Pizza Hut

Ordered from them several times before and had never had a problem until last night.
Last night my boyfriend and I placed an order for pasta, wings, and fries around 6:40. Expected delivery time: 2 hours. First of all, I know it’s finals week, so this could explain the long wait, but when the delivery guy arrived, at exactly the 2 hour mark, all he had to give us was the pasta, breadsticks, and ranch. He then said that’s all they gave him and that he would talk to his manager.
About 10 – 15 minutes (a little after 9 at this point) later he arrives back with the fries, which were old and stale, and no wings.
After this we never heard back from anyone. My boyfriend and I were just completely exasperated by the whole thing that we just gave up and let it go.
This whole situation was unfortunate, but I can see how maybe the manager at Pizza Hut thought we were pulling a scam, but I think a courtesy phone call to explain the situation was warranted.
Still I give it 3 stars because this is the only unfortunate incident I’ve ever experienced with them out of around 10 – 15 times I’ve ordered from them over the years.

I suppose for completion as having eaten at «Every Restaurant in the World» as Good Bull Hunting recent published about me, I should at least wrap up Bryan and College Station.
Called in a pick up order today and the person obviously didn’t know the menu. I clearly said «I would like a personal pan pepperoni lovers». Took repeating it three times to confirm that I didn’t need peppers. Picked up the pie in 15 minutes like they said and it was already cold.
Gave me some heartburn like hell. I guess I won’t be doing this again.

Pizza Hut in general isnt a great place, and I never really have that high of expectations. However, this store in particular is terrible. Have lost my order before and tonight they hadn’t even started my pizza when i showed up 25 minutes after I ordered it. Overall an awful store.

I have ordered from this place like three times since I have moved here and have never had a problem. When I have carried out the people working were always super nice! When it got delivered it came quicker than I thought. I am a HUGE fan of Pizza Hut! I am obsessed with pizza in general, and have always loved their food. The rating here were very surprising to me!

The people here are very nice. I give them that. However, they work SO SLOW. I don’t know what it is, but every time I order wings, WINGS! it takes more than 30 minutes.
I can make wings at home for less than that time, but I don’t and which is why I order it from Pizza Hut.
I only ordered 10 wings this times and it took almost 45 minutes (carryout).
Where is the manager?
3 Stars for their politeness, but not 5 for their work effort.

I’ve ordered from this place 3 times now — mainly because their wings are better than Domino’s.
However — every time they are breathtakingly slow. I waited 1:15 today for 24 wings, which is absurd. 3 out of 3 times the delivery driver has called me because they «can’t find my apartment building» — which isn’t hard to miss. No other delivery driver seems to have an issue except drivers from this particular Pizza hut.
Two of those times that the driver called me, I’ve been able to see the driver from my window while they’re insisting they can’t find my building. They also seem to have issues with parking, getting out, and delivering the pizza to my door. Twice I’ve gotten so irritated that I just exit the building and get the pizza from them myself. I’m starting to think it’s a ploy so they don’t have to deliver to the door or something.

I dislike Pizza Hut pizza mainly because of the crust/​dough. I find the texture a little like a dry dish sponge. Also the sauce seems to contain too much tomato paste, which is sweet, and not enough ragu/​marinara. I had been contentedly ordering their ‘Toscani Pastas’ meaty marinara until recently. It solved both problems I had with their pizza: crust and sauce. But then I received a bad order of pasta. Shockingly bad. I brought my anticipated feast home, and began with the cheese, since I ordered extra cheese. After several chomps, I sensed a strange wine-​like flavor. Upon closer inspection, some of the noodles were discolored a dark blackish gray on one side. The noodles were rancid. I can’t see how this could be the result of an oversight, since the noodles should have been visible in the pan, before applying the sauce and cheese. Never again!
