I had been waiting to see another dentist closer to my home, but they are in the midst of hiring a dental hygienist and did not know how long it would be. They gave me the number for Dr. Pagliacci. I called on 8⁄5 to make an appointment. They gave me one for 8⁄6 at 4:20. On 8⁄6 I had been waiting for a new lawn service to come and mow my lawn. They were hours late. I needed to be home to see a contract and pay part of it. I really HAD to wait for the lawn people as my grass was at about the 6 in mark. As time went by, I knew I wouldn’t make the 4:20 appointment. At 3:15 I called to reschedule. I was told that they require 24 hours notice and that since I was a new patient that I would be inactivated. In order to give 24 hours notice I would have had to reschedule the moment I made the appointment. WOW. I understand the dentist now had a slot where he would not make money, but there would never have been an opportunity for me to have 24 hours notice since the appointment was made the day before.
