Not sure how I felt about this place. I can’t really say it was that welcoming. The food was ok(ordered the fried chicken sandwich — though the guy with the ponytail who handed me my order seemed nice). I also ordered the sangria while I waited. I didn’t like it at all; they talked it up on the menu, def’ly not worth the buy. I’m kind of mad I tipped the bartender because leaving I felt he really didn’t deserve it, something about him turned me off; can’t pinpoint what. Would I go back or recommend… probably not. And, I’m only giving it three stars because of the server who handed me my takeout.

This is a great neighborhood bar. I frequent this joint more than once a week. The wings are amazing, the staff is nice and the service is great. They have a great rotating beer list. As good as it gets for a neighborhood bar.

Favorite hobby: find out the theme between the 3 movies playing on the 3 TVs. Other favorite hobby– stuffing my face with mac and cheese and hamburgers. Habitat feels like if your comfortable living room couch had a friendly wait staff on hand bringing you beers, burgers and wings.

Solid bar. Less fancy, more down to earth, and more lively than some of the other options in the neighborhood.

Really delicious, really amazing bar food with great staff and owners. Nothing too fancy, just good freaking food. Burger is good. Wings are delicious. Mac and cheese is amazing($ 5 at lunch and happy hour, and all night Monday! Yes please.) Great draft list — constantly changing with so many good beers I’ve never heard of(they always have at least one IPA, double IPA, sour, amber, porter, pilsner etc. so there’s something for everyone), and they’ll always let you try a sip before you commit. Plus, I love when places have happy hour on the weekends! Note: They do not do brunch food anymore! You can get bloodies and mimosas, but the menu is the same all day. Also, if you’re a vegetarian, call ahead! Their menu changes, and sometimes there’s not a huge selection.

This lovely Greenpoint establishment is home to some damn good mac and cheese. It also has enough sides for someone like me to have a well balanced meal: corn bread, salad and mac and cheese. Find out more on highclasstohighlifes:

One of my go to spots in the neighborhood! Very friendly & knowledgable staff. They change the artwork out pretty frequently which keeps things fun too. Everything on their menu is delicious and I love their sangria.

Really great wings, some of the best that I’ve had in Brooklyn. Good, frequently rotated list of beers, tasty bar bites and an above average burger make this a great neighborhood spot.

I’ve been going to Habitat for some time, and often eat several meals/week here. For the significant amount of $ we spend, we’re a little bummed that we have never once been offered a free drink, or ice cream, or something. Recently, the service can come across as pushy(such as, if a server asks if you want another drink when you are still drinking one). One starts to feel rushed. While we still like Habitat, I am downgrading the love, and we are going to look for a new place to be ‘regulars.’

I love this place. The food is solid and the menu changes seasonally, beers also rotate often. The bartenders and wait staff are all very friendly and I’ve never had a bad experience in 2 years of frequenting this joint. Love.

Delicious food, love their empanadas and cheesy goodness of a baked potato. Staff has always been really friendly and sweet. It’s a nice place to go solo or with friends. Always has nice decorations/art on the walls. 3 movies playing at once sounds like it can be overwhelming, but it’s surprisingly just the right amount of entertaining. Oh, and great selection of draught beers.

Nice restaurant in Greenpoint! They also seem a nice bar, but Ive never been there to drink. The reason of my frequency there is the Mac n Cheese. They offer a nice lunch special for a really good price. The mac n cheese is awesome and cost 5 bucks and comes a huge portion. They also have some promotion for dinner. If you are around Greenpoint, I strongly recommend you this nice restaurant and pub!!!

This place is just really GOOD. Food, beer, staff, ambience… If you’re looking to chill somewhere relaxing, comfortable, and still maintains its level of quality, Habitat nails it. From their impressive selection of craft beers to their grass-fed burgers, I have never left disappointed. Their burger(with the build-your-own option) is possibly the top 5 burgers I’ve ever had in my entire life. Patty is small, but you can taste the quality, and on an English muffin, there’s no issue with having too much bun and not enough contents. Their wings are delicious(I wouldn’t say the best in Brooklyn, however), and empanadas are delightful. Honestly, the pricing will seem a tad high. However, I do GUARANTEE, you eat what you’re paying for. Delicious cocktails, great beer, AMAZING burgers. Now that all that’s out of the way, here is the most important highlight: GETTHEICECREAM. You have no room for dessert? It doesn’t matter, get it anyway. There’s always room for the best homemade ice cream I have ever had in my life!

Habitat is a small bar with great personality. There’s about 10 – 12 spots to sit at the bar, a couple of medium-sized picnic style tables on the ground level, and a few steps up are about 5 smaller tables. They offer some decent drink specials for happy hour and to be perfectly honest, I pretty much go there for the vibe, food, and what’s playing on the 3 TVs. Sometimes you’ll find the night’s sports on, others you’ll find some awesome cult classic films in all different genres, ranging from sci-fi, horror, to comedy. In terms of food and drink, the staff & bartenders are always friendly and know what they’re doing. When I’m in the mood for some good wings and a huge salad to accompany them, this is my spot. The empanadas, and burgers and fries are also really good. Did I mention the mac n’ cheese here? With bacon? Yea… pretty much all the food here is delicious and a $ 4 tall boy helps wash it down. Habitat is a good go-to bar. Prices vary and aren’t necessarily the cheapest, but the food is well worth it.

I visited a friend who recently moved to this area and I am shocked at how she didn’t find this place earlier. They really do have the best wings in Brooklyn. Perfect amount of crispy perfection with a sauce that makes me rethink my priorities in life. Or something. It’s just a great sauce. The ranch is a little weird, but that’s why blue cheese and wings have always been the better combo. They had this type of sandwhich on brioche bread with fried chicken pickled onions feta and capers. BOMB. Amazingness. Deliciousness. I want to go back but I’m not about that G train life

Tasty and cool bar. Not as price gouging as some places are in the area. I like any place with a can beer/shot of whiskey special. Cobb salad was really good
