About a hour ago I was crossing the street(Delaware and Hartwell) when a lady in a motorized wheelchair was stuck. Her left week was stuck in a mini pot hole just off the curb. I tried to help but couldn’t. Three gentleman from your(pub) immediately came over to help. They struggled for a minute but they did it. Just wanted to say these guys rock! You have fantastic patrons! I wish I knew their names, they deserve to a free beer. By the way you guys rock also!(Love your roast beef sandwiches!) Crystal 2439 Delaware

After looking closely at our options to try out the best wings in buffalo, we chose Kelly’s Korner. Oh, we did not go wrong! We arrived and stumbled upon a tailgate party for a Bills game. Needless to say the ambiance was great! Upon entering the pub we were warmly greeted by the staff. Our barman(very nice redheaded man whom I didn’t catch the name) was incredibly helpful and happy to guide us through our culinary trip to buffalo. We ended up getting the roastbeef sandwich and the WINGS! The sauce was just out of this world tasty, spicy and unique. Thank you for the warm welcome, the food and the GREAT service.

Yes this is the place for the best Beef on Weck and Chicken Wings in North Buffalo. You walk in the door and it’s like a trip back in time. The polished bar, the jukebox and one of those old school bowling games. What a cool spot. 2 booths and a few tables plus the bar area. Small but quaint. But the beef on weck is anything but small. Layers of thinly sliced beef on fresh kimmelweck rolls. My husband and I always split one due to the size. Super tasty and if you want fries with it the whole thing will set you back $ 8.00. And $ 8.25 if you want it to go. Moving on to the wings. We always order extra crispy and hot. The barmaid takes the order and proceeds to the back kitchen where she whips up the most AMAZINGWINGSAUCEEVER. Not just Franks and butter like every other wing joint in town. This sauce is full of spices and an amazing heat. SOOOOGOOD. Cooked super crispy but not dried out. A single order is under $ 10.00 and worth every penny. On a slow night service is pretty quick but on a busy night you may have to wait since your server is also the cook and the barmaid. She is a wonder woman all in one. Highly recommend for your next beef or wing night. Enjoy and maybe play a game or 2 of bowling.

I used to live right down the street from Kelly’s. Every time I walked past on my way to Gordon’s, I would think«It’s a shame that place looks so shady — it’s a lot closer than Gordon’s.» Now, after visiting, I have learned that Kelly’s is, in fact, shady, but it’s also great! The bartender was fantastic and engaging. They have a limited supply of beers on tap, but I didn’t expect anything outrageous going in. A quick table rearrangement opened up the dart floor to our group. The crowd at the dive bar was also great — all locals enjoying Sunday Funday. I had great conversation, decent beer, and a lot of fun being bad at darts(Really, I’m hopeless.) The portion that I really need to rave about is the roast beef. It was delicious and MASSIVE. So much meat! Meat, meat, meat! And, on top of being plentiful, it was also well-cooked and delicious.

I went into this place a couple of days ago looking for mom and pop shop that serves wings. I got an order of medium buffalo wings. They were nice and crispy, and didn’t cost as much as duff’s or anchor bar. I told the bartender that I was from out of town, and that it was my first time there. Once word got out that I hadn’t been there before, everyone started being very friendly, and one guy even bought me a beer! I definitely recommend this place for some nice Buffalo hospitality, and the best wings I’ve had in Buffalo.

Kelly’s is where I go when I need a good time. The bartenders are friendly and fast. Anytime I have a Sunday off you know I’m at Kelly’s. The wings are saucy and delicious. I always feel at home at Kelly’s.

I don’t always eat meat, but when I do, I’m usually at Kelly’s Korner. The Beef on Weck(they just call it a roast beef sandwich) is excellent, the wings are great(especially the hot or the bbq), and the drinks are very affordable. They have an old-school shuffle-bowling game that still works(and only costs a quarter, IIRC), modern jukebox and dartboards, and no-nonsense bartenders that make you feel right at home when you walk in the door.

ordered wings 10 medium 10 garlic, and brought them home, there was barley any sauce on them. They tasted like plain fried wings. 1st and last time i order from here.

Kelly’s korner looks like a abandoned old place from outside. I live just in the neighborhood, until friend of mine recommend this place for there best roast beef sandwich I didn’t know they are still open. Place need some work, from outside to inside need lot of improvement. we stopped in for some drinks and roast beef. The roast beef was lived up to the hype, one of the best in town for sure. Bartender was really friendly. Definitely a good place to get a roast beef sandwich, and a drink or two with friends. Not a place to bring family/date for dinner. prices are really reasonable.

went to Kellys Korner Thursday 1÷9÷14 because last time I was there the bartender was rude and gave awful customer service. I tried a different night hoping to get a better experience. It was a different bartender named Theresa as a customer called her Theresa but she was even worse. She makes you and everyone else wait at least 10 minutes until she asks you for a drink, she was not even busy except busy talking to her friends. When you order food she gives you an attitude as she does not want to cook the food. I ordered the roast beef and French fry special for $ 7.50 and then asked for a beer and she started arguing with me as there is a roast beef and beer special also, I did not know that, After my 1st beer was done she did not ask if I wanted another beer until 30 minutes later and then I did not want one. As I was there customers were leaving saying goodbye and thank you to her and she just gave them dirty looks. The food is good here but the service is just awful.

The hot wings at Kelly’s are probably the thing I miss most from moving to California. Went home for the holidays and it was a must stop. Really find Kelly’s, 9 – 11 Tavern, Gordons & Mammosers to be the best wings in the area. Prices are very reasonable. Can go with friends and order 50 wings and $ 5 pitchers and really get after it for little more than $ 10 bucks a person.

solid buffalo food. the wings are some of my favorite from the area and in my opinion the only real reason to come here. its kind of a locals hang out, not that theres anything wrong with that but considering its pretty cramped on the inside to begin with I just don’t see why anyone would want to spend a night here. its kinda dark inside and theres not many redeeming qualities. their menu is written in chicken scratch on a chalk board, the bar is small and kind of shabby, everything about the interior has a feel that it hasn’t been updated or really taken care of for a few years. the bartender was nice and the food was good but I deffinately would not want to bring family or a date here. come to kellys for the food, but get it to go

Looking for a dynamite beef on weck sandwich? YES, YES, YES! This is it. Every bit as delicious as the beef on weck at Bar Bills out in East Aurora BUT at a much more reasonable price and without having to do battle for a table. + + + the amount of beef on Kelly’s sandwiches puts Bar Bills and everyone else to shame. After touring the Darwin Martin house I took the rents & my family to see where my dad spent the first 5 years of his life in Tonawanda just off Delaware Avenue. On our way back toward the city to visit Forest Lawn, my mom told me to find somewhere to eat lunch. I spotted Kelly’s advertising food & spirits. Yeah baby, a stereotypical Buffalo gin mill. So I made a quick right onto Hartwell and parked the car. As my mom got out of the car she remarked how I always take her to the finest places. Mom’s a Polock from the east side of Buffalo, so that was just her NY sarcasm coming out, ha, ha. She and my dad ordered the fish plate, and both said it was absolutely delicious. Muggz had a burger that she claims as being made from fresh ground beef similar to Burger Boss in Riverside(CA). Wifey had a turkey sandwich that was extremely tasty. The 5 of us had a great meal with a couple of drinks apiece for about $ 70. What a fantastic bargain. Next time we’re in Buffalo I’ll definitely be heading over to Kelly’s Korner.

The interior is nothing to write home about. But re talking about the food right? Arguably the best beef on weck in the city. Thin cut and piled high. Pair it with a blue for $ 6. You can’t beat it. They have a fairly limited menu. A couple of other sandwiches and wings. But for the money it can’t be beat. Like I said it’s pretty much a dive bar but worth a stop for the beef. Yum

Everything about this place is amazing. My father took us here for the beef on weck. The sandwiches are made with a generous amount of delicious and tender roast beef– possibly the best that we have ever had. The chicken wings are also crispy and flavorful. It is worth visiting Buffalo just to check out the great food at Kelly’s. We were contemplating not writing this review because we wanted to enjoy Kelly’s all to ourselves! Ha! Oh, the last time we were there we noticed an amazing special: a roast beef sandwich and a beer for $ 6. That is an amazing deal. There sandwiches are huge– you certainly won’t leave hungry! Don’t expect anything fancy inside. Kelly’s is a dive in the very best sense of the word.

This was recommended as a place to get a great beef-on-weck sandwich while visiting Buffalo. While it was not without its charm, the service was so bad that I quickly soured on the place before I’d even presented my ID to get a beer. The hatchet-faced Buffalo mavens who preside over the kitchen and bar(there were two of them serving roughly 30 people) pay no attention to their customers, dispense beer and food with a bad attitude, and generally make the place unpleasant, especially for visitors. While a certain amount of asshole-ishness can be humorous and give a place a more relaxed and dirty vibe, this looked like any Irish bar run by someone who couldn’t give a toss about what their bar looks like. There was nothing fun or interesting about it. As for the food, well, the one bite of beef on weck I got to try from my friends’ plate tasted great, while definitely consisting of 87% sodium, but they ran out of rolls when I ordered a sandwich so it didn’t matter anyway. I got open-faced beef on Wonder-Bread with gravy. It tasted like you would expect: disappointment. The wings were passable, but even in buffalo it is not that difficult to make a decent Buffalo wing. Who knows. They had Stroh’s in bottles, though, so I at least had a couple of beers for under ten dollars. The female bartender from this establishment can get fucked, in my opinion. Or she can rot behind the bar for another fifteen years and reflect on how she treats her customers. Either option works for me.
