Palo Alto Steakhouse

The rib eye steak I ordered was done exactly how a steak should be done. The loaded baked potato and mashed potatoes were right on too. I’ve ordered several times and the taste is consistent. The chocolate flan cake was delicious. I’ve never liked it because I always ate badly made ones unknowingly but as soon as as I tasted the one from here I knew that there had to be wrong with the others I’ve tasted throughout my life.
I rate it 5 stars because it met all reasonable expectations.

The restaurant is very beautiful. The service was sorta slow, so it is not a great lunch option of you are in a hurry. The food was very attractive but some orders were not real hot. The steak orders did come out very hot though.

The atmosphere is very nice and different from any place in Brownsville. it is elegant and romantic for a nice date with a significant other or great for a business meeting. the menu is small but they have very good options for everyone’s taste. I’ve come here twice and have enjoyed the service that I get from the staff. the lighting is low and they play sometimes live music. the food was very good and priced a little bit higher than average. I had the ribeye cooked medium and had a very good flavor maybe the best I have had in Brownsville but I give this place 4 stars because the state was a little over cooked as I received it medium well instead of medium and some parts of the it was chard. They also ran specials on appetizers and drinks half price. I did order one of their mango margaritas as the server had told me it was one of their specialties. It was very nicely decorated but it did not have much flavor and really didn’t taste the alcohol in it. I could not taste the Mango nor tequila. So I really did not enjoy the drink. I give it four stars because of the environment, the friendly staff, and their food has a very good taste and is fresh except for the minor issue with the charding of my steak.

My grandmother and I had a wonderful breakfast buffet Sunday morning with tacos prosciutto ham steak and and amazing dessert table and bottomless mimosas!!! Everyone was incredibly friendly and our server Raul was on top of his game. I would come every Sunday!!!
