Everything is made from scratch, and it’s delicious. Our server was patient and very knowledgable about the multitudes of bread types. Highly recommend if you like baked goods and breakfast!

Fresh, clean dining room and a great selection of pastries. Their version of eggs Benedict pushes the limits of what I would call eggs Benedict but was still very good.

Being from Germany I am quite picky when it comes to German food, gotta say I really like this place. Had the farmers omelet and the latte macchiato. Omelet was amazing and the coffee tastes like they do at home. Overall impressed and will be returning here often

We stopped in for a light breakfast on a Wednesday morning before heading over to Sanibel island. The parking lot for this place is super small; but luckily we found a street spot near. The place looks fairly new on the outside & inside. They’ve got seating for patio & inside. You can order your food to go or you can dine there. We decided to dine inside. I got a cream puff & Phillip ordered a napoleon. The lady at the front was friendly & told us to pick where we wanted to sit & she’d bring it out. The puff pastry I got came on a square plate with some caramel drizzled on it. As we were in the restaurant, I overheard one of the employees telling a patron that a man that was from Paris makes all the pastries for them. I thought that BAM made them but maybe they get them from another place? I’m not sure. Anyhow we tried our breakfast options. The puff on my cream puff was pretty hard. It didn’t seem the freshest. They give you a little, dessert fork that makes it quite difficult to try to cut into the puff to eat. If it were a little light & fluffy(& puffy) it wouldn’t be an issue. The cream in the cream puff wasn’t very sweet at all. It had a nice consistency, but I thought the flavor was off. The napoleon was very uniformed in it’s decoration, almost like a machine made it. Overall I wasn’t that impressed with the pastries/desserts at BAM. I would like to give them another try, but I’ll probably go with the deli options they have.

We’ve had lunch here 4 times. Each time we’ve been happy with our meal and the service. The décor is just perfect — simple and attractive. We like the mixed salad that comes with the entrees. It’s a house salad«plus». Lots of dressing choices too. I particularly enjoy the champignon schnitzel with their«home fries»(bratkartoffeln) — with bacon and onion. Delicious! We’ve been coming to the bakery for 2+ years and are so pleased that they opened the restaurant now too.

I was feeling a bit ethic so I tried the new German eatery . Nice place wonderful and helpful staff. The place to come for real desserts But I tried a sandwich first, The Vienna. A Schnitzel(breaded pork loin). on a french baguette. It was properly seasoned and tasted good. But I thought the edges were over cooked since they were on the blacken side. The fries were thin and tasty. There was a german meatball used as garnish. It was cold but good with lots of garlic. Overall a good place. BUT an OUTSTANDINGBAKERY, fresh made bread, cream puffs, chocolate eclairs, apple strudels to name a few. So if you are not adventurous at least give the sweet tooth a treat.
