The best Cuban bakery around town!!! We are from Miami, so it was hard to find a good place. I especially love their pastelitos, so fresh and delicious!

Here is my 2 cents on the food and chit chat mixed in. I was here for three things. Chocolate eclairs, empanadas, and supposedly good cuban sandwich. The eclairs were ok. Smaller than you find in the real bakeries of italian or french origin. If you have travel south of the border or in the far east you know they do not have a sweet tooth. Europeans makes things sweeter and bigger. Plus being in Cape Coral or SWFL there is a void of outstanding italian and french bakeries. The empanadas… are unmarked and you take a chance of what you get.(NOTE: Most workers though very nice and helpful can be limited when speaking english. As this their second language. This is my observation.) Mine was ground beef and very tasty. The crust was light and flaky. I would like more meat less crust. Now the the cuban sandwich. Casa Rojas has been touted as one of the best cuban sandwiches in the area. I am not from Cuba or Florida. I have had only 2 – 3 cuban sandwiches in my life. I did like it. Bread was crispy and soft. The meat was tasty. Cheese was ok. The pickles added a good variation to it. BUT what is the big deal. It is basically just a hot ham and cheese sandwich. The only difference is the dill pickles. Overall this is a nice place for people with a mild palette. Folks are great, product is good ingredients excellent. I will be back for the eclairs.

Whenever I visit my parents in Cape Coral, I definitely make it a point to stop here, either during my time here or definitely before I go home– to bring back a box or two of guava pastries, cheese pastries, guava and cheese pastries, coconut pastries … There’s even a variety of empanadas, fresh baked and warm Cuban bread, and daily special meals! It’s definitely worth your while to stop here. Also, don’t forget to grab a cup of café con leche, my favorite, and they will make it fresh for you on the spot. The people here are very nice and welcoming and there are tables here to dine either inside or out. Love everything here!

Found this place today using Unilocal.I’m so excited about this wonderful, authentic Cuban café. Their desserts are fresh and tasty, yummy Cuban coffee, a variety of different sandwiches– and they even have fresh rolled Cuban cigars. What a great find! I will definitely be going back!

I’m from NY, but make sure to visit this place every time we come to FL… multiple times! It’s always busy, and for good reason! Love the cheese, guava and cheese pastries! Can’t leave the place without café con leche!

Ok, loved the Cortadito! Éclair, Guava pastry, and honestly every thing in that case looked like I needed to break my diet for more then this one day. The had Cubanos and many other items on the menu. We could not believe the prices. Very reasonable. The two woman working there were so sweet and very quick with customer service. Only complaint is that cortaditos are served in styrofoam cups, ugh! Guess I will live with it but hope they will change for dine in customers. Plan on returning. Check this place out!

Moved to their NEW location to a new strip mall, «Lighthouse Plaza,» on Pine Island Road, just east of «Carrabba’s Italian Grill» in January 2010. Shop is modern, with maps of Cuba on the walls, brightly-lit, and a little larger. Has the same menu as before, not just Cuban Crackers, Flans, Bread Puddings, cakes and cookies, but also assorted Roast Pork, Steak & Cuban Sandwiches, Tropical Fruit Milkshakes, «Ropa Vieja», Cuban Tamales, Empanadas, Ham & Chicken Croquettes, «Fritas»(Cuban-style Hamburgers) and all kinds of cakes made-to-order and pastries. Don’t forget the tiny but caffeine-packed, eye-opening Cuban espressos, just what you need at 6:00 A.M. when they open daily! They now have free WiFi, so you can enjoy your endless cups of Cuban espresso while checking your emails!
