Ok Im Giving them two stars because I like their burgers and their salad. The 1st time I came here I ordered a bagel with butter and jelly. The guy ended up charging me 6.50. I pay it, making a mental note not to buy anything from here again. So when he begins to make it I see him putting salmon on it. I told him I did not want salmon so he took the salmon off and the price dropped to 1.75. I was refunded my money and given an unsweetened ice tea for free. He didn’t give me a fresh bagel and I was disgusted to taste the salmon juice and butter and jelly combo. GRODIE! So I went back and ordered at another time. This time the woman at the counter couldn’t count. The burgers were good so I was happy about that but the customer service was lacking. So I went back recently and there was another server and she seemed nice and able to count. The salad was good and they had a live band that night(not that I enjoyed the music, it didn’t sound that good but not every white man with a saxophone can be Kenny G.)They seemed to be in their beginning stages of restaurant business so I understand. I went today at around 12 and they weren’t serving food until 1 and they were open since 11. WTF, I thought about ordering but I changed my mind. I will go to a restaurant that is more established.

I am tired of patronizing businesses that have owners or employees that act as if I’m doing them a favor by giving them my money. I own in the neighborhood so I make a point to go to new establishments and support them. I have gone to this place 3 times and I will never set foot back in there again. The first time was for a coffee… no issue their since all they have to do is pour it in a cup. another time I had brunch with my mother and son and our food was totally screwed up. But being ever positive person I said to my self .they are still working our the kinks let me give them another chance. So I go there once again I make a point of just not ordering coffee or the cheapest thing on the menu .I also order a sandwich. I tell her no mayo. Guess what the sandwich comes out with MAYO. Still no biggie. They take it back and fix it. As I wait I can’t get connected to the wifi. I go to the counter and ask for help. The countergirl also does not know. She walks over to the corner of the counter where a man named Norman is sitting. He totally does not acknowledge me or the fact that his employee does not know what to tell me. He does not even look in my direction. I ask who is he she tells me he is the owner. I am shocked. I find this kind of ish rude… and I tell him. He tells me he is busy. That’s why he has an employee. There were only 2 other customers in the place. REALLY dude you could not take 2 mins out of your time to help your customer… Trust me… you want hard working people like me in your establishment who will buy a coffee everyday to keep YOUR business going. It is very hurtful and disturbing when minority owned businesses act this way. I gathered my belongs and went to OUTPOST on fulton st where you WILLSEETHEDIFFERENCEINSERVICEANDATTITUDE. Do yourself a favor Norman and check it out… please take notes.

I’d been looking forward to checking out this place after walking by and noticing the fun, bright outdoor benches. I wasn’t disappointed. The space is huge, comfortable, with a vaguely western vibe. They have a variety of coffee drinks, pastries, and brunch. I only tried the coffee, which wasn’t the best I’ve tried in the area, but perfectly fine. I’ll be back to try the brunch. There’s plenty of seating, with several vintage-y leather couches and window stools, free wi-fi and outlets. There’s an upright piano and lots of space in the back, maybe for events? the staff was super friendly, too. A really great new spot!

Great new place in the currently gentrifying area of Bed-Stuy on Bedford ave. Definitely needed in this area with the folks who are moving in. Great job. Rustic feel. Perfect for Brooklyn. Really sweet bar staff! Nice owners. Only had tea and bagel, but the chef seems to know her stuff! Ready to try her food. :-)

Yes yes yes ! Stable House is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. The décor is Beautiful, the staff were very friendly and I absolutely love the fact I don’t have to leave my hood for brunch. So Sunday me and my love stop in for brunch. I had the French toast w chicken apple sausage(see pics) and the love had chicken and waffles(see pics). Everything was GREAT! The french toast was made with a buttery croissant and the chicken apple sausage was good. The coffee was surprisingly excellent! I love a good strong brew and that is exactly what i had at Stable House. Happy to have this spot in the neighborhood!!!

This place is pretty new but so far everything is great. The space is big so you don’t have to worry about sitting on top of other people with laptops. The staff are friendly and there’s a nice crowd that comes in and out. This is a nice addition to Bedford Ave. Try the salmon croquettes with scrambled eggs and grits. Delicious.
