now.

I went here on a Sunday night with a few friends. I was in town for the week from Nebraska, and didn’t expect much out of this sports bar. The specials were very surprising; drafts were buy one get one free, and the food was half off on all pizza, burgers, and nachos. I got the BLT specialty pizza and wasn’t too impressed by the pizza, but that was due to my choice of topping, but they did do a good job trying to make it taste like a BLT. The Long Island’s were very good and very alcoholic. The Jäger Bombs were a bit pricey at $ 6.75 a pop. The waitress was very attentive and kind. All in all I was impressed by this sports bar(and it’s excessive amount of televisions).

Love love love this place! The outside bar is the place to be. Weekends host a DJ, friendly bar staff, all the sports and plenty of company. Get in early to secure a seat!
