Yosweets Frozen Yogurt

First time here in this store and I tried the yogurt section. It’s good. There’s a store that’s similar to this around here. They even give out punch-​cards when you purchase 4 dollars or more. Seats get filled up quickly at times, so you have to find a place to sit down and eat or on the go.

Frozen yogurt tastes good. However, I find the buy 5 get one free is a tricky deal.
Each ounce cost 53¢ and they only give 5oz free after purchasing 5 Frozen yogurts (they all have to be 4 dollars or more.
So I’m actually not getting one free. I’m just getting a discount 2.65 $ off.
I always get more than 5oz. I’m always paying 8 dollars or more per cup.
Everything else is alright. The staff are friendly.

Except for it being overpriced… the frozen yogurt is fantastic! They have a lot of different flavors (I tried caramel and coconut macaron). And they have a ton of different toppings (I loved the tiny caramel turtles). Definitely a treat!
Also…it kind of irks me to see a tip jar at the counter, when it’s a SERVE YOURSELF place. You even put your own toppings on. The only thing the guy at the register does is weigh and take yo $$. Needless to say, the jar was empty. But that’s just my 2 cents.

A rotating selection of frozen yogurts (both regular and non-​fat), with a few other choices of crepes, smoothies, and sweets, it’s a bit overpriced, but a nice alternative to ice cream in a very clean store.
Overall, I’d say if you’re looking for frozen yogurt, it’s nothing special, but you won’t be disappointed.

Best taro ice cream in NYC. I’ve been to Red Mango (too soft) and other mom and pop shops, but Yosweets has the taro ice cream down! And they always have a selection of toppings, including mochi, my favorite. The price is very reasonable, and the frozen yogurt is the perfect consistency. I brought mine home on a hot evening, and it was still enjoyable, not a watered down mess. I’ve eaten in before as well, and there are enough tables and seating to enjoy. They keep everything clean and stocked.

I really like this little spot. I only stopped by once, but it left a good enough impression that I would come by again if I pass by this store.

–There’s around 15 flavors or so for the frozen yogurts. There’s unique flavors like «red velvet cake» and «New York cheesecake.»
— There are a lot of toppings to choose from! You can even have rainbow colored mochi instead of the regular colored ones if you wanted… They taste the same, really, but it just makes your froyo cup look all the more magical the more colors you add…

This place is super cute. It has that bright look most froyo places have. I’m always weary of trying new places for my frozen yogurt because some have w weird taste. The service here is very friendly and they have a ton of good flavors to choose from. The coconut is especially creamy and the taro was absolutely delicious.
My boyfriend had their cookies and cream with cheesecake. He’s a picky eater and even he was pleased. They also give you a nifty little card that they stamp everytime you buy one. Who doesn’t love the thought of getting something for free!

First time try it n loved it. Other than the fact that i was over paying my bill cux it was $ 4 and accidently $ 10 got caught in there and i didnt notice cux i was in a rush and she actually gave me back the $ 10. Super honest person! And i loves the yougurt!

I usually go to the fro-​yo place where Modells is but I went with a friend to try out this place! First off, the smell inside the store was horrible! I’m not even exaggerating, I thought it would smell like crepes & various fruits but it smelled like something broke in one of the fro-​yo machines. There was a lot of flavors to choose from but I went with the original alpine vanilla and chocolate. I wasn’t a fan. I prefer the fro-​yo place next to Modells better!

The big takeaway is their 12 flavors of froyo to choose from. Self-​serve froyo is nothing new in this hyper-​competitive market of traditional old-​school ice cream, seasonal Italian ices, and the resurgence of premium ice cream.
They don’t do anything different and while that may pass in an area that has few options, this isn’t the case in Bay Ridge. Good amount of seating, but be aware of that narrow corridor leading to their Froyo dispensers in the back-​could be problematic when this place gets packed and busy during the summer months. There’s no flow or discernible way to line up to get your Froyo. Some customers are just all over the place. What’s up with that?
At $.49/​oz, much like their competition, is priced nearly the same however i find their eurotart (a thicker version of classic) to have better consistency. It’s not as watery as nearby Swirl Fun’s (see my review on that) classic froyo. The mochi is colorful here… Never thought I’d see that but that’s the only thing unique here besides their loyalty card program which was better. It was Buy 4 get 1 free card but seems to be no longer existent. Finally the toppings… fruit are hit or miss as with the other froyo spots, they’re not always fresh.
They also are able to make smoothies and crepes like the rest and offer coffee/​tea during the off-​season. When they’re not busy behind the counter, they do assist with samples, however I can’t see that happening during the busy times. How about offering sample cups upon request? Of the three froyo places in the area, I’d make this my first option for the reasons cited above — 12 flavors.

great place, we had a customized smoothie and crêpe. both were fresh, delicious, and worth coming back for. the staff is sweet, considerate, and friendly. the atmosphere is comfy, bright, and there is wifi too!

I was walking around Bay Ridge awaiting Miss Sarit’s arrival and saw this froyo spot. It looks nice on the outside, typical froyo modernized look with lots of glass and open-​airy environment.
I was greeted warmly by the young man behind the counter, who quickly got swamped with customers and could not help me with samples. I was a bit miffed that he did not offer to just give me 1 – 2 sample cups, but maybe that is their policy? –1 star.
After waiting 4 – 5 minutes another older gentleman came in and I quickly grabbed him before others could. He enthusiastically showed me to the dispensing area and I sampled Banana Foster (OMG) and a couple others. I settled on the Banana Foster and Original Tart topped with many yummies. The Banana Tart is a mix of banana and caramel and is simply divine.
Their toppings bar is fresh and clean, and has many options from which to peruse. Overall I would certainly come here again and the price isn’t bad at about .50 $/​ounce.

Came here for the first time the other day, and I was very pleasantly surprised!
As a frequent visitor of the 16Handles franchise, I always find myself comparing other fro-​yo shops to them. I must say, I think I enjoyed their product here even more! I tried 3 flavors of yogurt, and all of them were very delicious, and tasted crisp and fresh. Even the basic vanilla tasted amazing. There was a great amount of topping options — everything you could want, from fruits, to syrups, to cookies and peanut butter cups — and everything was in place and neat. The service was friendly, and the pricing is standard to pretty much every other yogurt chain. Can’t say a bad thing about the place.
Looks like they made a fan out of me!

Only docked a star because when we went in two of the machines weren’t ready so out of 15 or 16 flavors only 10 were usable.
I got eurotart, dulce de leche, and alpine vanilla– dulce de leche had a great sweet flavor and the eurotart was perfectly tangy. The vanilla was good too, not overly sweet. The toppings were clean with a decent assortment.
The lady working the register was high energy and friendly.
I’ll be back for sure.

I’m always in the mood for frozen yogurt, especially on a hot day! We popped in here for a cool treat, and were pleased with the flavor selection and topping choices. The fresh fruit (particularly the mango) was the perfect topping to a delightful bowl of fro-​yo.

I love them! I love the self-​serve aspect, and the employees generally seem pretty friendly. The yogurt tastes great and the toppings always seem fresh. I’ve been here quite a few times since it opened and I’m always happy when I leave. I actually don’t know what standard by the oz yogurt prices are, but I feel the value is good.

The flavors for frozen yogurt and the toppings change around every 2−3weeks so customers can try new things. Very delicious and very healthy for you esp with almost all flavors being fat-​free and sugar-​free
The price there is verrrrrry cheap esp with 49cents per oz for frozen yogurt and crepes being only 2.95 with additional dollar for every topping!
Mmmm love this place!
