Great! We’re walking distance from Frontier Wok and we live 100 yards from Joy Feast. No mo! Century Dragon hit a home run(delivery) for us. Their«Planet Chicken» is like the second coming of the old Hollywood Sun Palace’s «Crispy Chicken». Stellar. Also enjoyed their fried rice and«Crown Walnut Shrimps». We’ll definitely be ordering more from them. Dee-lish!

Our little pocket Chinese food spot. Great food and service. Cute little date spot to come to after a long day.

Bottom line: huge portions and affordable prices This place was really good! Even the smaller servings sizes were huge! We definitely left stuffed! My husband who can normally eat 1.5−2 meals at a normal Chinese restaurant couldn’t even finish his meal so I would say if you have a smaller stomach that you would be fine splitting a meal with a friend and still leave full. If I were to go again, I would get it to go. It took a really long time to get our food(about 35 minutes) and the service wasn’t very good. Most of the time our drinks were empty. But the food was very good so I will deal with it.

Century Dragon has pretty awful service for such a small restaurant. The server is always in the back or hiding behind the registers. But what they lack in service, they kind of make up for in food. I ordered the Empire Shrimp, which was phenomenal. An easily salty, spicy, crispy crusted shrimp on a bed of lettuce and topped with mild jalapenos. Although their photo shows broccoli, it is not included, which was very disappointing. The dish is about $ 13, you can throw on a couple piece of broccoli without breaking your bank or leave out some shrimp, how would I know? But to make the customer pay extra for broccoli that is advertised, a bit disheartening. I also ordered the Szechwuan Tofu, which was delightful. A ton of soft tofu stirred in with a medley of vegetables. It is a great choice for vegetarians.

Great family-owned and operated Chinese Diner. Service is fantastic and they have Wi-Fi. Prices are reasonable. I love their orange chicken and the hot oil for the pork fried rice. There usually isn’t a wait so you can get in and out of there quickly. Parking is easy. Wish they had egg rolls that were something other than vegetarian.

One of my favorite go-to places for casual Chinese in Burbank. Been coming here for years. Sesame chicken(I always ask them to make it spicy:) is so good. Lean chicken. Broccoli. Delicious brown sauce. Annie is always friendly whenever I pick up for take out or eat in. It’s small with about ten tables but nice warm lighting and chunky wood tables. It can get busy on Friday nights and usually only one maybe two to wait on tables while at same time taking care of take out pick up order so be patient:) The food is great! They also do great sizzling rice soup and Thai ice teas too!

I absolutely love Chinese food… My favorite restaurant use to be Frontier Wok(on Olive, also in Burbank), but once I tried Century Dragon, OMG! Amazing! Totally outdoes any Chinese Restaurant I’ve ever tasted. Deeeeeeeelicious: p

Been coming here for over 10 years. The service is consistently top tier and the food is consistently fresh and tastes great! It’s one of my favorite places of all time. I order the Empire shrimp, Kung Pao chicken, and combination fried rice. Their lunch specials are the best since their quality food comes at a reasonable price on that occasion. I typically order for delivery these days. If you’re looking for good Chinese food in the Burbank area I highly recommend this restaurant as the freshness of the food is the cornerstone of their business.

Love this place, it took me almost a year to find a great delicious, not overly greasy, not too healthy– just right Chinese restaurant. A lot of places will serve you orange chicken, orange beef, orange shrimp, orange beans– etc and does not get too creative. This place actually has taste and they don’t drown their food in sauce. You can really enjoy the spices and meat– maybe I’m just a particular foodie but I’m impressed, I compare all my Chinese takeouts to this pinnacle of delish! I’m always disappointed when I wander off. Keep up the great work!

The food was great. I enjoyed the vegetarian dumplings and I got the low mien noodles the food is fresh and hot. The shrimp is great. I enjoyed the fact the fried rice even tasted good and this is coming from someone who doesn’t like rice that much. The draw back is since its a hole in the wall it is easy to miss. The sign on the front is lit up. Fix your sign so people can find it. please. I almost didn’t find it.

One of the fellow Unilocaler claimed that this is the best Chinese food in Burbank, so of course I had to try it. When you flip open the menu, one of the first thing you see are the chef recommended dishes. so to save me some time on flipping through, I ordered a few chef recommended dishes. I was really enjoying my dinner and feeding my face with the so called best Chinese food in Burbank. As any normal person would stuff their face, they would need something to wash it down. I drank and drank, until it was gone. i was parched and started to drink the melting ice and that was when I saw it. a small fury little creature with more than two legs. it seemed like it was frozen to an ice. I attempted to be nonchalant about it and stated that there was something in my drink. One of the employees took the cup, showed their fellow employees, then just gave me another cup of my drink. I overheard the person in charge and that person said it was nothing. I did not get an apology or recognition about my discovery. only a statement that it was another cup. I did not want to eat the food that was on the table. I simply just broke down and fell into a shell. from enjoying what was delicious for my tummy to now thinking in my head… how will my tummy feel knowing that it was«nothing» in my drink. should have been a one star, but the extra star was before the finding of my fury little creature.

I absolutely love this place! I go probably whenever I get a craving for Chinese food, and it is great every time. The cashier is always friendly. And they know me by name now. Even when they answer the phone when I call to make an order, they’ll answer with my Name. I was so surprised the first time they did it. Lol. The price is great for the portion size, the convenience, and customer service… Oh, and the Taste of course. I think I’ll head down and get an order of Orange Chicken now. Lol

My husband and I were very disappointed in Century Dragon after seeing the 4 out of 5 star review. We were ready to try a new Chinese place and since it was around the corner… why not? We picked up our food(we did not dine) and dug in. I tried the Chicken Lo Mein first and no taste. Then an egg roll. Again — not much to write home about. My husband had the Empire Shrimp and he said it was decent but we decided it would be the last time to visit. Even his Hot and Soup soup was bland(how hard it is to mess up Hot and Sour?) For an Entrée I tried the Moo Shoo shrimp. The Crepes which come with it… I could actually taste the flour in the crepes. Not good… I ate one filled crêpe out of four. It’s rarely I throw food away but this time we did. Nothing special enough to pay 54.00 for. I’ll have to say… very disappointing. It makes me wonder who tastes their food? The owners really need to double check with their cooks in the back. This is one place we will not call again.

In a sea of REALLY mediocre Chinese food in Burbank, one can finally call out«land ho» with the solid and surprisingly good Century Dragon. My wife and I have had to venture out of our little burg to find good Chinese food. And truth be told found it a little frustrating. We tried some of the usual staples just to compare. Their take on a Honey Walnut Shrimp(Crown Walnut Shrimp) and a type of orange chicken(Planet Chicken) are pretty tasty! They manage to give you good flavor and sizable portions without skimping on your protein or making the dish overly saucy and goopy. I think they try to take a fresher lighter approach to cooking… and it works! No MSG is used here either. Thumbs up. And their chicken or vegetable fried rice is DEE-LISH! If I had one minor knock is that I called in my order for pickup, got a quote of 25 minutes to be ready… ended up being closer to 40 minutes. To be fair though, they were swamped with people and orders when I arrived and I guess good food takes time to make. That said, I WAS offered an apology AND a feee Thai Iced Tea for my troubles. Kudos for that! :)

Delivery was fast and accurate. Not impressed with the food. Ordered Kung pao shrimp which I was expecting tone an appetizer with only shrimp, turned out to be a few pieces of shrimp in typical peppers and peanuts. Ordered«medium» spicy, being a fan of spicy but not TOO spicy and a first timer. Completely bland. Should have included rice to mop up the sauce I didn’t want. Hot and sour soup is very watery and mostly broth. Again, the«medium» was very bland. The combo lo mein was the most disappointing. Only a few shrimp, a good portion of chicken, but only a few strips of a very weird, sinewy beef. Very bland. Overall, food was flavorless and unimpressive. All tastes very cheap and not in the so-cheap-but-so-good-Chinese way. Would not order again.

Ordered take out last night through Unilocal/EAT24 from Century Dragon. Love their delivery timer, it was pretty spot on. Guy showed up within 5 minutes of the expected time frame(said 45 – 60 min, he was to our place before 50 minutes). Guy had a little trouble with our call box(it lists the apartment number to ring, and he was trying to find the name, not sure why it was hard to go by the apartment number). The food was A-OK, and it was still hot when delivered which is a plus(means he wasn’t out delivering for 50 minutes before getting to us, right?). The food is the Americanized«Chinese» fare you’d expect at most«Chinese» restaurants in the US, and exactly what we wanted. We had appetizers, fried cream cheese wontons and steamed pork dumplings, and two entrees, General Tso’s and Sweet & Sour Shrimp. Everything tasted fresh and the flavors were right about where you’d expect them to be. The wontons came with a sweet sauce and a spicy mustard, which is great because so many places deliver without the sauces(who keeps a sweet sauce on hand?!). The wrappers were actually really thin compared to what I’m used to, but while it made them less«thick» they were still crunchy and tasty. The filling was a little skimpy too, but not terrible. The dumplings were good, the pork had flavor and they weren’t soggy even though they were steamed and then delivered, and they came with a side of soy sauce for dipping. The General Tso’s chicken is not heavily breaded(good thing, in my opinion) and the sauce is tasty, but not at all spicy — not much broccoli included. The Sweet & Sour shrimp was a good balance, and there were plenty of shrimp mixed in with the veggies. The serving sizes of the entrees are great for sharing, each would serve 2 – 4 people(with rice, of course), or 2 people if you’re hungry /didn’t go for appetizers. I wish rice came with the entrees, but it doesn’t, so order your rice separately. The large rice is plenty for 1+ person, unless you’re like me and love tons of rice. Also, they don’t include soy sauce, etc. unless you request it(there’s a Condiment button to order that on Eat24). We asked for chopsticks, but they weren’t delivered. Not a big issue, I know how to use a fork I guess … Also, the entrees give you the option of mild, medium, hot. I requested hot, and there was zero spice to my dish except for the hot peppers(dehydrated whole red chili peppers thrown into the sauce) themselves. I’ll eat those, don’t get me wrong, but it’s not the same as having a spicy sauce. Would definitely order delivery from them again and branch out into the other offerings now that we know it’s an OK place. Probably opt for something else if we were going to dine out.
