This is my second visit on a Tuesday for two for one wings and are still a disapointment. The place is clean, has pool table, several televisions, and a large bar but the food is not worth the price. The wings are super small and they charge for sauce for the wings. They dont provide at least one with order. I give it two stars because their nachos were very good. the tortilla chips they used are homemade and are probably the best I’ve had in town. they are pretty plain but just the flavor alone on the chips is worth it.

Highway 48 might be managed or ran by the old Ice House owners on(511), relocated and renamed to Highway 48 Bar and Grill, to 7200 Padre Island Hwy hence the name, when i use to live in Brownsville this was a once a week dine for my family and I, when i visit i always try to make it at least once. Their food and service has always been on point. Their Wings never disappoint and their nachos are amazing along with awesome daily specials !
