Awesome place to stay if you are the Aurora area and have military access. The staff was nice, the building was beautiful. I will be back. They can use more parking areas.

I really liked this hotel. Very clean, the price was right — no complaints from me. Oh wait, there is one complaint. Like someone mentioned in a previous review, the pillows are very uncomfortable. Makes sleeping very difficult. But — this was one of the cheaper hotels I looked into — and I didn’t have to worry about my vehicle being broken into/things stolen, etc. FYI — you have to have base access to stay at this hotel, in case anyone was wondering. Would I stay here again? Absolutely — and plan on doing so in the future.

Nice and clean hotel. Friendly front desk. Just like the other reviews, I think over all it is a decent hotel, but I do wish they have better pillows.

Clean new hotel, unbeatable price! Except for air conditioning; the thermostat would not go lower than 69 degrees(which was warm) and I woke up several times due to discomfort of the temperature. The unit was also so loud when it kicked on & off all night. Also, kind of weird missing amenity; I was departing at 0400 so I had packed a healthy breakfast of instant oatmeal, banana, cup of mixed berries and milk. As I was heating the milk in the microwave, I couldn’t locate a spoon, so knowing there is a café in the lobby had asked for one. I was told it would be $ 00.25– I don’t have any money and so I ended up slurping my breakfast w/o, even though I know they had spoons. They’ll give out complimentary tea and coffee in nice to– go cups but not a spoon! Also, just a side note, the pillows are extremely full and uncomfortable. However, you know, it’s a great place to stay because of one word«respect», no noise, no riff raff– no worries!

This is a great lodge, I’ve had to stay here during my seasonal training because I live in Fort Collins. I’ve been here for a month and I have a month to go. The staff are all really nice and helpful. The lodge itself is very new and modern. It has a great big gas fire pit outside which is great to relax around. The only disappointing thing to me is that they have no pool and/or hot tub, and they have no free continental breakfast. Otherwise, great place!

Man. military lodging/billeting has come a long way. We were just in Colorado over the past week and Rocky Mountain Lodge was so much more than I could ask for in a hotel. The front desk staff was always very pleasant and the free coffee machine downstairs was perfect for the late nights working from my computer in our hotel room. Rickenbackers(the coffee shop) downstairs was great, too. Every morning we got our coffee and just this past morning we got a maple pecan pastry thing and it was fantastic! They just opened about a year ago and I think it’s a wonderful option to staying in a hotel in Denver(if you have a military ID or base access). So only a couple minor things to mention .It would’ve been nice if housekeeping had actually replaced the towel that was on the floor without us having to call and ask them for it. Lastly. the beds, though slightly small(full size), were super comfy. The pillows on the other hand were not. They were too thick so sleeping on it made my neck hurt. The only other option was to sleep sans pillow. which was fine though I do like pillows and would’ve liked it if they had a less thick option. But I will end this on a good/great note. They have a fire pit outside that they light up at night and it is amazing. They also have a fireplace inside the lobby. These two fire options are great if it dips below 40 which it most certainly did and most definitely will.
