All around, really good experience. Service was nice, really great space — lightning makes all the difference! Came here on a pretty busy Wednesday night and were seated right away. I had the Brie + Candied Walnut Salad — SOGOOD!

Solid spot when all the other joints are busy as heck! Wine night is a good time. must get their pretzel bites and lobester mac & cheese — if you make it there on the right night. Nice fireplace in the back for the cooler nights.

GREAT sweet potato fries and the right dipping sauces. Very reasonable $ 16 brunch and complimentary one drink option. Food is quick and pretty tasty. Chipotle chicken sandwich was great. They’ve really perfected their French Fries and Sweet Potato Fries. Great weekend brunch option if the spots on Bedford have long wait times. Waitress was very nice and the atmosphere is very comfortable.

The food is good but the long dark hair bartender that me and my friend have encountered a few times is beyond horrible and rude. They do some great specials but dealing with this horribly rude bartender just makes it an experience I don’t want to repeat. Its a given if you have a food special people usually buy a few regular priced drinks which we did so not sure why this bartender is so rude. This woman wouldn’t even offer ketchup to us. Very rude being we had ordered 5 drinks by that time so wasn’t small check. My friend didn’t want to return after 1st visit and I asked him to give another shot and we actually sat at a table and had a fabulous waitress. She offered us water and ketchup, wow amazing! Can be a good experience just don’t sit at the bar. Note to management the bartender needs an attitude adjustment as she is just bad energy. Enjoy the restaurant but her rudeness just makes me not want to drink or eat and run out.

Great place! Has a beautiful setting with a fire place. Came here for New Year’s Day brunch! The menu options are great selection! And the drinks are pretty boozy(can’t be mad at that!) Staff is very friendly, service was great they had the food out in good time and everything was just as we ordered. No long lines! No wait! On New Year’s Day! Love this place !’

Don’t waste your time or money; go someplace else. I was told my food would arrive in 40 – 50 minutes, but it took more like 1h 20 mins. By the time it showed up, everything was cold. The sandwich was more bread than anything else, and the chicken was tough — almost inedible. The fries that accompanied it seemed to have been cooked the day before, and my $ 3 drink was two sips + a ton of ice. In all fairness though, the cheese steak spring rolls were amazing, even cold.

I went to Two Door Tavern for dinner and drinks with three friends on a Wednesday night. I liked that it was easy, with a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of options for food and drink. I could easily imagine this place doing well as a chain restaurant. We got a table on the upper level of the tavern, with a view of the bar and patrons downstairs. It was kind of loud, but not terribly so. Service was okay, mostly fine, not quite attentive. One thing I really did not like – I was undecided on whether I should order a burger or the rigatoni, and when I asked the waitress her opinion, she neglected to mention that it was $ 5 burger night. I ended up getting the $ 17 rigatoni and feeling like an idiot. My fault, I guess, since the $ 5 burger special was noted somewhere I could see it, but I would’ve thought that was relevant information she could’ve relayed without undue difficulty. The rigatoni was pretty good, though. The pasta was cooked to the right texture, with a nice tomato basil sauce and plenty of sweet Italian sausage, spinach, and fresh mozzarella. Everything about this was quite satisfying, and the portion was generous. It came with some herbed garlic bread on the side. Don’t know that it was $ 12 better than a burger, but at least it was a decent dinner. I’m not entirely sure why, but I ordered a bloody mary to drink with my dinner, followed by a beer. Both were fine, I think. The bloody mary was forgettable but not bad, and I don’t remember what beer I got. There was nothing particularly compelling about Two Door Tavern, but it was a serviceable place with a casual vibe, solid food, and apparently, a $ 5 burger night. I’d probably go once in a while if I lived in the neighborhood, if I wanted a drink or a meal out and didn’t have other ideas.

Came here for brunch a few times. Had the steak and eggs, the eggs Benedict, and the red velvet pancakes. The pancakes are a little too sweet, I would recommend sharing them. But overall the food was good and the service was too. Very cute place.

Pretty decent bar. The food looked great(I didn’t eat anything, but my friends did). They have a nice upstairs/outside place to hang, which is great. It’s a bit pricey, but they have a nice beer selection and the atmosphere is laid back. They seem to have nice happy hour and brunch specials(I didn’t go during those times) and it’s in a great location. Service could have been better, but I would definitely come back.

I have been here on two different occasions and I am officially a fan! The first time was in the wee hours of the morning when my old bones forgot how awful one feels the morning after drinking all night and washing it down with burgers, beers and fries. The second time was for one of the dopest happy hour I have ever experienced. For the sake of keeping the happy hours civilized, that’s all the detail you’ll get on that. I come here for burgers. I have never had anything else from their menu but burgers are all i need. I always go for the beef burger with goat cheese and caramelized onions. But the one time I was feeling brave to have two burgers, I tried the turkey burger and as much as I love beef… their turkey burger is Phe-Nom. All the burgers come with an adorable small bucket of fries– you can’t keep the bucket, I already asked. The sangria is okay but i paid $ 5 for it so i really cant complain. I would probably do a margarita next time or even a beer. Get the turkey burger and convince yourself its healthy. Stay away from my happy hour.

Giving them 3.5 stars I would give them 4 stars, and I’m sure on a normal night they deserve 4, but I went on a Wednesday when they were slammed and our fries were NOTFULLYCOOKED. Big no-no, but, honestly, $ 5 burgers can’t be beat. BBQ smokehouse burger with grilled onions and peppers, BBQ sauce was very flavorful and cooked to juicy, medium perfection. My friend and I also ordered sweet potato fries, which come with this really amazing spiced aioli with cinnamon and nutmeg. Had the fries been totally cooked, it would have been a mind-blowing experience. But I digress. The nachos, were meh, pretty well done with grilled chicken – might’ve been better with pulled pork. The guac that came with them was awesome, I would recommend piling more ish onto these nachos. Half of them were left naked – no gooey, melted cheese; too few jalapenos; and not nearly enough sour cream or tomatoes! Generally, there was not enough awesomeness to go around for each of these cold, lonely tortilla chips. Hook them nachos up, Two Door! Burger special is an amazing deal and the ambiance is nice and divey/laid back. The soundtrack ranges from Goo Goo Dolls to Lauryn Hill(a.k.a. my 4th grade playlists) and there’s plenty of seating. The bar was pretty slow the other night with only one fair lady tending to it, and it took – not kidding– 25 minutes before any libation graced my lips! Come on, now! Restaurants need to stop making me thankful that I walk with a liter of Poland Spring. I should not be serving my own beverage upon arrival… you don’t have a BYOB sign out front. I’m being a bit over-the-top here because I think they can really do better. The flavors were mostly there, the ideas were there and I think on a normal night I would’ve given them a solid four stars, but the fries and slow(but delicious) drinks were a big problem. Although, when finally presented with my cucumber-agave margarita, I was thoroughly pleased. I guess it might have been worth the wait… but I’m convinced they can move faster than that. Overall, it was a great first go, and I would highly recommend, though potentially not on a Wednesday. No, definitely check out the burger special and hope that my first time was merely a snafu. Food was 4/5, Service 3.5÷5(slow BOH/bar, but very sweet and attentive FOH), Ambiance 5⁄5

Pretty solid bar that gets an extra star for their $ 5 burger Wednesdays. I can’t help but love anywhere that will give me a burger(and not just a bare-bones burger… you can order any burger on the menu) for $ 5(with the purchase of a drink). The burger itself was very good, and the fries, though a little soggy, were also solid. Beer menu isn’t the greatest, but it’s not bad either. About 6 or 7 drafts, and then a nice selection of bottles. Happy hour is until 7pm, which I think kicks the draft price down to $ 5(from 6 or 7, so still not too expensive!). The wait staff is very friendly, ambiance is casual but fun, and overall I have a nice time here. It’s a great place to meet a few friends to chat — not too loud to talk, but casual enough for a quick meetup. I haven’t tried any food other than the $ 5 burgers so far… aside from that deal, the menu is a little pricier than I usually go for. But based on the burgers, I’d be willing to bet they’re pretty good.

Pretty good food. Very good french fries. At the begining we’ve been wainting a while for waitress, but apart from that everything else was OK. Curious decoration outside(rust steel), clean toilets.

Environment: outdoor seating Wait: non for seating, 20 – 30 min for food Food: so so — velvet pancakes: easily can share two people, a little sweeter side, not crunchy, bland taste — crab Benedict: nothing stand out — home fried: delicious, fried with tomato and onion! Drink: great Service: friendly Price: regular Overall: not a place for great food but might be for a good drink

Their Happy Hour menu is pretty decent. Basically it’s $ 5 for beer selections and $ 6 for house cabs and chardonnays. They also have some appetizers which is nice. Earlier today I had their house cab which is on the sweeter side but totally worth it. Our bartender poured a good amount into my goblet glass. This was totally worth it! I suggest coming here for Happy Hour and then hopping somewhere else for more drinks or even food.

My sister and I went here for a nice cheap brunch. 15.95 for a meal and a drink. It’s a very good location right off the main drag. Uptown salad with grilled chicken added. They put two chicken breasts on top and I had to cut them myself, they weren’t chunks, this was $ 3. My sister had the two door Benedict and they didn’t put bacon on the side. The mimosas were good and not too watered down. Nice outdoor seating and not too busy and loud even on a holiday weekend.

Call me a LUSH but their Sugar and Spice cocktail is not only deliciously good but STRONG. Who would’ve thunk that a mixture of brown sugar simple syrup and cinnamon sticks could transform a Rye Whiskey? I’m a stone believer and need another fix soon! I also checked their brunch menu and it looks good – red velvet PANCAKES? Oh, you’ll see another review posted soon.

I really like this place and have been coming here for about 2 years. It started off as the bar I would go to when I was early for a MHOW show, but now that I live in the hood I find it is one of my go to bars for a place that is just in the middle of so many themes. It isn’t overly hipster or overly classy, it serves bar food but it is cheap and not a ‘gastropub’, they have a solid tap list and make good cocktails but it isn’t trying to be the next craft cocktail joint. In short is is a bar that can fit all needs and why I find myself here every month or two. It is also in a great location, just off the main drag but within walking distance of a lot of the burg. The food is pretty good and they have a great happy hours including mussels, pigs in the blanket and fried pickles. They make a mean gin martini and it is HUGE. I have heard tales of a solid brunch but I have never been. Also the wait staff and bartenders have always been friendly. Don’t know what you want or where you should go? Come here and give it a try.

Since I moved from Brooklyn after high school, I tried really really hard not to have to come back for any reason — especially to Williamsburg. With that being said, I am willing to make an exception for Two Door. It’s such an all-around great venue. The service(both bar and table) are a great mix of casual and professional. The décor is warm yet thoughtful — especially the fire place on the upper level across from the«stock room.» And the food. mmm. You know that’s what I’m all about. Some of my favs: the pigs in a blanket, the fried pickles, and the cheese steak spring rolls. Can’t wait until the next.
